Chapter 2:
As I woke up, everything started to make sense little by little. However, accepting the truth was hard, and tears threatened to burst. I tried to control my emotions, but memories of my family and friends flooded my mind, causing me to break down in tears.
To make matters worse, the door creaked open, but my vision was obstructed by tears, and I couldn't identify who it was.
**POV Niel:**
After admiring my peacefully sleeping daughter, I stood outside the room, contemplating what the future held. The mere thought of anything happening to my family tore at my heart.
As I was about to visit Mily, Luna's cries echoed from her room. I rushed in to find her sobbing uncontrollably. Flustered, I tried to calm her down, but my attempts were futile. Thankfully, my wife came to the rescue, snatching Luna from my arms and embracing her. She cooed gently while shooting me a disapproving look, as if I were the culprit. I lacked the courage to say anything.

**POV Luna:**
Despair washed over me until I felt warm hands embracing me, followed by another pair, along with a soft hum that gradually calmed me down. I looked up to see a slim woman and a man. Weakness overtook me, making it difficult to focus.
Some time later, I woke up again, finding myself next to the woman. Before my emotions could overwhelm me, I composed myself and tried to observe her. She was a brunette with soft, calm eyes, radiating a comforting aura. Glancing around, I noticed a room with medieval architecture, characterized by wooden and stone structures. This realization solidified my situation: I was far from home, perhaps never to return. The woman beside me was likely the mother of this body I had taken over. I felt a mix of sadness for myself and the family I was now a part of. Accepting these new familial ties would be challenging, but I wouldn't deny them the joy of having me. They had given me another chance at life, even if I wished it weren't burdened with my old memories.
A thought struck me: how had I died, and what was happening to my family back home? Emotions bubbled inside me, accompanied by an uncomfortable feeling. Trying to identify it, I realized—I had been reborn as a baby. All the self-control I had shattered, and I cried my eyes out before being gently lulled to sleep.
In the days that followed, I slowly grasped my situation. Even the smallest emotions could spiral out of control easily, whether it was amusement leading to uncontrollable giggles or hunger escalating into rage. I discovered I had no control over most of my reflexes, which, as a medical student, was both fascinating and disconcerting. The language they spoke identified my name as Luna (Xioquna in their tongue), a realization that took time to sink in. I hoped that within a year, I could accept them as my parents. Nevertheless, the love for my original parents would never fade, and my new parents would hold a special place in my heart.
However, the most challenging revelation was the realization that I had undergone a gender swap, adding another layer of complexity to my new life.
