The Meryopoling...

The Eternum Council had just concluded a meeting, and the Celestials were leaving the chamber when a strange presence filled the room. The Celestials stopped in their tracks, feeling the powerful energy emanating from the mysterious entity that had just appeared before them.

The entity was cloaked in darkness, making it impossible to see any features, but it radiated a sense of authority that demanded attention. The Celestials watched warily as the entity approached them.

"Greetings, Celestials," the entity said in a deep, echoing voice that seemed to reverberate throughout the room. "I am the Entity of the Beyond."

The Celestials exchanged nervous glances. They had heard of this being, but no one had ever seen it before. The Entity of the Beyond was said to have incredible power, beyond even that of the Celestials themselves.

"What brings you here?" one of the Celestials finally spoke up.

The entity tilted its head. "I have come to discuss the balance of Eternum."

The Celestials stiffened, knowing that the balance was their responsibility. "The balance is being maintained," another Celestial spoke up. "There is no need for concern."

The Entity of the Beyond let out a low chuckle. "Is that so? I have felt a disturbance in the balance. Something is amiss."

Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.

The Celestials exchanged worried looks. If the Entity of the Beyond was correct, then there could be dire consequences for Eternum.

"What can we do?" one of the Celestials asked.

"Find the source of the disturbance and correct it," the entity replied. "Or face the consequences."

With that, the Entity of the Beyond disappeared, leaving the Celestials to contemplate its warning.

Meanwhile, in a remote corner of Eternum, a young Meryopoling woke up to find himself in a strange place. He had no memory of how he got there, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something was not right.

He slowly got up, feeling a strange energy coursing through his body. It was like nothing he had ever experienced before. As he took in his surroundings, he realized that he was in a strange, ancient temple.

The Meryopoling cautiously made his way through the temple, searching for any signs of life. As he walked, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched.

Suddenly, he heard a voice behind him. "Who are you?"

The Meryopoling spun around, only to find himself face to face with a mysterious being. He couldn't see its face, but he could sense the power radiating from it.

"I-I don't know," the Meryopoling stuttered.

The mysterious being regarded him for a moment before speaking again. "You are special, Meryopoling. You possess a power beyond what your kind is capable of. But you are not meant to be here. You must leave this place before it's too late."

With that, the mysterious being vanished, leaving the Meryopoling more confused and scared than ever before.

As he made his way out of the temple, the Meryopoling couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. He had so many questions, but no answers. Who was that mysterious being, and why was he special? And what was this strange power he possessed?

Little did he know, his journey was just beginning, and he was about to be thrust into a world beyond his wildest imagination.
