CHAPTER 7.1 THE REMAINING DAYS PT 1
Montage: Day 1 to Day 6.
Cadets and Sergeants Training: pt 1
A panning frame of the early morning rise, summer heat lingering in visible heat ripples as the air density increases. Fenced off grounds on what was an open field of green.
The Cadets are using black batons within their training methods. Batons are first used when The Cadets are placed against the Sergeants for swordsmanship. Throughout the week they are training with batons before switching their training gear. A struggle is portrayed within each Cadet against their Sergeant tutor, as they try to learn and quicken their movements to better their attacks.
Nori often slacks off, eating fresh rolls from the stalls that have just been put out on the morning market, sitting herself in a larger hay bale at the back of the grounds. Nori often gets caught by her Captain and receives a field punishment before continuing on with her training.
Nori: “I can’t train on an empty stomach, give me a break”
Captain Kita: “Break?! You’ve been here an hour Cadet!” the Captain paces in-front of her as Nori mimics him with her hand behind her back.
Nori happens to slack off a few times in the week and receives the same punishment even as the weather grows hotter. The teams are finding it difficult with the heat.
Shoto gets punished on the third day for scolding Nori for slacking off, she teases him about being an accomplice.
Shoto and Nori are struggling to climb up the rope pulley that hangs from the barn’s front. The sun is setting showing the day is about to end.
Training in the fields and open training grounds - obstacle course: pt 1
Opening panel.
Daisuke and Tadashi are in training with the power glider within the open grounds of Tyranny’s fields. Fields of long grass add both camouflage and cover as wooden obstacles are placed to act as tall buildings scaled around them.
Daisuke Narration/Thoughts: If I aim to go higher, I’ve got more ground to cover.
Tadashi is following my movement, cutting the space between us to keep up. I can break through if I move through him.
Tadashi Narration/Thoughts: I need to keep up with him to throw him off his guard. When did Daisuke become so strong? against me…
Daisuke becomes evidently more confident as he glides further off the ground and increases his speed, moving against Tadashi. The two begin to predict one another's movements, equally improving to outwit each other.
Tadashi’s scar beneath his eye has almost healed, showing the healing rate of his abilities.
They begin to devise a plan to use each other's strengths as they observe their surroundings. Their surroundings paint the picture of where a war is thought to be had… Liberty.
Narrator: Within the week the teams worked tirelessly to become stronger, gaining more speed and power with each and every strike.
They train to fight for what is to come and the very events that will lead up to the final curtain call.
They are readying themselves to battle for an end all.
CHAPTER 7.2 THE REMAINING DAYS PT 2
Cadets and Sergeants Training: pt 2
The Pell is presented before each Cadet - Eventually The Cadets are using blunt tipped swords with little armour switching between the Pell and their Sergeants to practise on real human beings.
Over the span of the week there is some improvement in both strengths and weaknesses, but this is an ongoing session that will take years to master.
A portrayal of each Cadet and Sergeant exposing their weakness and personalities within each panel. The Cadet’s ‘Will’ to become stronger as they train till sunset before starting a new day in the early hours of the next morning.
The evenings consist of a campfire of fresh meat and produce being cooked. The teams laughing, working out strategies, playing games and pranks in the background of what would be a happy time before reality could set in.

At the end of each day the Cadets will come out with scrapes, cuts, and bruises as they continue to learn and fight. Within each panel, sweat covered brow, exhaustion as they continue to push through. Each strike a chantation forms as Zero addresses them when he overlooks the progress.
Shoto get’s badly defeated by his brother Tetsuya, a look of determination to best his brother.
Chantation: “For Tyranny” - during the panel's victories, but not all become wins.
Training in the fields and open training grounds - obstacle course: pt 2
With Daisuke and Tadashi Improving and getting better with each day - a small montage of their improvements, switch of positions, the use of the obstacles around them from walls to open grounds. Switching ground space and levels to increase their training.
