As Andy exited the door he found himself entering a room looking similar to a conference room

Andy also noticed the plethera of rich looking people here[for their level of technology], he soon was greeted by one of the more stuck up looking ones

short kid:" come to our holy empi- *coughs*...country it should be a great honor serving our god"

Andy took a full moment to think as he was suddenly jumped by a short man demanding him to agree to follow him to his represented country of Barlos, though he declined as he was an aethiest and didn't particularly beleive in any religion and the kid/short man was extremely rude to him

Andy:"No thanks I would like to consider my other options"

as he declined another man seemed to approach him though he seemed a bit more polite

polite man:"you will be choosing a country you would like to reside in though they all have their benefits and conditions besides defending them from threats"

after that man's polite delivery of information Andy proceeded to walk up to various people asking their terms and conditions

rich person:"our conditions are that we will instruct you on water magic and its sub type ice magic, and we will grant you 50 gold coins and 1 platinum coin, but you will participate in our mage/knight order and enforce the law and defend the area from monsters"

Andy declined as he had essentially no affinity towards those particular magical elements, most of them were the same with little differences

other rich person:"we will instruct you on mineral magic, and gift you your own forge, though you must meet a quota for production"

Andy wasn't too sure on his craft and he had yet to check out his skills so he had to postpone his answer to that one

'none of these offers really pique my interest should I ask if I could be a hired mercenary'

Andy eventually decided to ask and the reply he got was something along the lines of

"Sure but the only benefit is a pass to enter and leave any of the respective countries after registering yourself to the pass"

Andy accepted the conditions and became a mercenary for hire

Andy while he was there also asked about adventurers and confirmed that they were like any other fantasy genre, but he didn't forget to ask about the differences between a mercenary and an adventurer

random person:"Adventurers are supported by the country but have to comply to some of the laws a bit more closely while a mercenary isn't and wont be held as accountable to crimes though still can be sued by targets"

Andy then took a seat and decided to wait for the others while he read a phamplet he recieved by the polite man

'please wait for the other two before leaving as it would be nice to compare yourselves and keep things in order'

After reading what was essentially a waste of paper two doors suddenly appeared and then opened

out came the other two and with that Andy left towards the large door on his left no one stopped him besides another woman who handed him a map and invitation to the adventurers guild
