SUMMARY

STORY PROGRESSION

Amid the power struggle and the ongoing war, Hans, the last descendant of the Imperial bloodline of Parv, was born. After losing his father due to the betrayal of his confidante and commander, Hans was raised by Sierra and Rudolf, his father's adoptive parents, who became his grandparents. He lived a carefree life with them in the Ghost Isles, one of the most dangerous places in the world.

Aspiring to be a knight like his grandfather, Hans showed talent with the sword, but he longed to be in civilization, which both his grandparents opposed.

With almost eight years gone, he saw the first humans in the Ghost Isles, who came to fulfill his wish. When he turned ten, they finally left the Ghost Isles, but in those two years, his dream of being a knight was shattered. However, another dream took its place: to be a world-renowned mage. Following his dream and primarily for his safety, the three joined Concordia, the most gifted and powerful school for mages and knights, with him as a student and his grandparents as deans.

He befriended two peers: Chris, an aspiring knight, and a cocky rich girl whose mother taught at Concordia as a professor. Their friendship was a bumpy ride, but the three became close through several incidents: mis-teleportation into a beast zone, participating in glory wars, Hans realizing his lineage, and finally facing the most powerful knight of the past as an undead—his own father.

Hans always ran away from who he was, but in the end, he was forced to accept the title of Prince of Parv and the responsibility that came with it as the last imperial.

WORLD PROGRESSION

This world of Genas has a single huge continent dominated by three races: Humans, Elves, and Dwarves. Elves rule the northeastern lands, while Dwarves control the west. The rest of the land is inhabited by five human nations: Parv in the east, Indu in the south, Utar in the north, Sunfall in the central west, and Grimgar, the most powerful human nation, in the center.

Each of these nations holds unique cultures but shares two primary professions: Knights, the aura masters, and Mages, the spell masters. Knights are regulated by a body called the Knight Association, while Mages are overseen by the Mage Tower, a distributed organization of 24 magic towers. While Knights are ranked globally, Mages live reclusive and hidden lives.

Float Lands, as they are called, are a collection of levitating islands above the shared sea of four nations.

Life in Genas was good, filled with genuine happiness and the normal struggles of daily life, until their world was invaded by a cannibalistic race they called Red Demons. The united powerhouses managed to seal these invaders inside a huge barrier but lost half of Utar in the process.

Now, the barrier shakes, foretelling that it won't hold them for much longer.

MAGIC SYSTEM

Mana in Genas is a mixed energy of several elements, and each individual is born with the capability to use one or more elements by purifying it. Those born with a single element usually become Knights, while the more talented ones become Mages. Knights absorb mana, extract their respective element, and store it in their muscles, bones, and body, calling it aura. Mages create a rotating circle in their heart and store their purified elements as pure elemental mana.

Everyone is capable of using these elements, but only those who cross the aura of grade ten or create the first circle are called Knights and Mages.

There are four families of mana:

1. Elemental:

- Fire

- Water

- Ground

- Wind

2. Advanced:

- Lightning / Thunder

- Magma / Lava

- Wood / Life

- Ice / Frost

3. Rare:

- Light

- Dark

4. Unrecorded:

- Divine

- Space

- Time
