I ran as I fast as my body could take. Those new creatures chasing me, the only choice I had was to run. I decided that about an hour ago. But I’m still running. Every minute or so jumping away from lava craters in the obsidian ground. You are probably wondering what’s going on. So I’m going to back up a little. It was an average day in Minecraft, the block like sun shining, your dog barking, and obviously the sound of a creeper blowing up. Sounds pretty normal so far right? Well you are about to be in for a surprise. That day was far from normal. It all began when the beautiful Minecraft sun disappeared. A wandering trader passing by my house looked up in shock. Then, a voice rumbled. It was so loud that the whole universe (Including the Nether and End) heard it.
“Hello citizens of this universe. This is probably a shock for you. To answer what most of you are thinking, yes it is now going to be night forever. No daylight. and yes I can read minds. I wanted to start with my name, but your shock levels seemed quite high for a regular villager heart, so I tried to explain a little bit. My name is Vulcanite and I am your new master. You either obey me or you die. It’s very simple. The areas that fully trust and obey me will not be harmed. The ones that despise me will perish. You have 24 hours from now to decide what to do. It’s your choice. I hope you choose the right one.” What in the nether is going on?! I immediately searched for the disconnect button. It just wasn’t there. I was starting to become terrified. What should I do? I was torn between obeying this evil dictator or to openly try to stop him. Which would 99% get me killed. What would happen to me in the real world if I chose that path? I decided to stay in my house until I figure things out. My dog, Loki, was very excited by my choice. He ran towards me and barked happily. “I am happy you are here too Loki”, I smiled and scratched the cute doggie’s chin. He barked again.

24 Hours Later
“Hello again people of the three dimensions. There are a few updates that you should all hear. Firstly, in the Overworld, monsters will now be spawning. Beware, these are not normal mobs. These are volcanic mobs, meaning they are much stronger, faster and harder to kill. The spawn rate for the mobs are tweaked so they will spawn more often than normal. These will only attack people who disobey me. So if you follow my orders and accept them you are safe from the mobs. Secondly, in the Overworld again, all blocks will be transformed into obsidian and lava craters. And I mean all blocks. If you follow me you will be safe and your house won’t turn into lava and obsidian. If you don’t follow me or you haven’t decided yet, your fate is going to be very bad. You have five seconds everyone.” 5… 4… He probably means the ground doesn’t he? 3… I really hope he does mean the ground 2… I really should get away from the house shouldn’t i? 1…
I ran to the door, pushed it open at the last second. 0 I got out. What my house was before was no match for what it looked like now. Most of the walls turned to obsidian, and some single blocks turned into lava. I stood outside watching my house filling with lava. Then I heard barks. Pained barks. Loki! I looked at the spot I exited from. The doors were now obsidian doors. I didn’t know that was a thing. I tried pushing them, but they were too heavy. I was getting tired, but I kept on, the barks fueling me, telling me I cannot give up. I moved backwards and ran as fast as I could at the doors. Something moved. But it wasn’t the doors. I looked at my arm and saw it was limping uselessly, looking more like a wet towel than an arm. Then pain came. And it hit hard. I fell down on the hard obsidian floor, crying. After a few minutes I stopped and realized that I couldn’t hear barks anymore. The tears came back.
