“Ready.”
Incatu’s voice was barely a whisper, so much so that Azaan had sudden confusion about whether he had even heard anything still, Azaan nodded, his face twisting due to a sudden spike of pain. It was the only change that transpired upon his face.
Azaan watched Incatu returning towards the carriage. For his position, he could see blue crystals that were glowing at the side even though the carriage was still floating. He struck both swords together once again and then turned around, slowly moving along the circumference of the hexagonal, glowing space. It was only now that he had noticed that the space was a hexagon similar to the base of the tower which, due to all the skulls, he did not notice. The fact that Incatu said there were seven more goblins like him also cemented this fact even though he had not circled around the whole thing.
Azaan passed a glowing path that extended straight from the corner of the said hexagon all the way until the walls. By now, he had completely discarded making any sounds and was focusing on reaching the next glowing path, the place where they had selected to meet.
The beating that Azaan’s body had taken up till then was showing its results. His gait was slow, sometimes even needing his sword or the walls to help him balance. With even step, a new wave of pain erupted and the blood had again started flowing from his shoulder after fighting the goblins, though due to the pressure in this area, it did not flow out allowing him some relief. Again, a wave of warmth spread across his body and he felt somewhat energetic as he resumed his walk.
It took Azaan some time before he reached the glowing road, a lot of time, actually. This one also extended from the corner of a hexagon. He could see the floating figure from where he was, warped in a cloak and floating while still uttering those damned noises. This time though, the pain he was feeling was constantly keeping his mind grounded as whenever it tried to wander about, the pain suddenly overloaded, bringing him back. He moved a bit away from the road, trying to see its face, the only thing he was able to see was the massive horns that were similar to those that his capture had possessed. From what he could guess, they were both a foot in size unlike those that Incatu possessed that were only just starting to curve upwards. Curiosity satisfied, started moving away from the tower parallel to the glowing road but in the darkness of the nearby buildings.
Flash!!
He had just crossed his third building when the darkness of the night was violently ripped apart as a sun suddenly appeared where the tower was. Suddenly, the pressure and the intensity of the damned voices lessened, not stopped but lessened. It was similar to before the seventh goblin had flown atop the tower. He turned towards the spectacle and started back walking away from the tower.
Everything was enveloped by the bright light forcing him to quickly lower his gaze lest blindness was also added to the already growing list of affliction. The light cast everything in white completely casting aside the light of the humongous moon that was in the sky.
“Ready!!”
Azaan relaxed his body as he heard the shout of Incatu. At one moment he was standing still and the next moment he was suddenly lifted as his body accelerated at a speed he could only dream of running. His body protested as he adjusted his position, his sword gripped in both hands.
"Azaan, don't let any near!"
Azaan narrowed his eyes, looking down. His legs were grabbed in Incatu's hands, his abdomen on his shoulder while the remaining portion was facing back, ready to face anything to the best of his abilities, though they were not much.
As his eyes somewhat adjusted to the brightness, he heard noises that were slowly becoming more and more audible, noises that he had heard before.
The intensity of light slowly decreased as Incatu kept running away from the tower. After narrowing his eyes, he was able to somewhat see his surrounding ground and so he was able to see the blue wires that were swarming towards them, slowly cutting the distance between them.
They had narrow pointed tips and a width similar to the chains that had been used to capture him.
Abruptly, Azaan swung the sword to his left as he saw some moment from the corner of his eyes, deflecting some of the wires when they made an abrupt turn towards them again. Some of them tried to wrap around the sword while others tried to go for his hands and Incatu's legs. Thankfully though, Incatu suddenly accelerated just in time, saving his arms. He forcefully pulled the sword towards himself causing pain to erupt from the shoulder as he tried to free the sword from the wires.
Just as he had freed his sword with much difficulty, suddenly his upper body lurched downwards as they flew over the wires that had ambushed them from both sides of the circular glowing road just as they had entered the cross section.
"Just one?"
"Just one!"
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Incatu replied as he kicked against the wall of the building, hurling himself towards a building on the opposite side. Like this, they zigzagged through the wires that tried to warp around them.
Thump
Just as Incatu landed on the ground, knees bending, the wires sprang towards them with exceptional ferocity. Every collision against his sword caused pain in his hands while sending Incatu forward which helped him move forward.
He tried to deflect as many as he could, trying to decrease the load on Incatu as he dodged any that struck him down. Slowly as they increased the distance between them, Incatu slowed somewhat, only occasionally accelerating to maintain the distance from the wires.
"It's bulls."
"Right."
He looked towards the tower, occasionally deflecting some of the wires that came towards them. Even though it was still very bright, he could make the spherical shape of the sun that seemed to be frozen there in the air.
