The battle of the century was happening at this moment.

The characters from Maruto and Nleach was fighting each other to death in this 20 year anniversary that showcased all the mainstream enimes fighting each other.

Dex (aka. Dexter Fore) was watching the anniversary from his smelly, tan, Chinese store couch.

“C’mon Ochigo turn hollow and beat Maruto.” said Dex as he touched his face with his hand.

Ochigo, instead of listening to Dex, powered up his xanpakuto while Maruto formed his Tasenshuriken. “Hegtsuga Yensho!” Ochigo swung his sword down releasing his xanpakuto at Maruto. Maruto jumped towards the Xanpakuto and threw his Tasenshuriken at it, but right before the two characters specials clashed, the power went out.  

“Noo!” Dex stood up “Mom, what happened to the power!”

Dex’s mom didn’t answer.

“Maybe she’s asleep.,” thought Dex.

Dex’s mom worked two jobs, so when she came home all she did was sleep.

Dex always said hello, but his mom was almost always unresponsive like she was in a daze all the time.

Dex thought that it was because of work and just left it at that, but sometimes Dex would get really lonely especially during summertime when school was out. To appease his loneliness, Dex watched every enime out and read the mangas to.  

Dex walked to his mother’s room, it was close by since they lived in a small apartment in the slums.

Dex knocked on the door and waited a couple of seconds. No one answered he knocked again.

“Mom, I’m coming in” Dex opened the door and it was really dark, he could barely make out her bed.

“Mom, are you awake?” He took one step into the room and felt that something wasn’t right.

Dex ran towards the bed, but before he reached it, he tripped on something on the floor.

“What the?” Dex turned around and looked at what he tripped on.

“Mom?” Dex crawled over to her and shook her “Mom, mom. Mom!” screamed Dex

A couple of hours later

Dex was sitting in the E.R. waiting for the doctor to come back and give him updates on his mom.

The doctor was walking towards him. Dex saw him, so he jumped up and ran to the doctor “How’s my mom!” said Dex

“Dexter, do you have any other relatives?” said the doctor

Dex thought “Why is he asking me this”

 He then replied “No. I don’t doc, but how’s my mom?”

The doctor looked up from the clipboard “Noone, no cousins, aunties, uncles, a dad?” said the doctor

“I don’t have any other family members! Now tell me, how is my mom!” screamed Dex  

The doctor's face scrunched up “She’s gone Dexter,” he grabbed Dex’s shoulder

“Stop lying to me,” Dex removed the doctor's hand from his shoulder “How she… she was perfectly fine. I..I..I just saw her walk through the door. She waved at me.” Dex looked up with tears streaming down his face and snot coming out his nose “Just today” said Dex.

The doctor hugged Dexter “It's okay… It’s okay” said the doctor.

Dex pushed the doctor away “No, it's not okay and quit touching me I don’t know you.”

“I’m sorry.” said the doctor

Dex looked around and felt that everyone was staring at him giving him pity he didn't need. He started backing up, losing his mind to the looks that he was receiving around the room. Dex ended up running away from the hospital and everyone in it.

In an alley

“Huh. huh. Sniff, sniff” Dex was sitting down in an alley that was close to his house.

“Why, why me god?” Dex looked up “I will do anything just make my mom come back.” He continued talking with his eyes closed “I just want to see her smile and leave that dazed expression. So god please give me a chance.”

Unbeknownst to Dex, there was a devil watching him and analyzing his situation. The devil flew down and floated right in front of Dex

“Please, Please god,” said Dex

“Okay, we will help you,” said the Devil

Dex thinking that god responded kept his eyes closed and got on his knees like how they said in the nible.

“Thank you, thank you god,” said dex

“But there’s one condition”

“What is it? I’ll do it even if you don’t tell me”

“Very eager, I like it.” The devil grabbed Dex’s hand “We’re going to need some blood to make it happen. Okay.”

Dex nodded eagerly. The devil used her teeth and poked Dex’s finger. The blood slowly came out to form a drop that will land on the Devil’s hand. The blood left Dex’s finger and landed in the center of the devil’s palm.

“We’re done, you could open your eyes”

Dex opened his eyes and was surprised to see a female “Gods a girl?”

“No silly. I’m the devil that’s going to kill god.”

“Wait, what” Dex yanked his hand back “Did I just sell my soul?”

“Yes, you did, but you will get your mom back. You just have to do something for me.”

“You're going to bring my mom back?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, what do I have to do.”

“You're going to take over the world I’m sending you to. What I mean by taking over is to create your own faction and kill all who oppose.”

“Isn’t that what take over mean?” said dex who was thinking that the “Devil” in front of him is kind of stupid, but in a cute way.

“Oh, it does doesn’t it.” She looked up “Well whatever, we’re leaving now”

She took Dex’s hand and they disappeared.

One minute later

At the same spot, a group of people flew down

“Shit, we almost had her.” said the people in the front.

“We will get her next time,” said the leader who was a big stocky man, that looked like he could break a tree in half with one punch.
