The heartthrob is going to manage the manor

"We should arrive at your Manor in about a day," said Knight Adams, riding alongside the carriage and leaning towards me inside.

This knight had been temporarily assigned to Elena Fair:the new lord. But he could swear on his life that he had never seen such a stunning figure in all his years. Just one glance, and his heart was completely captivated by her.

Her eyes sparkled like the most radiant gems in the world, shining with an alluring brilliance. Her smile was as refreshing as a spring breeze, making one feel as if being bathed in the warmth spring. Her posture was noble and graceful, like a magnificent fairy ,untainted by the hardships of the world .Every moment spent gazing at her filled his soul with serenity and joy, as if the entire world became more beautiful because of her presence.

To be her knight was enough to make him proud for a lifetime.

Inside the bumpy carriage, i sat with my eyes closed, my body swaying endlessly with the jolting of the wheels. The road was uneven, and the carriage had no suspension, so i pressed my lips tightly together, afraid that if i opened my mouth, I  would not be able to stop myself from vomiting. Finally, as night fell and the carriage came to a halt, i could escape this long torment for a moment and rest.

Our destination was a remote manor beyond several mountains. It was a private property of my  family, but I had never been there. After my father's death, my mother sent me to study in the metropolis, but she too passed away a few years ago and the manor had been managed by a trustee. However, in recent years, natural disasters had become frequent, the manor was in decline, and the managers had left one after another. Meanwhile, i grew tired of the daily prayers and the tiresome games of suitors, so i decided to leave school early and return to personally take charge of my manor.

As i was preparing to sleep, i overheard two knights whispering outside the carriage.

"The lord is truly beautiful," said Adams.

"Yeah, if the lord touches my muscles, she'll definitely notice my merits," said Raul.

"Seriously? You think your muscles are better than mine? People have complimented me loads of times. Have you ever had that kind of attention?"

"You're full of it! My physique is way better than yours!"

"Hah, do you think mine isn't? Not only is my physique great, but other parts of me are too."

I thought, "..."

Sorry, but I really have no interest in your muscles or any other parts of you.

The two knights were starting to find each other insufferable, each believing the other was standing in the way of their goal.

Only a knight as noble and upstanding as myself could deserve someone as beautiful as the lord Elena, they each thought.

The coachman quietly muttered, "Who knows? Maybe the lord likes someone like me."

The two knights immediately found common ground, joining forces to mock him.

"Like you, all skinny like a twig? Don't be ridiculous!"

The coachman felt discouraged by their teasing, but he still thought he had a chance. After all, the lord had smiled at him once. Maybe she had a little affection for him, but her status kept her from being with him.

I couldn't figure it out. What exactly was it about me that attracted all these people? I hadn't tried to win them over, nor was i particularly kind, yet everyone seemed deeply infatuated with me, as if they'd all been struck by Cupid's arrow the moment they saw me—several arrows, in fact. Even my maid, Mary, looked at me every day with adoration. For every task i was assigned, Mary always smiled, clearly in good spirits every day. Mary often told others that working alongside someone so beautiful left her with no complaints. Although Mary was quiet, she was diligent and joyful in her daily work.

The next morning, they resumed their journey. The two knights didn't bother  me and Mary continued to follow the rule of "to be seen, not to be  heard." I enjoyed a rare, peaceful morning.

Just as I was about to close my eyes for a brief rest, Adams suddenly called out, "My lord, someone is lying on the ground ahead!"

I asked, "What's going on?"

Adams rode up ahead, then shouted back, "My lord, he's not wearing any clothes, and he's unconscious!"

Raul chimed in, "He's not wearing any clothes! He must be here to seduce you, my lord! Please, don't leave the carriage! We'll carry him away!"

I was utterly speechless at their bizarre conclusions.

Why would an unconscious man want to seduce me? I stepped out of the carriage and looked at the man lying in the middle of the road. I could swear i had never seen such a handsome person in my life. The man wasn't wearing any clothes, his skin was as white as jade, and though he wasn't overly thin, his muscles were perfectly proportioned, with abs that were both sexy and flawless. Even with his eyes closed, his face was strikingly beautiful.

He had long, golden hair, and his curly lashes rested softly against his skin, accentuating his high nose and pale, thin lips. He exuded an irresistible allure, making people want to wake him up just to witness the beauty of his eyes. Even as he lay silently amidst the fallen leaves, he resembled a masterpiece painted by a grand master—delicate in detail, possessing a beauty beyond the mortal realm, as though he had transcended all worldly concerns.

Yet, the knights and coachman remained unimpressed. In their eyes, anyone who appeared before the lord must be trying to seduce me, and this man was no exception, simply taking a different approach.

Adams regretted not thinking of this idea earlier. He should have just stripped down and laid in front of the lord himself. He glanced at Raul and saw that they were both thinking the same thing.

I said, "Move him into the carriage."

The two knights exclaimed in unison, "My lord! He could be a spy!"

"My lord! He must have ulterior motives! Don't be fooled by his appearance!"

My face hardened. "Now, move him into the carriage."

"Don't make me repeat myself, or you can go back to the metropolis."

In the end, they moved the man into the carriage. Adams even dressed him in his own clothes—though they were a bit small, with the sleeves and pant legs too short.

Looking at the man's exquisite and beautiful face, i let out a long breath.

Maybe i was also someone who judged people by their looks.

But with a man as beautiful as this, surely he wouldn't fall in love with me at first sight.

Sigh, being a heartrob is truly difficult.
