In a world of continuous battles between the North and South, young Arthur grows up hearing stories of monsters, and gods in an endless war. Found in between these lands civilization survives.  To Arthur, these stories just seem like fairy tales, questioning the existence of gods when he hasn’t even seen monsters before. However, when tragedy strikes and Arthur’s family is taken away from him, he discovers the true face of the monsters in the stories his mother told him. The once-made belief creatures become a frightening reality as he struggles with the harshness of his world where good and evil blur together. As Arthur navigates through this new reality, he finds himself surrounded by ancient prophecies, forgotten magics, and battles between countries and religions.
