In Xiao Clan Manor, The Xiao Clan Lord is checking the territory he wants to claim for the clan. He's looking at what moves to make, the possible gains and losses and how it would benefit the clan. For the clan to expand, he will have to encroach on the territories of other clans, which may cause conflict.

The Xiao clan has an area the size of a small star. Being one of four leaders of this region, the Lu Clan, Yan Clan & the Jian Clan each clan cultivates their respective martial techniques. Each clan has an area equal to or just smaller than the size of a star.

The little path of Samsara of the Xiao Clan, Road of Light of the Lu Clan, Petrification path of Rock of the Yan clan, and Mortal sword of Heaven of the Jian Clan, Of the three clans, the Xiao Clan are the strongest. The reason being is they have simply produced the most experts and can pass on their knowledge to their newborn while they are in the womb, because of this those of the Xiao Clan are born without tears and the starfield calls them little sages.

By the age of five, they are sent out to explore and train, however scions and sons of elders are allowed to bypass this as their endowment is already past the threshold. For them, the only thing they need is to wait for a bloodline awakening and to see what Martial Spirit they have before they can travel to the other stars or travel out further with the Elders to see the world outside the starfield.

Around this time Elder Bai and Xiao Yun return home, Elder Bai turns to Xiao Yun "Young master, I will be heading to see clan lord also you should go and prepare for your bloodline awakening ceremony." Xiao Yun smiled happily " Don't worry Elder Bai, I've been waiting to prove to my father how strong I am, and I won't let him down".

When the Clan Lord heard of the events that happened earlier today he was surprised. Elder Bai what do you think? Our Xiao Yun has always had lucky encounters, do you think that old man would help us if Xiao Yun gained his favor?."

Elder Bai stood in a contemplative manner for a while "Clan Lord I'm not sure about the old man but he definitely has a karma with the young lord, if one day our young lord is in danger I believe the old man will appear".

The Clan Lord looked over Elder Bai and told him to leave. After a while he let out a sigh, after rubbing his temples he looked towards a wall in the direction of Xiao Yun's courtyard and muttered to himself quietly. "Our clans future rests on your shoulders my son.".

To the East of the Xiao Clan manor Xiao Yun was practicing his clan’s inherited martial techniques. He had already gained some of his own insights on top, the insights he was born with are similar to the other descendants of the main branch, knowledge of the clan techniques, skills and applications are all hereditary making everyone born from the main branch stronger than those of their age.

At the back of the courtyard, there was a space big enough for a regular small clan, this was Xiao Yun's training space, he was using some fist techniques similar to 'tai chi', his movements seemed to be one with nature as he moved the air in the courtyard moved with him. On the floor where he was using footwork in conjecture with his fist techniques you could see a large Yin Yang diagram where the grass was swept away leaving only dirt.

After cultivating his techniques Xiao Chen sat down and looked up into the sky. He gazes at the moon for a while before smiling. His thoughts were simple and honest: to work hard and be strong like father.

That night, while Xiao Yun was sleeping, the pendant he bought during the day silently glowed around his neck. The colors inside started disappearing one by one all that was left was a golden color liquid. Not much time after that the liquid slowly seeped into Xiao Yun's skin. It flowed through his vessels and many meridians on his body opened up. His body lit with a jade-like glow and became as clear as water, allowing anyone outside to see his muscles, veins and the blood flowing through his body.

All through the night, the golden liquid diffused into the blood and organs of Xiao Yun, restructuring his body and changing the characteristics of his blood without changing his original Xiao family bloodline. After his blood and body underwent a kind of change in life level his hair and eyes both changed in color, his physique was now in a state of luster all his muscles from before had shrunk and he now looks more feminine. His height, weight and body are now in a state of perfection and because of the change in his physique he looks to be over ten years of age even though he's still only at the age of seven.

The next morning, before Xiao Yun had awoken, the maids came early to ready water, clothes and a meal for their young master. One of the maids screamed in shock and scared the other maids. Xiao Yun was shocked out of his sleep and sat up as quick as a bolt of lightning whilst the guards from outside ran to the commotion only to stand still dumbfounded. Xiao Yun stared at everyone who was watching him as if they had seen a new species of animal. He got annoyed when no one said anything. "What? What are you all looking at? Why are you all staring at me? What's wrong with you?".

Elder Bai quickly ran in, stopped and stood in a daze. He was also dumbfounded; he quickly walked to the front of the maids and guards and stopped by Xiao Yun's bed. "Young master you..." Xiao Yun had black wrinkles on his forehead. "I, what old man, why is everyone looking at me like this?" Elder Bai quickly told one of the maids to get the Clan Lord and told everyone else to leave, he quickly turned back to Xiao Yun "Young master, how do you feel?" Xiao Yun baffled quickly, looked around, checked his hands, stood up and checked himself and was surprised, "Elder Bai I've grown taller this is great. but I think I've gotten a little weaker, my muscles are all gone and I look a little thin, is this why everyone was staring at me so funny?" Elder Bai didn't even know how to laugh at this.

