Boy named John was born into ordinary family in Northeastern land. John’s family was neither large nor particularly small. It was composed of his father, mother, older brother, and himself. John’s parents were distinctly different from one another. His father, a soldier, possessed a warm demeanor and a heart of gold. He welcomed John with open arms and a genuine kindness that made their home feel like a safe haven. On the other hand, his mother, a dedicated schoolteacher, had moments of sternness. When it was time to address matters of discipline, she wouldn’t hesitate to offer a firm word of correction. Despite their contrasting approaches to parenting and individual personalities, they shared a love that surpassed the ordinary, something not every person could ever experience. This combination of their nurturing and structured approaches created a balanced environment for John to grow up in. When John was born, his older brother was merely three years old. At this tender age, he began to be treated more like an adult, assisting his mother with household chores. Whenever he shed tears over something, his mother, mindful not to disturb the newborn John, would insistently usher him outside. In many ways, he practically grew up outdoors. As John matured, he found himself facing daily doses of bullying, particularly from his older brother. His brother would taunt him, claiming he was abandoned in the streets by his biological mother and that they had only adopted him out of pity, these hurtful words were like sharp blades, slicing away at his self-esteem. One particularly traumatic incident stands out in his memory. It was the day his brother took a burning matchstick and callously dropped it, the flames creeping dangerously close to his left eye, leaving a searing mark. As his brother saw his left eye, he got scared of their parents and insisted that he should lie, practically demanding he say he had fallen and unknowingly landed on a key on the floor, attributing the scar to that fabricated story. This event left an indelible mark on him, both physically and emotionally, as he reluctantly agreed to go along with the false narrative his brother had devised. As time passed, John grew increasingly frustrated with his brother’s behavior and decided to take action. He stood up to his brother whenever he bullied little John, even though he knew he was likely to get beaten, as his brother was older and battle-hardened from numerous outdoor scuffles with his friends. These confrontations with his older brother led to heated clashes, drawing the attention of their parents. When they found out, they scolded both brothers, but reserved harsher words for the older one, recognizing his greater responsibility due to his age. As Time passed, he lived his life to the fullest without knowing nor thinking about what future held for him.
