Ever felt like you are missing something in life?  Rian has almost anything a man can ask for in his life, a loving family, a good school life, friends. But he always felt the need for something more... magical. He didn't want to stay ordinary but life doesn't always gives you what you want, and in a world with no magic or anything extraordinary, all he could do was live his life till he got bored or died. He didn't just want to study, go to college, get a job, go into housing debt, get married, have kids who will mostly be ungrateful for his efforts, scrape by to pay the debts, get a car and go more into debt, pay the schooling for the kids, grow older, regret raising your disobedient children, retire, and then just wait to die. I mean what can you even do after 60?! But fate had other plans.  Summoned in the tower of trials, he vowed to himself that he would not just survive, he will thrive.