They form a bonding movement, equaling speed as they use their surroundings to dash towards one another. Daisuke grips hold of Tadashi’s hand creating the perfect tag team as he swings his body and throws the other's weight to take out the following obstacles in sight. Kei begins to add his small homemade robots that fire rubber bullets at ongoing movement, as Tadashi and Daisuke deliver the final blow.
Kei Narration: These will work, these will work, these will work! Stood behind cover, the boy lifts himself up onto one of the wooden obstacles, fingers clenched around the wood, eyes wide like plates. Kei shakes in excitement as he rocks back and forth.
Boom!
Tadashi and Daisuke’s Narration/Thoughts: We are stronger together!
Presentation of the new gear to the Cadets and Sergeants - Power Glider.
The Power Gliders are set out on a large slate just outside of the barn. A picturesque view with the sun setting on the Fifth day of training. Each Cadet and Sergeant is now presented with a Glider to call their own. The Power Gliders are new tech that has been equally designed and tested for the users to use during battle.
Kei Hirano and Zero are stood before the gliders, along with their Captains Kita and Wit as they are each presented the new tech in their outstretched hands on bended knee. The straps of the glider dangling in a loop on the ground.
Zero: “We are to keep planning ahead for the future.
Liberty will not go down easily.
As such, we are improving.
Thanks to Kei and I, we are developing the weapons that will enhance our wins.
You are the future”
Cadets: “Yes, Commander”
Panel of their eyes reflecting the glider that’s placed into their hands. A knowing look of the future and the power that is now held in their hands.
An Emperor's Rule.
The crowds of Liberators are heaving and growing in size as they crowd around a large stage. The stage has large panels of screens overlooking the crowds. The camera focuses on the Emperor as he approaches the stage.
TV stations, cameras flashing. Shura steps away from Hikari, the girl stands at the side watching her Daddy as he approaches the podium to address the crowd. Gloved hands reach to the microphone, tilting it to the right angle, he steps upon the podium.
Narration: It is the fifth day.
Some of the Liberators in the crowd hold banners of writing and images from the Shell that was on the news five days prior. The death count had reached the hundreds before the Shell was finally killed.
Shura: “Liberators, we are in mourning.
I grieve with you, our peoples' losses.
Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal.”
Shura pauses to look at the crowd, his hand outstretching before clenching into a fist.
Shura: “This event should not have happened on our watch…”
Liberator 1: “You failed us!”
Liberator 2: “You were meant to keep us safe!”
Liberator 3: “What if it happens again? Will you stop the Shell?”
Shura: “I know my power. I can turn back the clock, but I cannot undo what was meant to happen. My Power is to help MY people, no matter the cost.” he leans against the podium, hands outstretched, fingers curled against the material, grip tightening.
Liberator 3: “The cost is our people! Their lives are in your hands!”
Liberator 1: “You killed them!”
Shura: “I promise. I will make this City safe against every Glitch, Shell and Human that steps onto Liberty’s soil.”
Liberator 1: “How? It’s been five days and you haven’t done shit” restraint as the Liberator is held back by gloved hands from the Law.
Shura: “I can’t be everywhere all at once.
So from this moment onwards a team of Hero's will be my eyes and guard the city.
Rest assured, we will make Liberty safe again.
I will fight to keep OUR people alive.
The senseless death ends here.”
The crowd cheers over Shura’s announcement, lowering their banners as the Police step back. Liberator 1 isn’t entirely satisfied with his answer.
The Cameras continue to click with flashes of bright light, granting them the front page news. Hikari runs towards the podium as Shura steps down and takes her hand before waving at the crowd and leaving.
Training in the fields and open training grounds - obstacle course: pt 3
Tadashi’s panting, wiping the back of his hand against the sweat of his brow. Both have a dishevelled and yet satisfied look that their strength and speed has increased, but they both know that more training is to be done. They could at least defend themselves if anything was to go wrong during the cargo exchange. Sitting upon the hill that overlooks Tyranny, they glance back at each other, an etched smile stretched across cut and bruised faces.
Tadashi: “I’ve got your back, Brother” reaching over to nudge Daisuke by his shoulder.
Daisuke: “and I’ve got yours” he nudges him back with the same smile.
