Episode 14

Helios is still rubbing his jaw after being punched the fuck out by Eris as he stares at the unconscious Bazin twin…he still couldn’t believe what he saw.

Apollo's Defensive Form isn’t as good as Luna's defense, but he's definitely in the Top 3 in the group in that regard. Even then, she shattered it easily..

Helios shakes off the nerves he feels as he readies his own blade, sneaking a glance at Selene who seems to be doing just fine not even taking damage from the roundhouse kick.

Her offensive form still couldn't shatter Luna's defense…but she was only using Apollo's ability. What if she combines Flames or Light Manipulation? What could we do…

Helios thinks for a moment before grinning as he rushes her, Eris stops him quickly using Apollo's Blitz Form, already increasing her impressive speed and her recovery…she won't hit as hard but she'll definitely be able to heal any attack you hit her with unless you deliver a finishing blow before she can switch to either Tank (Power & Defense) or Defensive (Defense & Recovery). He stops his sword midswing watching her react almost instantaneously before using his free hand charging a massive beam of light and hitting her in the stomach piercing her before using the blunt of his blade hitting her in the nose.

Helios jumps up and does a split kick sending her flying behind Zero, his golden eyes land on his friend and smirks.

"Time for that rematch, Zero."

Eris looks from one face to another in a span of thirty seconds even ignoring the spectator which got Selene distracted as she rushes Zero.

I gotta take out the guy who can virtually burn anyone to a crisp-

Eris appears in front of Zero using Apollo's Phase Shift Blitz Form before switching into his Offensive Form, coating her hand in flames as she punches Zero in the gut. She keeps her unrelenting assault on him, her flames overpowering his own immunity as his shirt begins to char and reveal his abs.

Zero attempts to fight back but it only makes it worse, Eris delivers one more final blow.

Zero exploded in flames, the colors changing from bright orange to a mix of red, setting most of Zero's surroundings on fire.

A smile plastered on Zero's face as Helios and Eris blinked when they realized Zero was gone, but then all of a sudden, Eris saw a force grab her and stare directly into her eyes before being sent flying away by a hard kick to the face. Zero then looked back at Helios, the smile still plastered on his face.

"I've learned new tricks too."

Zero then zooms away, as his flames burn hotter than before, he remembers how he beat Karma in their last battle and decided he was going to do her like that... but worse. Zero slammed Eris into the ground, before landing right on top of her, stomping onto her chest, as he put his hand out, as flames swirled around the whole area.

Zero then pushed two fingers into Eris, causing a massive explosion, just enough to knock her out. As Zero started to calm down, he wasn't even tired as he looked at Eris and then turned back to Helios, looking at him.

"Now... about that rematch, Sun God."

Helios watches as Zero completely outclasses Eris in a matter of seconds, he stands there frozen in awe. When the hell did Zero get so powerful…was he always like this?

Helios shakes his nerves as he stares at Zero, the heat emanating from his body is even permeating the air around him…whatever happened, he's definitely leveled up.

If he's strong enough to shatter Eris' defense with both Apollo's ability & Shadow Manipulation active…he must be on a different level.

Helios grins as he rushes Zero, the two clashing their abilities, but Helios is caught off guard.

How the—

"AUUUUUGHHH"

A piercing scream leaves Helios mouth as he feels a burning sensation in his stomach as he gets launched back as he sees flames coating Zero's leg.

Selene watches from a far on how Eris was completely destroyed by Zero in a matter of seconds

The same person who gave Helios a run for his money was easily defeated by Zero. Helios knew it was something on Eris' side due to her being emotional lately, but it was still impressive.

Neither Zero nor Selene move for a moment, she quickly glances at the duo, Apollo and Eris, leave the arena as they've been defeated.

It's my time to prove myself, get ready Zero.

"I’ve been waiting for this."

Selene stretches out her arms towards Zero as her shadows rushes out to him surrounding him almost instantaneously as it begins to surround his legs and continues to go further up his body.

"The more you struggle, the more it’ll continue to cover your body. I’ve won this Zero!"

Zero takes a deep breath as he runs towards Selene and jumps up into the air as he tries to enhance his leg with flames, it doesn't seem to work. Zero grimaces as he still goes in for the kick, hitting Selene hard in the face.

"Oh you lucky bastard, seems your shadows keep me from enhancing my strikes, too bad it won't affect my arms."

Zero held his fist back as it slowly got infused with his flames as he stared at Selene who was trying to defend from the strike as Zero's fist moved faster at the same speed and power it moved when attacking Eris as he hit Selene hard, a massive shockwave being sent out, as Selene was the next eliminated. Zero finally turns to Helios.

"This is it, Helios. It's just us two now!"

Helios, rested his hand on the hilt of his katana, Amaterasu, named after a prodigy back in Japan who inspired him when younger. He sighed, as though this match was more of a formality.

