I stumbled and struggled dodging the dark chaos that lay amongst the top side. I had to avoid going to low they had those wretched snap plants that paralyze and mind control others. The bodies never we the same, they normally left naked with this disgusting thick yellow liquid in them, and they always aided the aliens afterwards. My quirk was tired and giving out. I'd barely managed to escape the aliens back in America, the last place that those in the resistance could go was America, Charlie believed that I could make it to there if no one else and sent me with all of the tech and info. I just had to get to the Japanese base of resistance. I couldn't go to high they had air craft patrolling for humans who'd managed to get away. I crashed to the ground after passing the barrier of those snap plants. 

I kept running using the shadows to my advantage. It was in sight and i made it in safely. I knocked on the door when I looked down. I had a baby snap plant on me. I took my hands and burned it off and then I burned the whole the baby ones liked to lay eggs and stuff in people and the person would go insane for the aliens. I threw the creature across the room just as the darkness and my pain finally won out and I fell unconscious shielding the tech from anyone.  

Bakugou's pov: 

I left to do a patrol around the neighborhood in hopes of finding some resources we needed something when I found a girl no older then me at the doorstep. I turned her on her side and saw that she had on the American resistance symbol. No, no, no! Fuck, don't tell me they've fallen. I check her over with the monitor and it shows she's alive and human. I looked at what she was cradling and it was tech, her bag was full of seeds and resources as well. I picked her up and carried her inside. People bowed but it was honestly fucking sicking they were looking at us as though we were saints. Deku came over confused I held up her jacket and his eyes watered before motioning to get her towards one of the healing stations. Aizawa looked the girl over. 

" Irina Rune the second in command of the American Resistance, Charlie sent over a video saying he was infected and that he'd killed a lot of the people there, he sent it via email and I cleared his whole email and list already. She's a long way from home, bring her over here, Momo, you're needed over this way." Aizawa called out. 

I laid her down on the bed and she groaned, apparently she'd gone unconscious but probably due to quirk exhaustion, the adrenaline was probably the only thing keeping her up before she arrived. Surprisingly she'd had an extremely firm grip on the tech to the point we decided you'd probably have to smash her hand and risk destroying the tech to get it. Momo came in and began working on her wounds which were quite a few. Recovery Girl followed. 

" I'm here on behal-" She whispered out to me as I was probably the only person she could see. 

" We know already, Rune, you can just rest, you've gotten to point B safely." I whispered. I'd grown much more sympathetic and calmer in the past few months of this invasion. She looked at me wearily as I showed her my badge of appointment. Aizawa came in and I gave him a confused look. 

" They have mind control plants and pollen there." He shared walking over and tapping his electric bracelet against her bracelet. She gave it to me after that.

" Safety checkers, the tech design is in here, did you manage to save your mechanic?" Aizawa asked her and she look away shaking her head no. 

" Irina you did good, you completed your assignment, I know you must have seen some horrific things you're more then welcome to just rest for a while." 

" No, I want to help, the other shelters, we were the last in the America's both North and South. Africa has fallen, Australia stood no chance, this is probably one of the last if not the last resistance base in the world." I was shocked. 

" Did you hear anything about their side?" Aizawa asked tiredly. 

" When they went to kill Charlie for treason and killing the person would have talked, they mentioned a safe here in Japan, it's supposedly at some placed called UA, they shared that they were actually holding people who naturally adapted to be resistant of the cure there. They then went on to say it's their tech strong hold." 

" You've been really helpful kid, take it easy, Bakugou you're in charge of this one person can you handle that?" Aizawa questioned I nodded. Momo and Recovery girl winced at the same time. 

" What's wrong?" I asked trying to look, only to find her leg had a deep burn an ugly color. 

" How are you alive? Genuine question, because there is no way anyone with a dislocated arm, burned up leg, major head wound, and a scrape all the way across their stomach to the point of bleeding should be alive." 

" Well, I grew up in the South." Irina said as if that solved it all. 

" Basically meaning the dislocated arm, head wound, and scrapes don't really hurt her." Aizawa said and I looked at her. Everyone filed in. Todoroki held bags of food, it was better then nothing, Deku had water, which we were grateful for, Iida was with Uraraka and Tsu all of which had gear, bedding, and some health supplies, Kaminari, Mina, Kirishima, and Sero all had managed to find some clothes, food, and water, Jirou, Ojiro, and Koda had meat and seasonings. 

" We strike tomorrow, we need to take back this city, and find some type of cure or part time solution." Irina grabbed my hand and I turned as she undid her necklace it held a view vials of liquid. 

" What's this?" I questioned softly she tapped her throat, I bet her throat did hurt with the stab wound that lay over her vocals. I leaned in. 

" Cures, they were the ones I made before leaving the States." I nodded. 

" What is it?" Aizawa asked. 

" Cures, she made them before leaving the states." They all turned to Irina. 

" Have you tested them." Irina nodded and held up both hands. " On multiple occasions or people." Irina held up one. Aizawa looked at them. There wasn't enough here, only 10, I assume she's already taken one. She tugged on my sleeve. I leaned in. 

" There is more in my bag, along with the formula." I nodded. 

" You need to rest so you can heal." 

" She'll take weeks to be fully healed." Recovery girl said. Irina pulled me to her. 

" I just need a lot of energy and I can heal myself." She managed. I looked at dunce face. 

" What do you have left to do today?" 

" I need to take my daily rest time." 

" Come on you're going to use those last remaining brain cells." I shared and he was confused as Irina grabbed his hand and he went full power as she took it in and I watched in awe as her whole body seemed to glow before deeming and she was all healed. Kaminari was surprisingly fine. 

" Wow, that was nice, very nice, uhm I need to go take a nap." Kaminari rushed out and to go sleep he does love his naps a lot. She got up and left with Aizawa to get some work done.
