Goldie: I am not jealous!

Malachi: Say whatever you want Goldalia but I know the real you.

Malachi walked off to the elemental magic classroom.

Goldie rolled her eyes and sighed.

Goldie: Werewolves. I told you since we were kids Malachi! My name is Goldie not Goldalia! Oh no! I'm going to be late to elixirs! Ms. Rubee is gonna kill me!

In Ms. Rubee's Elixirs class

Goldie: It's almost been 40 minutes! Why haven't Kai come back yet!

Ember: You look madder than normal.

Goldie: Shut. Up. Ember.

Ember: What's the matter? Werewolf boy trouble again?

Goldie: It's really none of your business.

Ember: I'm just trying to help a fellow vampire out.

Ember: First it was Malachi, then it was Kai and now it's the new girl who you don't even know.

Ms. Rubee: Valentina. Shuel! Stop arguing for 1 minute and pay attention! Shuel remind the class what is needed for an elixir of understanding.

Ember: Uh...

Goldie: Ms. Rubee that would be 2 drops of vanilla extract, 1 drop of bittersweet lemon juice, 1 drop of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of ground Cockatrice scales and 1 teaspoon of Pegasus hair. Easy.

Ms. Rubee: Correct Goldie, again. Care to mix the concoction for us?

Ember: Nerd.

She scoffs under her breath

Goldie: Watch it!

She says quietly looking at Ember.

Goldie got up from her seat and mixed the extract, lemon juice, vinegar, Cockatrice scales and Pegasus hair into the large pot making the elixir and went back to her seat.

When she sat back down she used magic to set a book that was on Ember's desk on black fire.

Ember: Hey! No magic! I was going to read that!

Goldie: 1, you're supposed to look at the textbook and 2, the flames aren't even that big this time!

Goldie clicked her tongue.

Goldie: How many times do I have to tell you! You have shapeshifting magic! Just because you can morf yourself to look like a Vampire does not make you one!

She said rolling her eyes putting her legs on the desk deep down knowing that Ember was right.

Meanwhile with Lilith and Kai

The two of them were walking all around the school with Kai leading and Lilith following behind then Kai stops at the main entrance hall.

Lilith: *pant pant*

Kai: Ok so first on the to-do list is... classes. Let's go to the central office.

Lilith: I thought *gasp* we *gasp* passed it *gasp* already.

Kai: What? No, no I was getting you familiar with some of the school grounds. The main office is that building outside.

He said pointing to the white building outside from the window.

Lilith: I've walked Lord Skell's castle before and I've never gotten this tired but this... this is something else

Kai: Hm? Are you tired? I know this is a lot for a new student. I can carry you on my back until we reach the main office.

Lilith looked surprised.

Lilith: Don't you think creatures with find it weird a guy carrying a girl on his back. Creatures already gave me weird looks already.

She said to Kai mumbling the last part.

Kai: Don't worry. There's no such thing as weird in this school. You'll see a Centaur and a Naga interact like it's the most normal thing in the world.

Lilith: I guess I haven't seen this many creatures in the hallways in Semir. Most creatures come from an evil background.

Kai: Come on I insist. I'm stronger than I look.

Lilith: I wasn't implying that you're weak.

She said quietly.

Kai: Good!

He said with a smile. Oblivious to Lilith's comment.

Kai: Trust me. I promise I won't let you fall.

He said with his signature smile.

Lilith: He needs to stop smiling like that. Ok fine. But if you fall down its not my fault.

Lilith carefully on Kai's back. Kai lifted Lilith up.

Lilith: A-are you really sure about this! I might be heavy!

Kai: You're fine.

At the Main Office

Kai gently put down Lilith

Kai: We're here!

He said with his usual smile

Lilith: I can't do this! What do I say?

Kai: Are you seriously nervous? Aren't you like warrior, mercenary, thief or something?

Lilith: Well that's different, you get the job done and it's all business. And I'm no warrior. Let's just get this over with.

Kai: And the attitude is back. Alrighty then, let me lead the conversation. You don't seem great with communication.

Lilith: I'm good with confrontation.

Lilith followed Kai in the office greeted by many creatures. The woman at the front desk greeted the two with a warm smile.

Kai: Good to see you Ms. Manerva.

Manerva: Kai! How lovely to see you again! What brings you here? Are you here to see Ms-

Kai: No I'm not. I'm here to fill out the dorm form.

Manerva: Ah yes of course. Just fill out this form and you can head on back to class. I'm assuming you're here for the same thing?

She slid the forms over to the both of them. After Kai was filling out his form the women spoke.

Manerva: Lilith I'd like you to stay here for a moment. We have some information to discuss. Kai you're free to go back to class.

Kai went on back to class while Lilith stayed in the office.