The Clan Lord was very fast after he got the message he simply vanished from his seat like a mirage in the wind. All the maids and guards felt like his shadow stayed behind longer than the clan lord did, the clan lord turned up at the east side of the manor to see Elder Bai and his son standing in the room "Elder Bai this..." Elder Bai had an awkward look on his face "Clan Lord I..." Xiao Yun ran over to his dad in an excited manner and quickly spoke " Dad when I woke up I was suddenly taller.. but my manly image has been ruined, I've become too thin" Xiao Long looked at his son in bewilderment " Son are you really okay? Have you seen yourself in the wash basin?" Xiao Yun was startled for a few seconds, he wondered if something had happened to his face, he quickly ran up the wash basin to check and he froze for a while "dad this..." He realised his face was slim and looked as if it was cut jade, his brows were both soft and sharp and he couldn't tell what color his hair was because a divine light enshrouded every inch of his head. Between his brows there was a simple “heaven” character. His eyes were also golden but his pupils were no longer regular, he now had two irises in each eye.

Xiao Yun now looked like a child of a deity. He was told to stay in the clan manor, the guards and maids were told to keep this within the clan. Xiao Yun and his mother were together in the east part of the manor. It had been a while now since the change and his mother had stayed by his side ever since his change though she was happy and he was fine she was worried about the change. She didn't know if this change was something good for her child or the family or whether there were any repercussions or even if it would lead to disaster. If the other clans knew that this type of change had happened to a clan heir they would certainly investigate and do their best to stop Xiao Yun from growing up. After all this time the important figures in the family have found many things about the new change to Xiao Yun.

Xiao Yun was sitting cross legged in his courtyard in a meditative position, the color of his hair had become dimmer and underneath the dim glow you could see the color of Xiao Yun's hair which was now red while previously it was black. While meditating and trying to feel the changes within himself Xiao Yun came to a world. Inside this world there was a glowing river of golden liquid underneath Xiao Yun, it was in the shape of a bipedal body. Of course Xiao Yun would never know this until much later how important this space is.

In this inner world, Xiao Yun sat crossed legged in the void, after a time opening both his eyes, he got up and tried to walk, for a while it was difficult to get used to, there’s no direction or latitude in this space, after some time he got the hang of the movement in this inner void. Soon without knowing it he had traveled far he was about to give up when found a stone tablet in the distance, it was surrounded by the golden lake of the sky. The lake seems stagnant like it was dead but the aura of life from it was something the heavens couldn't bind. Xiao Yun jumped over the small spaces that separated him from the tablet, the closer he got the more he realised the tablet was not as small as he thought. When he finally stood in front of the tablet he could feel a slight pressure being emitted from it. The natural lines on the tablet seem to be carved, they were neither sharp nor soft, they had no edges and seemed to have been there with the birth of the tablet.

Xiao Yun couldn't read anything on the tablet at all. He walked around it a few times with no luck. He sat in front of the tablet for a while only for nothing to happen. He got up feeling somewhat at a loss and leaned against the tablet, placing both his hands on the tablet looking at the floor, he soon felt a strange energy running along his arms. He quickly stepped back and looked up at the tablet he didn't notice when but a heaven character (天) similar to the one he was in the wash basin of his forehead was now on the tablet. The previous lines that were on the tablet had disappeared and all that was left were the two small handprints where Xiao Yun's hand previously was. Xiao Yun sat crossed legged and meditated on the heaven symbol. After a while he found the tablet and golden liquid from before had gone leaving himself in a dark empty space, there was nothing there. After some time had passed the (天) symbol came back and floated within the space only 2 feet distance from Xiao Yun, the rays of light from the symbol baptised Xiao Yun's body and he quickly fell into an unconscious state.

That night in the eastern part of the Xiao Clan manor there was a dim light glowing on the courtyard where Xiao Yun stayed. People of that starfield could clearly see a soft light shining onto the Xiao Clan Manor.

This caused an uproar and rumours started to spread wildly. Back in Xiao Yun's courtyard he was receiving massive benefits from his encounter with the symbol but his parents who were by his side had a sullen expression. If word of this change reached other parts of the starfield the other three clans will come to learn the issue. If they see the change on Xiao Yun they will know the balance previously maintained has started to tip. They don't want to be under others rule, they will work together to kill him should they find out. Xiao Long stood firm "Fei'er don't worry he will be okay.

We will solve the problems when they come. Xiao Long looked at his wife while radiating an aura of battle. Lu Fei Xing's eyes became watery and she hugged him while crying into his embrace. That night things for the Xiao Clan were bound to change.