"You're eager as always, Zero. But you already know how this will end."

Zero tensed, his motivation suddenly dissipating as the reality begin to hit him. The mana emanating from Helios. Has he been holding back this whole time!?

Helios' gaze sharpened. "I have something more important on my mind right now." He took a single step forward, the ground beneath his feet feeling almost heavier. "We've talked about it before, Zero. To increase our numbers, you need to recruit your old rival...that one man. I have something else to handle." His expression darkened slightly, something more serious settling in as the flames in his eyes grew darker. "Lorin."

Zero's fists unclenched slightly at the mention of Lorin, and he could see the difference in Helios' mood. Helios' rivalry with Lorin wasn't just personal; it was unfinished business.

There was a man in the arena, wearing a Hakama and Hakamashita, both pieces of clothing being embroider with patterns on its shiny golden like colour. Behind the dark hollow eyes of the mask a glow appeared, a light ocean blue colour was the only thing visible behind the eyes.

Water started to appear in a sword like form infront of him and around his head forming into a blue wavey hair like body of water.

He grabbed the sword which had been floating infront of him for a while and it immediately froze on impact, unsheathing it signifying that his battle had started.

He walked behind the nearest opponent he could find and turned him around by grabbing him by the shoulder and pulling it towards him. Once the opponent was fully turned around he dragged his sword against his chest and watched a fountain of blood gush out.

Having significantly weakened his opponent he just kicked them in the chest causing them to get knocked down hopefully staying down.

Zero took a breath, cautiously approaching the warrior who had just taken down an entire group by himself. He could feel the weight of his own rivalry with this man, but this wasn't about settling old scores. They needed him for something bigger.

Zero was now facing Jaeyun A. Valhalla. THE RIGHT HAND MAN OF THE SPIDER, WHO WAS CAMERON SIN.

"I know it's been a while, but I'm here to recruit you. You've heard of Fenris right? The man responsible for Cameron's death was Fenris' bodyguard. Come on, join us."

Jaeyun turned his body and faced it into his direction, finishing the person which he was fighting with a backwards stab watching him drop to the floor. Blood had accumulated on the blade, so he turned the ice blade into water and mixed it with the blood on the blade re-freezing it into an ice katana again but now the colour was red. He finally brought his attention to Zero.

"Arrogant proposal, why would I even want to join your cause, let alone humor you like this."

He extended his free hand in the direction of Zero as multiple ice blades appeared behind him unbeknownst to Zero.

"I will join your little group. Only if I'm eliminated."

And with that the battle started, he slowly walked towards Zero and with the snap of his fingers the blades of ice behind him came flying towards him aimed at his back. Beneath Jaeyun's feet water started to garner which would transport him towards Zero without any physical movement. Riding the wave of water he spun around and slashed horizontally towards Zero leaving icicles that cracked and shot out into shards in the trail that he slashed.

"Aren't your little friends going to aid you with this fight or are you alone here?"

Zero's face showed slight annoyance and despair as he's pelted by the shards getting cut multiple times and feeling a burning after effect.

"Damn that's cold!"

Zero, with no hesitation, rushed in, going flying towards Jaeyun leaving a trail in his wake as he caught up to him. The two clash water and fire as Zero has a wide smile on his face as he lifts his free hand, imbuing it with flames.

"I'll end this quickly!

Zero then thrusts his hand forward, aiming for Jaeyun's head as he attempts to inflict some massive burn damage.

"Bold statement, you're yet to back it up though."

Jaeyun leaned backwards letting the initial flame burst go over his head, but instead of moving back up he fully dropped to the ground his body turning into a puddle of water which reformed itself a good distance away from Zero.

"Good try, the way you fight reminds me of this Karma girl or whatever I met a while back. Wouldn't happen to be friends would you?"

"You fought my ex!?"

Jaeyun lowered his stance and hunched forward grabbing the handle of the blade, his body started to emit cold temperatures which served to counter the heat that radiated through the arena because of Zero.

"𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗹."

With a dash he stepped forward, drawing his blade and dragging it across the floor towards Zero, leaving a trail of ice that formed into crystalised spikes which approached Zero. Repeating this process two more times making a total of three waves of ice spikes that approached Zero.

"You will be impaled if you’re not careful."

He sheathed his blade and clapped keeping his hands against one another. Underneath his palms water started to garner, once he had drawn his hand away from the other a massive eruption of water started to encircle Jaeyun blocking anyone's ability to see him due to the water spinning at high speeds.

As Zero landed on his feet to get better focus, he felt an immense mix of cold and pain in his left arm as he sees an Ice Spike was stabbed straight through his left arm, he grimaced in pain as he removed the spike from arm.

"Damn! Got me good. Now where are you...?"