"Is it supposed to be stuck there?"
He asked, reverting to the formal conversation as both of them had some respite from the chains.
"It's supposed to explode, Azaan, go boooom taking that tower with itself."
"All of them are even able to stop that. They really are monsters."
"No no no, Azaan, it's the one on the top doing all this."
"Holy hecking heck."
"Yes, you should be happy that others can't do anything, Azaan, or we would not be here."
Their conversation was cut off there as the wires started speeding up as they were about to cross the second cross section near the place where the fight had taken place.
"Bra"
The world suddenly spun as they soared through the sky.
"Aggggggggggggggggggggg!!!"
Pain was the only thing that Azaan could feel from both of his hands. He tried to clench his hand but he could not feel them, both of them.
Thwack
Again one moment they were in the sky and next they were quickly approaching the ground. This time Azaan felt the impact from his legs and they also suddenly erupted in pain as he felt something piercing his flesh on both of his legs.
"Aggggggggggggggggggggg!!!"
"Agg, get a hang of yourself!"
Incatu shouted as he quickly got up while picking Azaan with him. His body was also hurt as he felt his back hurt, but compared to Azaan he had a vastly superior body, allowing him to quickly dodge another swing.
Bang!!
A crater formed as a wire that he dodged slammed into the ground.
Bang!!
Swish!!
Bang!!
Swish!!
Bang!!
Swish!!
Suddenly, Incatu moved through the chains as he accelerated drastically. The chains were following them from behind as well as the buildings that were towards the right of them. Thankfully though, all the other areas were empty except some of the buildings that were beside the river.
Even though his speed had doubled, the chains were still moving faster, stabbing their pointy fronts towards them. Every time they struck, it produced a sound as if an arrow had left its bow.
The sounds allowed him to dodge the strikes making it seem as if he was able to observe in 360 degrees, which, when considering how excellent their hearing truly was.
He grabbed Azaan’s legs even tighter, carefully avoiding pressuring the bones that were piercing out from his flesh on both his legs, to keep him from falling.
As they were just in front of the buildings, he bent his knees and then jumped towards the building while cancelling the speed enhancement that he was performing. He kicked the wall of a building accelerating himself further straight into the river.
“Azaan, you there?"
Incatu asked as he ran towards the exit between the walls. The wires ran rampant making the river water splash all around as they tried to hit him. Because of the buildings on both sides, they only stabbed at him forgoing the swinging attacks.
As he approached the wall, bits of light started appearing on the wall on both sides of the exit.
He quickly conjured lightning strikes towards the figures on the both sides, pushing himself further to increase his speed. He was able to delay them enough that he escaped just before the barrier closed. He looked behind at the wires that were caged in as he cast the speed enhancement that he had been preparing while running. After casting it twice, he blurred into the forest moving through the forest with extreme grace.
After feeling that there was enough of a distance, he quickly placed Azaan on the ground. He could hear the blood flowing.
"This is going to be painful, Azaan."
The glow of lightning highlighted his pale skin as blood continued to flow out. Azaan's breathing was very slow, slow enough that even his ears had difficulty picking them up.
He quickly adjusted the power of lightning and started burning his stumps to stop the blood loss. When he saw the body tremble violently from the shock he lowered the power even further. After burning off both stumps he followed up to the shoulder and any other cuts that were causing any significant amount of blood loss.
It took him a while to do all this as the condition of Azaan was already very severe. Afterwards he picked Azaan up, this time in a more comfortable position, and started running away.
Comfortable with the distance from the town, he looked around for the biggest tree in the area and climbed up at the top. He could still see the white sun from this far away. Even though he could see it shrinking in size, he kept watching unconcerned.
It kept becoming smaller as if it was going to fizzle out when it suddenly expanded in size and exploded in bright light. He could hear the sound of the impact long before the winds swayed the trees near him.
Done watching the septical, he jumped down the tree and laid Azaan on a tree. He started preparing to cast the speed enhancement to quickly get out of here. He could already foresee a long chase once they recovered from his last gift. Though, he thought, it should even take them some time.
Just as he finished the enhancement he looked towards Azaan to see he was gone.
"Tsk tsk, leaving behind after all I did."
He shook his head and started running away.

"Critical situation. Diver unable to respond. Beginning process: Healing. Cost: 0.15 points."
Green light slowly engulfed the body as the healing process started.
After it had completed its job, the light started fading away as the owner of the body woke up.
"Exit"
Exit the Endless Dungeon
Y/N
He exited the storage building, closing the door, and started heading towards the main building of his house. As he neared, he could hear the noise of kids running around and playing. The fact that his senses were much stronger than before contributed to this.
He opened the main door and entered the house.
"Assalamu alaikum, everyone, I am back."
