Interlude,

My stride started to falter, the terrain was shit to begin with. full of deadly cliffs, slippery slopes and pesky trolls. To think we accept this mission. What did the HR adventurer guild think sending us to mapping these ungodly marches finding a new dungeon because some unknown researcher hunch.

“Well mate, the darndest thing is, how can we take a piss when climbing a cliff without someone under us knowing it was a piss!! did you wanna knooooooouuuu???””

At least there is chatterbox here constantly talking, like she has an allergy to silence.

“For fuck sake Arry can you be shut the fuck up for at least a fucking hour!! my foot is fucking hurt because all the cliff we have been through, now my ear starting to hurt because your fucking mouth!!!!”

aaand the grumpy coming after..

“First Droggo, my name is Arya, ar and ya, secondly, how many “fuck” sentence in there, you said “fucks” is more then you “haveeee” the fucks in your lifetime mate!! you know what i mean hu huh??”

Another of our rituals, Arya keeps talking then Drago mad he rushes on her, Drago is our tanker,he has a big body with most muscle i ever saw in human. he wears full plate armor, heavy shield and a spear. and arya is our ranger. a young woman with short black hair and an infectious smile. of course drago can't catch her. She wears typical leather, a bow, quiver, shortsword and 2 bottles of booze. I have my suspicion that booze is the only survival item she brings, because some of her own potions were secretly stashed on drago backpack. Arya is a chatterbox asshole and Drago is our stupid muscled ox.

Both of you please.. converse your stamina, you can fool around when we come back to the frontier..

both arya and Drago stopped and look furiously at Joko,

“WE ARE NOT!!”

As always our leader saves the day, Joko is a veteran adventurer. He has been the leader of our merry little band for more than 9 years. He always knows how to calm situations and find the best course of action to solve a problem.

“Old maaaan, how was it? is it still far away?”

I looked into a small layered device that is powered by mana, the FMSD (Frontier map system device). it saves location and mapping the new frontier. Technically it's a glorious map with a system.

“The device pointing the location is not far from here Arya, the mana fluctuation is increasing”

“You said that last time i ask old man”

i answered back calmly

“Last time you ask were one minute and 36 seconds ago”

Arya gruntled and looking at sky blaming what happen to her because of it

“Thank you, Hans. i know this trip is very hard to you with your age”

“Hahaha is all right Joko, my retirement is next year, one last great adventure before i hit the boring life.”

“a wizard in retirement huh? I guess I could imagine you will be in one of the enclosed villages and become an old teacher with a small house, that's beautiful and calm.”

Asuka, our newest recruit, was lent by the church to increase our survival in this mission. It is vital because the new dungeon if we can find and procure what is inside. it will become the church property.

I smile and look at her with a small smile hoping it would come true

“i hope so asuka”

“Oh arya dear, i am still curious what is the answer for your important question?? i find it amusing”

for a moment i found a glint in her eyes and a small smile..

“OOOh that! i almost forgot because this giant ox. the answer is pretend it is the water leaking from the flask”

“hmmm…”

Asuka still grinning

for a minute silent later…

“hmm i thought it wasn't raining when we climbing the cliff.. that's strange i could swear i saw you drenched Drago”

It was raining but not much, i weaved a simple planar magic to shield me from the rain and Asuka, Arya asked me to make a planner shield too for them and Joko is a Mage Swordsman so he knows a little spell for raining … that was why only Drago drenched and..

“FUUUCKING HELLL!!! ARRYY YOU WERE TOP OF ME WHEN WE CLIMB.. THAT WASNT RAIN IT WAS YOUR PISSS”

“err whaaatt??”

I, Joko and Arya looking at asuka at the same time

she innocently smiling sweetly at us and

Drago starts running chasing Arya, when Arya jumps up to the tree and jumps again to another tree because Drago destroyed the tree she was standing on.

Despite how beautiful and mature she looks, she has the worst personality between us. Did the church send us a healer or a Devil?

I carefully placed a cloaking spell around the warp device called Obelisk.Despite the unsavory looks, a small baby-like statue with no gem or any accessory with many rune scribes on every surface of it. This device is an important item for every adventuring team for the dungeon raid. It is a life saving device to teleport all team personnel back to the obelisk spot.

“Hans, have you set up the obelisk”

“just need more.. a little tweak aaand yeap its working”

Joko nodded a little than turning his head look at Others

“Everyone please organize all your status checks on your spell and equipment. This is our last checkpoint before we go inside. As u all know inside uncharted dungeon was very dangerous and we might not have the time to organize our stats”

ah yeah i almost forgot, on our journey we were facing a lot of Trolls, Goblins and some Twisted Beasts, i got level up from that… I mumble “status” looking up at a transparent blue panel..

I need to add all my free stats to Vitality… I neglected my Vitality for so long and depended too much on my support skill to survive. Light illusion and light camouflage were good skill to hide and trick my enemies, but not all my enemies can be fooled. Just in case I need to increase my vitality to become more durable.

I still have 1 blank skill list, Creation has given me choices but i still undecided which one.

