[The City of the Beginning – Human Kingdom of Ragrl]

The crowd of the market near the plaza can be heard, the people walking while chattering carelessly around. The stall’s vendors selling their products with lively and proactive ways, all were trying to attract more customer than the stall next door.

The Kingdom of Human, Ragrl is just as lively as it could ever be. The citizens live peacefully under the protection of the Human King and its Order of Armies.

And yet the lively vibe of the city didn’t affect all of the citizens as a man was standing still; seem a bit lost about what actually happened.

The man was born 30 minutes ago, and before that he just a consciousness floating around in the empty space. After being unconscious for a few moments, he found himself standing in the middle of the plaza. He was shocked to see his own reflection at the fountain; he tried to measure his own body and doing some little exercise like push up and jumping. Of course the people around him laughed seeing just how weird it is to see someone actually do that in the middle of crowded plaza. The man was overwhelmed by the fact that he even can speak now and his voice can be heard just well, but he turned quiet as he remembered something. He slowly waved his hand; an invisible panel appeared from nowhere.

“I’m… Nasta”

He opened his eyes and the scenery greeted him once again, now he paid more attention to his surroundings. Tall buildings, bricked paved road and a fountain…

“Classic” He murmured as he keep staring to the things around him. People walking around freely, he then notices that some of the people around him actually wearing armor and carrying weapon around. His eyes grow big and he decided to follow a group of people

Their group consists of five people, four men and a woman. Based on his assessment, the four men are respectively a Soldier, a Knight, a Monk and a Hunter. The woman seemed to be a Cleric. They talked about random stuff as they walked toward a huge gate, the man who seemed to be a Knight then greeted the Guards and showing certain documents, after a brief moment the group was allowed to pass the gate.

Nasta slowly tried to imitate them, he walked toward the gate and casually greeted the Guards. But he was stopped as he made his way beyond the gate.

“And who shall you be?” asked the Guard

“…”

“You are not allowed to go through the gate, your level is not sufficient enough to handle the monster outside! You need to train yourself first at the [Training Centre] or you can also doing some minor quest around the city” said the NPC Guard in monotonic tone as he measured Nasta from top to toe

“I..I…”

“Yeah? Anything I can help you with?”

“I’m a porter NPC the party just now used my service…”

“…!!!” the Guard panicked, he pull Nasta closer, after some moment he grinned “Why don’t you say so? Hurry up and make sure you do your job properly!” he stepped aside and calling the man posted above the gate, Nasta looked very nervous as he went through the gate.

“How easy” Nasta chuckled before he dashed to find the party from earlier, he was quite far from the gate when the Guard gathered.

“Are you sure? To let a newbs to venture out of the city… we might get punished” ask a Guard to the Guard who talked to Nasta, the Guard in question was smirking eerily.

“Just let him be… either he is awesomely reckless or he was [Reincarnated] player” he laughed

“….” His fellow guards just let out big sigh.

“Where are they?” Nasta panting, he already looking for the party for about an hour. He ventured past the plain area and now entering the [Fradlust Forest]. He walked lazily when he suddenly heard sound of a battle nearby, he quickly hide himself among the bushes and quietly crawl to the source of the sound.

In front of him,  the party he saw earlier is fighting against a swarm of [Insect] type monster. The party is holding just fine since they seem to collaborating well and fully balanced, either the offensive members and the support members all working in sync and just in a short amount of time the party emerge triumphant against the enemies. They are resting and casually chatting to one another about the enemies they just slain, Nasta was curious and tried to get closer he crawled carefully toward the place where the party resting.

All of a sudden a loud noise can be heard, he turned and saw a [Black Maned Boar] behind him. He was unaware that the monster been tailing him, scared and panicked Nasta jumped and dashed away. Fortunately he run to the opposite of the place where the party rested, he took a glance to them and he realized they now caught his presence because of all the ruckus.

The [Black Maned Boar] charged at him, its tusks almost thrust his back while its tried to run over him. Nasta’s face turned pale because of fear, he run as fast as he could when suddenly he saw something in his [Vision Field]

“What? The heck is this?” he was confused seeing the letter appearing in his [Vision Field]

“Guaaaa~!!” The Boar Charged, this time its tusks hit Nasta, he suffer great damage from the impact and he thrown out to the air, he landed on a stone which inflict additional damage to his body. He shivered, he tried to stand up but he couldn’t, he looked at his HP bar which almost depleted empty. He tried to climb the stone but his hand bend to wrong direction and he’s truly exhausted.

“Will I die so soon? I should’ve read the user manual” Nasta sighed, he closed his eyes.

“Guaaa~~” the Boar let out a loud scream and turned quiet, Nasta thought he was about to see the [Astral Realm] so soon.

But he still heard his heart beating, he still touched the warm ground below him. He slowly opened his eyes

“Sup!” a tall figure stood before him with bloody fist, its bare its fangs to him and reached its furry. Nasta was in awe as he look to his savior.

A male demi-human resembling a lion grinning from ear to ear in front of beaten Nasta, this ‘person’ is his savior.
