Chapter 1: The beginning

*World of Aktiraskah*

"Brother, what about these... bodies?" Zha'thikros inquired, his voice devoid of emotion. He gestured towards the two figures lying inert on the floor, their forms still and lifeless.

Kuruk'sha, his gaze fixed on his brother, replied, "I've checked their memories. Murksh and Sobbath. They have no family."

Zha'thikros tilted his head, his face unreadable. "No family? What is that?"

Kuruk'sha paused ,thinking and said. "It's a concept, Zha'thikros. A group of individuals bound by blood, marriage, or adoption, who live together and care for one another."

Zha'thikros remained silent, his gaze unwavering as he studied the new body he had acquired. The concept of family was foreign to him. He had never experienced such a bond, nor understood its significance.

"They have no family," he repeated, his voice a monotone. "What does that mean for them?"

Kuruk'sha shrugged, his expression unreadable. "It means they are alone. But their memories are now ours. Their lives, their experiences, are now part of us."

But... why can't I check my own memory?" asked Zha'thikros, a hint of curiosity creeping into his tone." No, who am i exactly?"

Kuruk'sha turned to face his brother directly. "The question is not who you are, Zha'thikros, but what you are. We are beings of pure energy, created by a higher power for a purpose we have yet to fully understand." And as far as your memories are concerned, you will gain them slowly, but surely.

Zha'thikros looked up in thought, processing this new information." And why do I call you 'brother'?"

Kuruk'sha placed a hand on Zha'thikros's shoulder, his voice softening slightly. "We are family, Zha'thikros. Though we may not share the same biological ties as these 'families' we've learned about, our bond is deeper, forged by our very existence. We were created together, and we will discover our purpose together."

Zha'thikros nodded slowly, his gaze shifting from the lifeless bodies to his brother's face. "Then tell me, Kuruk'sha, what is our purpose?"

Kuruk'sha's eyes narrowed, a glimmer of determination flickering within them. "That, my brother, is what we must discover."

Zha'thikros's eyes widened. "A purpose? You mentioned something about a 'judgment' before. What did you mean by that?"

Kuruk'sha fell silent, his gaze distant. moment, he spoke, his voice low. "Even I do not fully understand the nature of the judgment our creator has spoken of. But we must discover our purpose, Zha'thikros. That is what we must focus on."

Zha'thikros studied his brother's face, sensing the weight of the words. "Then tell me, Kuruk'sha, where do we begin?"

Kuruk'sha met his brother's gaze, a glimmer of determination in his eyes. "We must explore this world of Aktirashka, and uncover the truth that lies within"

With a shared nod, the brothers rose, their forms shimmering with a faint, ethereal glow. They stepped out of the dense jungle, leaving behind the lifeless bodies of Murksh and Sobbath, their memories now a part of the brothers' own. The vast expanse of Aktiraskah stretched before them, a world teeming with mysteries and possibilites . Their journey had just begun.
