ETHEREAL SUNSET

This is my first fanfic, please do give me constructive criticism about my grammar and story as my first language is not English. Thank you!

I took quite a lot of inspiration from Manga’s, Light Novels like Royal Road and Ark, and Anime so if you see some scenes or things that maybe familiar it is due to that being my intention.

Prolouge

It has been a real tiring and mundane day for the 23 years old Joey. The dull cycle of waking up, preparing for the day, going to work from 8am to 5pm, eating out because he cannot be bothered to cook for himself, going home to an empty apartment and finally passing out in front of the TV has been eating at him. He have been this doing this routine all his life without any form of excitement. And it did not help that he looks pretty much like any average joe with a little inferiority complex, you see he was never the most handsome guy, the most intelligent, the most talented or have any of the “most” people seem to have, heck he does not even have any negative behavior or characteristic worth mentioning about. He is simply an existence that the world may or may not have spewed out accidentally.

And since Joey have never had any excitement in his life, he turned to Anime, Manga, Light Novel, and Books of Lore to at least imagine some kind of life where everything is exciting, everything is new, danger are around, weapons and magic to obtain and damsels in distress to save. This is where he truly lives, in his “imagination world”. Not knowing that he will soon have the opportunity to actually experience all of this thru ETHEREAL SUNSET!
