Elemental- chapter1: Origin

At Hamford High located on Code Valley, Andre Evans and his girlfriend Suzanna Rosario are heading towards their school bus to head home when they are approached by stars from the football team. Quterback: Oh look who it is: the luckiest mediocre guy with the hottest girl on the whole cheerleading squad. How has this happen? Wide receiver: Beats me He had to just pretend to be a fake Romero honestly and there you go. running back: Let’s make Dre boy plain again shall we? (All three of them laugh and step towards Andre and Suzanna closer). Andre: Really? (Sigh and shrugs his shoulders) Andre doges all three of the football players punches then makes them pay for it. The three football players: uh, uh, uh! Suzanna: wow now it’s likely you three will be out for the entire season. She quickly enters the yellow bus with Andre. While riding Andre mentions something to Anna. Andre: Tonight’s the big meteor shower are you going to see it? Suzanna: Naw I got to study so I don’t have a care for it. Andre: I understand but girl I would love to take a selfie next to one giant meteor. Suzanna: Ha why? I mean I don’t see the significant of that. Andre: Well it’s really my first time experiencing something like this so that’s why I’m ready for this. Anna: well be careful I would hate it if you ended up getting crushed by one of those meteors. Andre: I won’t Anna promise. (They smile at each other).

Andre is in his room watching the late night local news. News reporter: We are live in xse studios as space cameras are recording the meteor storm Live. (Andre’s mind): Gosh so damn sweet. Suddenly, a giant meteor rite brightens the room window. Andre: Holy smokes one just landed in the back of the woods, I should check it out. Andre sneaks out and rides his bike towards the woods. When he gets there he cuts on his flashlight and is amazed by the meteor’s size. Andre: (walks up towards the meteor) a selfie would be so lit. The meteor ends up releasing unknown energy that knocks Andre to the ground.

Andre: Uh! Aw Jeez (stands up and dust the dirt off of himself) I feel weird and different. I must head back home. Andre rides his bike home and the next morning at school, he tells Suzanna all about last night. Andre: Su it was awesome we could’ve caught a lovely full moon view. Suzanna: How long were you up? Andre: It’s not like I did not gain any sleep at all. I say for a good hour or two. Suzanna: Did you have a run in with a bear? Andre: Thank the lord no (both Andre and Suzanna laugh). Suzanna: Well today’s Wednesday which means early dismissal. Andre’s mind: Great I can figure out what the hell was up with me and fix this issue.

Suzanna and Andre are walking home from their bus stop. Suzanna: Why the rush boy? Andre: The rush? Suzanna has a look of discomfort but then she grins. Suzanna: My high school love looks like a roadrunner trying to get away from a coyote for Crist shakes. Andre: I just want to lay down in my cozy bed, I’m exhausted from seventh period Algebra. My brain gets easily drained. Suzanna: Oh please nerd pants. You want to get handed that diploma already but finish strong before then okay? Andre nods his head yes as he reaches his house. He stares at the mirror in his room and changes from his school clothes into a white tank stop and black basketball shorts.

Andre is alone on top of a building and looks up at the sky. Andre: (takes a deep breathe) let’s see what changes are connected to my body. He takes a couple back steps then charges towards the edge and flies up in the air with a little bit of fear. Andre: Holy snap I’m flying! He lands on the ground and picks up a car. Andre: oh my! I got super strength! That meteor really has blessed me surly. A lady and a man look at Andre with surprise face expressions and Andre jog way. At night thief are trying to rob a liquor store. Robber 1: put all the best wine you’ve got in the brown bags now! Cashier: Alright and I’ll give up money! (a gun gets loaded in front of his face).

Andre: Hey beverages are sold out! Robber2: Ha, ha, ha! A freakin kid has come to spare your life? Andre: I’m not an average boy I got gifts that will be used against you two. Jimmy (Suzanna’s friend from school) happens to by walking down the street from a local corner store and spots the robber getting man handled by Andre. Jimmy tries to record the whole commotion on his phone, but can’t get a good view. Jimmy: damn wish get an excellent camera angle. After Andre is finished with the two thieves he turns to the clerk and says “Don’t mention anything about me okay? clerk: sure thing boy. Andre flies away from the liquor store.

During the transition to the lunch period, Jimmy runs up to Andre and Suzanna. Jimmy: Hey guys heard about the incident at the liquor store? Andre and Suzanna: nope. Jimmy: So you didn’t see the morning news? Suzanna: Only for the weather that’s all plus, the news is ten percent happiness and ninety-nine percent sadness. (Andre’s mind): this is all about me. I doubt he was able to catch my techniques due to how fast I was going. Jimmy: Well someone was able to fight off two robbers with ease and save the cashier! Suzanna: No way those thieves had to be armed and dangerous how can a single person fight a gun with just their bare hands? Andre: Quick reflexes Suzanna. The thieves were caught off guard due to that. Sue: hmm if you say so.

Andre: there may be a superhuman lurking around here somewhere. Jimmy: I had my cell phone with me to see if I could figure out whether it was a male or female, but I could not get a good angle unfortunately. Suzanna: Boy I sure hope it is a female because I can get inspiration to break out of my shell. Andre: I’ll respect the hero either way. How is today’s food? Jimmy: Well it’s not decent which means it tastes awesome. Suzanna: I can agree with Jimmy, The pizza pie takes me back to elementary right Andre? Andre: yeah it really does. I give today’s lunch a grade of A minus. Andre’s mind: I have to not let Suzanna get all freaked out otherwise, Our relationship will take a huge blow.

Andre is seeing what other powers he has. Andre: so I can fly and gather super strength, but ‘I’m sure I have more in store. Andre is standing at the docks with his arms crossed. Andre: Let’s see here maybe I can try this water! Suddenly, the water starts rising and Andre gets a little too carried away. Andre: whoa! I didn’t mean to create a huge tidal wave! Come on man you are about to flood the whole city of Code Valley and the people will let you have it! Andre struggles to keep the wave from getting bigger and tries to relax, he eventually gets it together and no boats get destroyed. Thankfully no one ends up drowning under water as well. Andre: wow close one I need more practice with my water control. Now what else?
