Synopsis
In the world of Mausolus, life was simple. People would pray to the Saints, obey the barons and scavenge the Fallen Ones that would rain from the sky. They would spend their days searching the god guts of the gigantic entities, plundering their bounties in order to fill their pockets and their stomachs so that they could keep on living to do so again. It was a life devoid of excitement, but a life nonetheless, and most people were content with what they had.
That is until the Titan fell.
With it, it brought a monumental paradigm shift. A Titan hadn’t fallen in centuries and all throughout Mausolus knew of its worth. Inside its body, it contained a bounty that eclipsed the riches of any baron, and now those riches lay ripe for the taking. A pauper could become a prince, and a mortal could become a god with the treasures that dwelled within the Titan’s innards.
And so, the age of odyssey began. A mass pilgrimage of adventurers surging forth from their mild-mannered lives to seek their fortune. Formerly only those brave enough to venture out their settlements travelled the world outside the safety of a settlement, but now, scavengers and corsairs alike were setting sail to claim the prize that lay beyond the horizon.
This is the story of one particular group of said adventures. A group made up of an eclectic collection of individuals all seeking the Titan’s treasure but for vastly different reasons. Whether it was for fame, glory, salvation, intrigue or fulfilment did not matter. Each motive served to be equally potent as a driving force behind their lust for the Fallen One’s bounty. For the longest time, they had all strived to attain these ambitions, and for the longest time, they had failed to do so. But now, with the Titan's promise of untold riches and incredible power, they knew that what all they had been searching for lay elsewhere, and that they would give everything they had to reach it.