Zero looked around quickly, his eyes darting in different directions as he placed his hands on the ground. The ground started to heat up quickly, almost to the heat of magma itself and he smirked.

"Let's see how you do in extreme heat."

Suddenly flames start to explode and begin uncontrolled destruction, burning with intense heat. Unrelenting and not stopping.

The water started to evaporate, revealing Jaeyun. The evaporated water started to concentrate more and more. He extended his hand toward Zero, the heat around him made his skin red and his body heat up.

"Fine, you've earned some respect."

The evaporated water moved into the direction of where the extended hand was pointing. Surrounding Zero and forcing him to inhale it, the evaporated water started to slowly decrease in temperature

"You garnered my fullest attention now, do you feel it getting harder to breathe, the air you inhale feeling sharp and painful, your body temperature dropping? At this rate you will suffocate."

Jaeyun then crouched and pressed his hand against his forehead. Cooling down his body to withstand the heat some more, and then lowered the same hand and planted it on the floor he was standing on. Ice garnered under his hand and traveled towards Zero in the form of spikes. Once they had reached Zero the spikes formed into a massive Buddha statue which eroded through the floor.

Zero starts to feel the effects of the air, each breath feeling like sharp needles stabbing the inside of his lungs and cutting them apart. He noticed the spikes and Buddha statue as he quickly zoomed around, avoiding the two attacks. He soon landed on the ground, planting his feet as he smirked, putting two fingers forwards and two fingers back, almost like he was holding a bow as a powerful, hot as yellowstone volcano magma flame arrow materialized in his hand, glaring at Jaeyun.

Zero then fires the arrow, the heat, the flames, all spreading throughout the arena. If Jaeyun didn't do anything, it'd explode with supernova levels and go throughout the entire arena, setting ablaze to everything.

"If you're this strong, how come I don't remember you? Surely someone of your caliber would have stuck in my mind. Ah, it doesn't matter anymore, what's your name again boy? I'll be sure to remember it this time."

CREATED MOVE: SEVEN STRATUM TECHNIQUE

Explanation : This move created a multi layered row of seven walls going from water to ice and back to water. This is for the sole purpose of removing and dispelling the momentum of the attack and simultaneously freezing it.

A row of water appeared in between Jaeyun and the attack coming towards him, like in the explanation a diversion of water and ice walls was made. Once the attack came close enough its temperature started to slightly cool down, once it hit the first layer of water the water evaporated and the attack was slightly weaker. Hitting the first layer of ice the actual force of the attack caused it to crack and break but it served the purpose of slowing it down and weakening it due to the temperature of the ice and even the ice that melted cooled it down even further as the water would slightly douse the flame.

The attack moved all the way to the seventh layer and nearly cracked through, still pretty hot. He extended his hand towards the final layer creating cold temperatures to further fortify the final set of defences but to no avail. He watched the attack break through the wall now a shell of its former self.

He moved his arms into a cross guard shape, his arms dropping in temperature to massive extents ice encircling both of his arms. The air itself around his body started to lower to such a low temperature that it was at the brink of freezing. The arrow was barely two meters away, then it started to struggle moving forward. The air had successfully frozen but this still couldn't stop the attack fully since it managed to break the ice around his arms too slowly, burning away the skin until the last of its embers disappeared.

"Good job, you got so close to killing me that you managed to make me use this move. Now I'm actually curious as to what your name is. Don't keep me waiting now, before I knock you out."

Jaeyun stepped out of the cloud of dust that was created by the impact of the attack. Revealing his charred arms and the cloth on his arms fully being burnt away. He dashed towards Zero using boosts of water to accelerate his movements. Jaeyun punched him in the stomach leaving a patch of ice on the area that he hit. Jaeyun did a leg kick hitting Zero just above the right thigh, freezing the area he hit aswell. He elbowed him straight on the jaw and like the other attacks, ice started to appear there aswell.

He abandoned his onslaught for a second and extended his right hand near Zero's face. Water generated from Jaeyun's palm and wrapped around Zero's head lifting him up in the air and restricting the airflow going into his lungs. He held him up like this and in his left hand he conjured a blunt ice weapon. Releasing the grasp around his head and smashing the blunt weapon into his face. Zero Kenzo was knocked unconscious, and eliminated.

Jaeyun A. Valhalla is the victor.

Just as he had finished utterly humiliating Zero, a small figure would appear sprinting across the arena in an attempt to find an opponent he would beat yet still enjoy. Settling on a particularly interesting looking man he recognized, appearing behind him and attempting to stab right through his gut knowing the martial artist would be able to avoid the attack one way or another. Jaeyun manages to turn and weave at the last moment, the edge cutting his abdomen to draw some blood.

"Hey. You really fucked up fire boy huh? Show me how. I can't help but wonder how'll you fight extered."
