There was nothing, absolute emptiness in the vastness of the cosmos. Then something peculiar occurred, a Being emerged out of the nothingness. Followed closely by 4 others, genderless and featureless Beings all following one after the other.
“This place seems as good as any to get started.” The First Being stated.
“As long as you keep to your word and don’t leave midway like last time.” The Last Being said angrily.
“As long as we all stay together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish together.” The second being said simply.
“Then all we must do is begin.” The Fourth Being agreed.
Thus the cosmos began, and was seeded with the very beginnings of existence. Over the course of millennia they used their power to create planets and galaxies and seeded them with the life forms of their preference. The First Being, as the eldest, claimed the rights over the creation of fire. The Second Being, claimed rights over the vastness of the earth. The Third Being, claimed rights over the winds. The Forth Being claimed rights over the waters. And the Fifth Being claimed rights over space. Once they all had decided on their roles they agreed that they not interfere with each other’s creations as long as a majority vote was not reached, one thing they had learned in their previous locale was that they must hold each other accountable lest all their creations fall to nothingness again. They had to come together against their rivals who wanted nothing more than to return everything to oblivion. But emerging to a new place did come with benefits, it would take time for their adversary to notice and follow them.

“Last time was a test, this time we must pour all of our power into this universe. Only by uniting will we create something with a chance.” The Second Being said gruffly.
“Then we do what we must. Remember all groups MUST be given intelligence, only through competition and cooperation will life stand a chance against the what is to come.” The Fourth Being said.
“We WILL succeed where our predecessors failed.” The First Being said angrily.
“We will begin here. Our first sanctuary, our first hope for the future. As we agreed, it will be called Elorial.” The Fifth Being said with finality.
