PART 6
A few hours earlier in Brunne, the renowned arts university in Sainte-Coline. Outside one of its many historic gates, Nasai and her friends were saying their goodbyes.
“Are you training today?” Anna asked, worried about her friend.
“Just a little,” Nasai replied with a sweet smile.
“You practice every day. You should take a break,” Adrianna warned while wiping the fog from her glasses caused by the sudden temperature change.
Anna, Adrianna, and Nasai had been friends since childhood. Ever since they met, the three had been inseparable. Although their personalities couldn’t be more different, their bond was tight and full of trust.
Anna was voluptuous, with sensual feline curves. Her blonde hair complemented her blue eyes, and although she sometimes felt she carried a few extra pounds, she never undervalued herself. Quite the opposite, she had no reservations about showing off her spectacularly sculpted body. Being extroverted by nature, she never thought before speaking, which often got her into countless problems. But thanks to Adrianna, her “conscience,” she avoided getting into more trouble than necessary.
In contrast, Adrianna was completely different from her beloved blonde friend. With light brown eyes and chestnut hair, her style was practical and comfortable. Her large glasses covered most of her small heart-shaped face, and her plump lips were eternally chapped from the cold. She and Nasai were the voices of reason, though Adrianna was less serious and more approachable than Nasai.
“Remember, you’re very delicate,” Anna said, pinching Nasai’s cheek as if she were a child.
“I won’t stay too long, don’t worry,” Nasai responded, trying to remove her hand.
“Okay, we trust you. See you later,” Adrianna called out as she dragged Anna away, who wasn’t ready to leave Nasai, while the latter smiled, unable to believe the situation.

Dusk was falling, and the streets of Elise began to light up with lamps illuminating every corner. People, more relaxed, were looking for a place to have dinner. The hustle and bustle outside was imperceptible inside “Café et Sucre.” Only the comings and goings of Carol, cleaning the room and trying to make as little noise as possible, could be heard.
The two young people were sitting in a corner. Vincent with his typical charm and Yuna hiding her hands, nervously rubbing them together, trying to make sure the handsome man sitting in front of her didn’t notice her anxiety. The tension in the air was palpable. “Why does this man make me feel this way?” the young woman wondered, restless.
“I don’t think I’m the right person for your agency,” Yuna replied, trying to relax without making eye contact.
“You have the qualities we’re currently looking for,” Vincent insisted, calmly and gently.
“Thank you, but I’m not interested.”
“Could you at least think about it?” he asked, extending his business card with one hand.
The young man seemed determined to achieve his goal, but all Yuna wanted was for him to disappear. A torrent of emotions was tugging at her, making it impossible for her to think clearly.
“Yes… sure,” she replied, taking the card, hoping he would leave as soon as possible.
Vincent could sense the turmoil within her. He realized that it wasn’t the right time to enter her life. So, he stood up, gave a distinguished bow, and smiled gallantly. Yuna’s heart skipped a beat, and she slightly lowered her head as the young man left the café, trying to hide the blush rising on her cheeks.
“What on earth is happening to me?” Yuna wondered, covering her face in embarrassment as a wave of warmth surged through her body.
“What’s wrong with you? You’re as red as a tomato...” Carol asked, appearing suddenly at the table where Yuna was sitting. “I know he’s smoking hot, but it’s not like you should be soaking your underwear, girl.”
Yuna shot her friend a murderous look. “Okay, we’d all soak a truckload of underwear.”
“Oh, Carol! You’re always the same!”
“No, seriously now. You can’t let this opportunity slip by,” Carol said, her tone turning more serious as she took her friend’s hands.
“You think so…?” Yuna replied, raising an eyebrow hesitantly.
