we have been standing on the staircase from the past 15 minutes, no one having the guts to go upstairs.

"guys, i guess we should leave " i spoke trying to convince the two to leave this crusty house.

Arwan turned to look at me.

"what are we gonna tell them that we ran out of the house because we heard a noise?, come on valeska,, stop acting like a coward."

' i widen my eyes at the insult.

"me? a coward?, are you even hearing yourself?" i walked closer to him staring straight into his eyes." i am not a coward i just really want to live you know? i love my life....and i am leaving! " i spoke and walked downstairs.

"lily you are coming?" i looked at lily who was standing there all the time hearing me and arwan argue.

"uh,yeah" she walked over to me and i stared at arwan who glared at me.

me and lily stood there for a moment before walking out of the house.

*next morning*

the cold water slid down my body as i rinsed my hair,my gaze unintentionally went towards the mirror.

looking at myself in the mirror for a moment before a shadow flickered behind me in the mirror then disappeared, i quickly turned around but only seeing a blank white wall.

"i am going insane." sighing i finished showering and changed.

after last night i didnt talk to Arwan or Lily i still very mad about how Arwan talked to me yesterday.

i was just concerned and he would call me a coward?

a scoff left my mouth.

"bastard!" i whispered to myself.

a knock on my door distracted me....my heart raced and chills ran down my spine....who is there?.....how are they here?.....i live alone.
