Long ago, Yaldir, Goddess of Knowledge, Reona, Goddess of creativity, Rados, God of Life, Ateus, God of Time, Gidion, God of Power, and Vidia, Goddesses of Magic, joined to create the universe. It was nothing but a dark void until the gods expanded it. They all wanted this creation to look a certain way. This caused conflict among the six until one of them came up with a solution. Yaldir, the goddess of knowledge, proposed to the others that they should split the universe into twelve sections called realms. Then, each god will get two realms to do whatever they pleased. The gods agreed, and the twelve realms Edim, Osguild, Freedus, Zemburg, Winstedia, Agmondious, Lumeindus, Scoldar, Youthaniss, Ozaron, Astriogar, and Nadeon were made. With this agreement, the gods filled their realms with planets and living things to inhibit those planets, such as plants, animals, and mortals. The gods peacefully ruled over their realms for centuries until Mimlot, the god of vengeance and jealousy, came. Mimlot saw how prosperous the realms were and how the mortals worshiped the gods. He wanted that all to himself, so he came up with a plan to overthrow the gods and lock them away in a prison he created just for them, called Pryeford. Once he gained control of the realms, the mortals refused to treat Mimlot like how they treated their actual gods. This angered Mimolt, so he subjected the mortals to years of torture. He made life horrible for them by plaguing their lands with famine and drought, but no matter what he did, they still refused to bow down to him. They believed ‌the gods would return and stop Mimlot but time had passed and the gods never returned. This crushed the mortal's spirits, and they lost hope that one day Mimlot's reign would ‌end. It caused the mortals to fall into an age of darkness. Then one day, a young warrior from Youthaniss named Katsumi came shining a light of hope upon the mortals. She cut down the tyrant, freed the gods, and imprisoned Mimlot in Pryeford, fixing all the wrongs during his reign. As a thank you, the gods gifted Katsumi eternal life and powers to watch over Pryeford to make sure Mimlot never escapes. They also offered her the position of guardian of the 12 realms. Katsumi agreed, and she became the first guardian of the realms. By giving Katsumi this position, the gods took it as an opportunity to dump their responsibilities of up keeping the realms onto Katsumi, but after 400 years had passed, she became overwhelmed with the responsibility of being the only guardian. Buried in stress, Katsumi sought help from the gods. Realizing that they pushed a huge load onto one person, the gods searched for another mortal with the same qualities as Katsumi to take on the role of guardian as well. Instead of choosing themselves, they made a special light for each realm that will pick a mortal to serve the realms. They then sent the light down to the realms and the second guardian was chosen. With this system in place, the gods choose to let the light choose a mortal every 400 years until all twelve realms had a guardian to serve their realm. This created The Order of the Realm Guardians. Katsumi, with the help of five other Guardians, has maintained harmony within the realms and kept Mimlot locked away in Pryeford. They are a force to be reckoned with, especially their youngest, newest guardian, the sixth one.
