The Outlet Owl (exitus noctuae) is the most widespread species of owl on Aphrodite and one of the most widespread of all surviving bird species. They are found almost everywhere except for the polar regions, and some isolated islands. Related to both the Elf Owl (Micrathene whitneyi) line and the Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia) line they also enjoy unique adaptive mutation present only in their own species relating to running and simple tool useage. The Outlet Owl is also known as the Common Owlet, to distinguish it from the other species in its family.
