... it had now been about 6 months since bob camped out here at this ghost wizards tomb. He was still no closer to completing the task at hand, atleast there was fredh water and nuts and berries so he didnt starve to death.
... he could probably get the wand wood, he hoped was wand wood but a core where was hee to get that. He hadnt seen any magical creatures other than the bowtruckle and the nifflers.
.... He couldnt bring himself to kill the litte niffler she was to cute and playfull and gramps could kill him with a fart. No wonder nifflers were xx creatures if they grew that big.
.....Also how was he supposed to fuse them he still couldnt use magic, he have expected himself to be a squib or straight up muggle.
..... Pop. Gramps showed up right beside him. Hey kid whats got you down in the dumps asked gramps.
... well to tell the truth, im know closer to figurin out how to make this wand than i am about knowing if im muggle or a wizard said bob.
... gramps chuckled. Well kid i am pretty sure you sint muggle as you called it. This perked up bob a bit.
.... how do you know that gramps. Well its simple really, the way you interact with my granddaughter and the little twig over there. Most magic creatures dont like muggles you see so they naturally avoid them.
.... ohh said bob a little discouraged. Is it the same for squibs asked bob. Gramps sighed a bit. Unfortunately no, squibs dont quite have the same reaction with us magic creatures. You see many of them have magic but its to low to use or some other wierd issue said gramps.
... this tid bit did not make bob feel any better. Gramps seemed to sense this and continued.
.... my opinion is your a wizard just of a low tiear, and since your parents couldnt aid you in developing your magic talent it may just be dormant.
.... this perked bob up. But how ami to get a wand made sir, i could take a branch now, im friendly with the bowtruckle now. But i imagine wands are best made fresh, and where am i to co.e up with a magic core sir.
.... gramps chuckled, i could het you in yhe old mans tomb there might be some in stasis there.

.... bob thought about it for a minute. Thanks sir but the ghost wizard hasnt crossed me and i dont think it be nice to steel from him.
.... gramps was suprised many wizards, and muggles would steal at the drop of a hat. Well if you do me a favor, bound by magic o can help with it just pick your wand wood and ill take care of the other 2 things said gramps.
.... whats this favor you need from me gramps. Its simple really replied gramps. Im old you see as old as britain. My life span has been kept up to keep tabs on my descendants by hibernation and magic stasis. So as you see, if you would look after my last descendant i could move on in peace.
.... bob thought about it for a bit. He did rather like the little niffler. She was a heap of trouble though. But in the end he decided itd be a fair trade, magic for a favor.
..... understood gramps what do you need me to do, have you heard of an unbreakable vow. Bob swallowed hard.Umm yes sir, magically bunding contract between 2 parties, if violated causes death.
.... haha gramps chuckled suprising you would know about that then we'll get on with it. Hold out your arm boy, ill initiate it. Prick bob felt a sharp pain as gramps clawed at him.
... dont panic boy, im just macing sure the magic can go through. Ok gramps i trust you. Then bob saw a drop of blood come from gramps it looked really shiny.
.... as the blood merged with bob bob felt wierd, as if something deep in him finally woke up.
.... haha knew it you aint no squib , that would be your magic waking up boy. Now and here comes your end of the deal, a bowtruckle brought over a willow branch about 9 and a half inches long.
... it seemed to no to come. Thsnks little fellow said bob. It nodded and went back.
.... now to complete the unbreakable vow. Do you bob schmidt swear to care for and protect the last of my offspring descendants. I do.
.... a silvery light shone from within bob. He could feel the absoluteness of the deal and knew if he violated it hed die. It was auite terrifying.
.. now for my end boy. I willingly allow my heart and magic essence to flow into the wand and become its core.
.... bob was in tears he now knew the true cost of making his wand. Do you accept boy ... i do came barely audible as he could see the creatures very lifeforce waining. Being sucked into his wand.
... when the bulk of gramps flow had ceased, a bit of energy flowed from bob as well. Closing in gramps energy with a magic seal.
... pop this was when the little nifgler came over she sensed something was wrong. It started crying and bob just held it.
.... woosh this is good to see came a familiar voice. Both were startled , gramps. Are are you a ghost now said bob still crying.
.... haha, no boy but its similar, im simply a bit of an after thought, before i fully cross over. Mske sure to take good care of my granddaughter boy you know the consequences of failure.
... yes sir and even the little niffler seemed to cheer up and nod at gramps. They then both fell asleep under the willow.
..... .... ....
... what have you done came an angry ghosts scowling. He was not supposed to succeed in a wand making, certainly not in the ancient way.
.... so you had no intention of helping the boy asked gramps skepticaly.
... not entirely, but what good does it do to vassel a wizarding line to a desceased wizard line, i must now take him in.
.... gramps chuckled. Isnt it time for you to move on as well, you dont have to stay. Leave the consequences for the new generations to straighten out.
... very well after i straighten it out i will move on judt to irritate you, after all death is but the next great adventure. They both laughed, and gramps faded, ill be waitin old man....
