The large humanoid bat like demon shoots its tongue out like a chameleon at David before it's tongue can reach David it is blasted off by a arrow made of light a feminine voice is heard “Not so fast” David lifts his head to look to see who stopped the attack a blonde girl with pale skin and green eyes wearing a crop top denim jacket a black T-shirt jeans and light brown boots David knew who she was Laura Annalise the large demon charges at her and screeches “how dare you interrupt my meal” David leaves the crater he's in and yells at the demon “hey isn't it me you wanted?” The demon freezes surprised that David is still alive after his punch and turns to look at David confused and then it is hit in the shoulder by another arrow of light by Laura and it roars in pain as David charges at it and delivers a powerful kick coated in flames to it dome green blood coming from its nose as five more of Laura's arrows pierces its body finishing it off, it's energy leaves its body and enters David, Laura looks confused by this but quickly shakes It off and than walks towards David and speaks “Your David yas” David replys “I am we share a few classes if I remember correctly un what was your name” he starches the back of his head Laura pouts and gives a response “I am Laura and you've known about the supernatural for a far amount of time haven't you” David goss deep into thought to a few years back a young five year old David holds a small hatchet as his father stands in front of him a bald man with a shiny head with a stoic Stern look he has dark tan skin wearing a priest’s uniform his eyes are gold as the castles of heaven he has a shotgun with golden carvings resting on his shoulder as a demon is under his foot it's squirms and growls his father speaks in a deep and firm voice “finish it” the young boy hesitates for a bit but follows the orders of his father as he brings the hatchet down Laura speaks “So are you going to answer me” her voice brings David from his deep thoughts as he replies “oh yes I have” Laura sees the darkened look on Davids face but minds her business and speaks “Well I'm not surprised seeing that you survived that things punch and jumped nearly 10 ft in the air to kick it in the chin” David blushes embroidered by her bluntness and speaks “Well when you put it like that it's kind of obvious” he fidgets his hands a bit and speaks again “Dose this type of thing happen to you often” Laura grins and replies “Not with ones as big as he was I've only seen and dealt with the fodder sized ones, anyways you want me to walk you home you must be quite shaken by that encounter” David just nods.

Later at the the corpse of the humanoid bat like demon a flock of monkey faced demons with pterosaur bodies land near the carcass that's being swarmed by demonic mites the small demons sniff near the body and howl into the night sky and flap their wings flying away a invisible flying object sees them and snatches one up inside it computers and monitors can be seen doing hundreds maybe millions of calculations as three gray figures lay at chairs with humanoid bodies but gray skin and bulbous heads with large black eyes one of them speaks The voice like a croak of a frog and like a echo in the mind “the scanners have picked up at demon” another looks at them questionaly and speaks “why would we need a demon what's different about this one that it could help our research” his question is answered quickly and deliberately “the scans say it's nostrils have picked up a high level of spiritual energy” the third one speaks “setting ship to be stationary we might have found our missing subject” outside the saucer like object in the town a young man looks up at it he wears a black hood and dark blue jeans he speaks to himself “have they found me” tomorrow at school David is walking tired from the events of last night the battle clear in his memory he then sees a younger frail looking boy walking besides him Jason a paranoid secretive young man who wears a large black hoodie and dark blue jeans David shouts surprised “Oh mits I didn't see you there” Jason speaks his voice quiet and tired “As oblivious as ever I see Dave” David replies quickly “don't call me that” Jason grins David suddenly gets slapped in the back of the head by Laura who was walking by David speaks irritatedly as he grabs the back of his head “What hell was that for Laura” Laura reponds playfully “Well you looked tired so I wanted to give you a quick awaking anyways speak with me after school see ya later David” she sprint's off in a hurry Jason smirks mischievously and speaks “so when did you two get so close” Dived replies still irritated about the smack to the noggin “None of your business, just some stuff happened last night” Jason speaks “ooh like” David yells “Not like that get your brain out of the sewer drain I'm leaving” Jason speaks to himself “what a jerk I was just playing around” after school in dark secluded spot David arrives with Laura and speaks “so what did you want to talk about” Laura expression goes serious as she speaks “well you know about that big ol demon that attacked you the other day” David responds “Yeah what about it” Laura speaks “will demons around that size are becoming more and more common around town and it's getting harder and harder dealing with them for me and my sister and I'm asking for your help as you seem to be kind of competent with dealing with demons” David thinks to himself for a moment before replying “alright sounds fun” Laura looks shocked and confused before speaking “really you'll help” David smirks as he speaks “I already said yes didn't I” Laura smiles and thanks him “thank you so much I really need the help” a voice suddenly heard “so this is your meeting spot David” David looks at who has arrived it's Jason and David speaks “it's just you” Jason speaks “Anyways would you and your girl like to hangout” David replies irritated “She’s not my girl but fine I'll join I don't know about her though” Laura blushes from the insinuation but nods and agrees to join “I'll join you two”.
