High up in the sky, two armies faced each other, both armies comprised of hundreds of millions soldiers. If one looked closely at the soldiers, each and every single one of them is bursting with power. The aura and pressure exerted by a single solider is enough to crush a normal human being. So the combined aura of the entire army could only be imagined.
Below the two great armies, a group of massive monstrous creatures stood firm. And like the armies floating above them, the creatures also stood stock opposite of each other.
The creatures were thousands of miles tall. Their looks could not be described by words, they were simply hideous beyond description. Their bodies defied common sense. It could be said that if a mortal should ever set their eyes upon them, then they would be instantly gripped by insanity.
A single one of these large behemoths exerts more pressure than both armies combined.
At the forefront of both forces, a man and a woman stood polar opposite of each other.
The man had long black hair and was wearing a metallic black armor. Upon closer inspection, the surface of the armor has multiple carvings engraved on to it. The carvings are that of angels and demons, their faces contorted in agony.
The woman who stood opposite of the man had a completely different look. She was wearing a long blue gown that looked more appropriate for a ball than a war. She had long white hair that flowed down to her waist. Her face could only be described as a goddess amongst goddess's. Her beauty was enough to cause wars and topple nations.

"Is this truly the only option? Could we not have found a more peaceful solution to this?"
The woman spoke out. Her voice soft and soothing like clouds in the sky.
"You have already made your choice, you took your chances and sided with the elder gods"
Upon hearing the response, the woman sighed deeply and a sword suddenly appeared in her hands. She raised the sword pointing towards the man.
"It is my greatest regret that I would have to live in a world without you in it..."
The woman spoke with a tinge of sadness in her voice. As she finished speaking, she raised her sword and pointed it at the man in front of her.
Like this war had erupted. The two sides clashed, a kaleidoscope of colors enveloped the heavens. Down below, the earth shook as the titanic creatures fought. Each step made the entire world crumble.
The battle raged and the entire world was nearly destroyed. The war lasted for hundreds of days before reaching its conclusion.
As the dust settled, millions of dead bodies could be seen all around. The giant beasts laid flat on the surface of the world. Their blood spilling out forming a sea of blood.
In the middle of this carnage, a single person was kneeling while closely holding a body.
"Though our views may have differed, I did not hate you. I only wish that you saw things the way that I did, maybe we could have become companions for all eternity."
"I will ensure that all this sacrifice would not be in vain. I will create a world where this shall never happen again!"
The entire world shook and cracks began to form on space itself. It looked like the universe itself was going to shatter like glass.
"It was truly a pleasure to have crossed blades with you Eiya..."
The world crumbled all around them. Space itself shattered, the ground around them swallowed the bodies of all those who have fallen.
"This is the beginning.. of a new age."