Through fire and light you summon chains that slow and blinding your enemies for 30 seconds. The fire itself will damage your enemies depending on the enemies fire resistance. For Grade I, Chain only affects 1 enemy.

an area of effect skill that surrounds your enemies. This Skill summoned three spikes illuminated with light. It stopped your opponent's move, to a certain degree depending on your opponent's might and resistance. For Grade I, The stake area around 5 meters.

Through Light you can move all your party to another light source you choose. it has a certain rule, the other light source distance is not more than 1 km. The Caster must channel for 1,5 minute. For Grade I it only teleports for 4 people.

I have been contemplating these skills. Stake of light and Flame shine chain has the same purpose to disrupt an opponent's move while Light mass teleports for safety purposes. i have not skill to disrupt except for the flame wall. For light mass teleportation, we already had an obelisk teleporter…

but for some reason my gut feels that the mass teleport skill is better. For all my life I never doubted my gut, so I selected the skill.

I just hope that once my gut is wrong, if a situation happens to using this skill then it must be very dangerous.

I Look at others still looking intensely on their own status. I started to cast my auxiliary skills..

“Mana shield, Flame Augment”

Familiar warm feelings envelop my body, Flame Augment increases my durability,speed and fire resistance while Mana Shield protects my body with any physical contact.

Joko started to walk right in the front of the dungeon cave and looked at all of us.

“Everyone please gather”

Arya rolls her eyes and groans..

“OOhhh here we go again.. can we not do this.. it is embarrassing and we are not a noob team anymore”

Drago dragged his feet and squinted his eyes..

“Shut up Arrry, but i agree,, it is embarrassing”

Asuka prancing around to Joko happily with curious eyes..

“Neeee Neee What we doing?? some sort of ritual?”

“Hahaha been long we do it haven’t we??”

“Yes Hans, I promise doing this ONLY in very dangerous mission and i deem this mission is dangerous”

“Yes it is.. C'mon guys”

while everyone looked forced to say that excluding Joko, he was obsessed with the “Yell” he made. truthfully, i kinda like almost all the lines except the last part. The god of war, the least god I like. Too much bravado for my taste. Oh it seems asuka like it but knowing her, what She “likes” is skewed from a normal one.

“Asuka started the skill “Chain Link” on us, so we could coordinate with our mind faster. Arya tries to blend with the area, don’t help us if not necessary. I want you to become our hidden knife for any higher grade monster.”

“As you wish, Joko”

“So The surprise, Arya at your back motherfucker strategy , i know the drill captain!”

“Inside there will be a lot of Trolls variants, They mostly have a high regeneration so try to aim their hearth first ,second their eyes. They are a bit dumb, when they lose sight they will be panic and hitting anything near it. Hans, try to Thrifty with mana, use only support and illusion spells, i want the big fire later at boss room.”

i nod my head and smile

“aye - aye, Captain”

I am proud of him, I have been with Joko for almost 20 years. I saw him from a young spirited kid, a bit naive I might add, to become a seasoned veteran leader, always meticulous with plans and always keeping his nerve calm.

Joko smiles back at his old friend and they start to delve into the dungeon.

“In their defense, You were not very close with them, they are very dangerous in close combat, their strength was not a joke.”

Joko squinting his eyes and pinching his nose looking at the pathway..

“Well, I'm trying to find a reason for this…”

Drago lift his big ass cleaver and stare at Joko smugly

“Let it go Joko, Not all things have a reason to happen. it's just it!! i guess hahahahahahahha”

Arya smile start walking slowly behind joko

“For once, I absolutely agree with our dear friend here. Not all things have an explanation to happen. Dumb is Dumb”

Suspiciously, Arya walking with her finger moving left and right explained vigorously. like a seasoned lecturer in Universiti Magicka.

“as to happen our own tanker here, is a thing that is hard to explain!”

“HAHAHAHAHA Arrry for once you are not an irritating vixen! Yes behold Me!! I am The edigma that can't be explained hahaha”

Joko stare at them and sigh… he start walking to inspect the path in front..

I start to sigh and look at Drago correcting something

“It is called Enigma Drago… at least you”

“Nonsense!!!! Hans, Drago is right. Only change the G with ck Drago, you were not all that wrong!! and you must boast this to others back in the Frontier!!! how Edickma you were.”

I for once can't say anything. should have known this priest was a devil….

“I wash my hands on this”

I start walking following Joko…

“Asuka, that's a great idea!!!! I will!! you were so kind to this brute hahahahahahha”

Drago patted Asuka back and started walking…

Arya squinting her eyes and with her poker smile look at Asuka

“You are one scary lady… i don't know if i worship or run from you but i clearly not want to become your enemy”

“Oh Arya you are far from my enemies, you and Drago are my favorites!!”

For some reason I doubt that are better,,,

“Guys!!! stop bickering and start to check your equipment, potions and spells. we are almost at the boss room!”

In the Deepest room of the dungeon the ground starts to shake and some of the stones fall and destroy the arcane rune in the wall… This situation starts a sequence in motion canceling the hidden pocket dimension to materealize. A simple room decorated in black stone, there is not even a crack on all sides of the wall. all so seamlessly. and in the middle lay a beautiful small girl with long red hair unmoving. But not a second later her chest started to move…
