Chapter 2: New skills
They went downstairs on the other side of the hallway since the ceiling blocked their exit.
Suddenly three more ghouls jumped out of the windows.
“Are you sure you can handle it?” asked Ifres to Rina
“I will try.”
“I take the two in front of me and you cover my back.”
“Ok.”
Ifres using his beginner axe and slashes the body of the first ghoul in two. The other ghoul attacks him, he gets hit.
(Fuck! It hurts. Even though this ghoul is level 1)
In the meantime, Rina is grabbed by the ghoul. She let out a panic scream.
(I can’t die like this!) she thought
She takes out his dagger using both hands and full power to stab through the skull of the ghoul.
The ghoul let out a scream and falls down.
“I killed him, I killed him!” shouted Rina with a triumphant look
On the other side, Ifres is still battling the remaining ghoul. He swings his axe, the ghoul loses his head.
(Huh,what is this?) The ghoul disappeared and in it’s place is a shining stone.
Enchanting Stone: Requires it to enchant weapons or armors.
(Enchanting stone… So those monsters drops items just like in a mmorpg.)
“What is this?” asked Rina
“An enchanting stone, those monsters will drop items like these. You should take every dropped item.”
Ifres picked the stone and put it in his pocket. His arm is bleeding from the attack of the ghoul.
(I need to stop this bleeding.)
Rina saw that he is looking at his arm and know his intention. I got a handkerchief here, she takes out of her pocket and wraps it around Ifres bleeding arm.
“Thank you.”
“You saved my life before, this is the least thing I can do for you.”
“Oh, I forget what is your name?” she asked
“Ifres Fallen and yours?”
“Rina Asani.”
“Let’s go.” he said
They went through the exit and left the building. But there are now countless ghouls lurking outside.
“Are there other students here?” Rina asked
“No, I was alone in this building until I met you,” Ifres said
“We ran from science building to here. There are about thirty people in that building.” Rina said
“We should go back to the science building and get more members.Two of us aren’t enough.”
“We need to go through the monsters…..” Rina said in hopeless tone
(She is right, two ghouls already wounded me. We should gain more levels first.”
“Let’s kill them one by one, I throw a stone at them and we run back in the building.” he suggested
He immediately throws a stone at them, two ghouls rushing at Ifres. “Go back to the building now.”
The two of them entered the building while the two ghouls followed. Rina and Ifres disposed of them immediately.
(Huh? there is green text floating above Rina)

Suddenly a red bracelet is appearing on Rina’s right arm and a black bracelet on Ifres right arm.
A text floating above the bracelet said;
Touch it!
They both touch their bracelets at the same time and a hologram appeared with the following text;

Rina is looking at her own screen;

“What is that?” she asked to Ifres
“Touch it and learn those skills,” he said
“Alright.”
Backstab:Teleport behind target and stabs the target with your dagger
Range:13 meter
Requires 5 mana to use

Of course, she chose yes and the information through her brain.
‘What the hell was that?’ she asked
“It means you learn this skill.”
Blink:Teleport for a short distance
Range:20 meter
Requires 3 mana to use
You want to learn this skill? Y/N
And Rina learns blink.
“Let’s test our new skills!” Ifres suggested
They immediately went back outside, Rina using [backstab] and Ifres using [Cyclone] on their targets.
Rina instantly teleported behind the ghoul and stabbed him while Ifres is spinning his axe and killed several ghouls.
Both of them are using both skills repeatedly until they are out of mana. They have cleared the most of the ghouls outside and they are level 3 now.
