“…You’re being serious, aren’t you?” Arthur’s question was met with a singular raised eyebrow from the Guild Master named Shaun Fife.
“Serious as a heart attack. You were well aware that we’d be having you attend a United Nations meeting, why are you so surprised by this?” Shaun’s question was met with nods by five of the other six people in the room.
“You have a point, but why would the President want to meet me so early? And here, for that matter?” Arthur got to the meat of the matter with his final question, leaving Shaun scratching his head and looking around his office.
“Is there something wrong with my office? Should I get a refund from that cleaner?” Shaun tried deflecting the topic but given the blank stares from the six members of Einherjar, he clearly wasn’t getting it right.
“Okay… to make a long story short, President Clayton is an Adventurer geek.” That got a serious of slow blinks before the statement registered, drawing noises of confusion from the six.
“No joke, the President likes video games, anime, comics, all that, though he obviously doesn’t mention it often… who’d take someone like that seriously in his job?” Shaun admitted, leaving out that he was the one to get Clayton interested in those things…
And to think it all started because Shaun got pissed at the man for not knowing what a Dragon Ball was.
“So… what, because of how the Dungeon is similar to a role playing game in mechanics, he is interested in it?” Matt asked, wondering after considering how serious the President always looked in the videos of him…
It was difficult to connect that image with one of a nerd struggling on a level in a game like Etrian Odyssey or Disgaea.
Those were two of Matt’s favourite role playing games, despite their numerous issues.
“Not just interested, the President also occasionally goes into the Dungeon just because he can… It’s annoying because that means that his bodyguards have to be Adventurers of equal or higher level…” Shaun sighed in annoyance, letting the Einherjar members know how irritating that must be from the point of view of a bodyguard.
It’s hard to protect someone when they’d willingly walk into a den of wolves, literally in the case of the second Area of the Dungeon.
“Okay, so the President is making your jobs harder, and he’s a nerd, still doesn’t explain why he wants to meet with us so badly.” Michael cut to the point, and Shaun nodded, inwardly admitting that he hadn’t actively said why Clayton wanted to meet them.
“Well, as mentioned, Clayton likes video games, and he likens the Dungeon to a video game with high stakes. Considering you are the highest levelled people he has access to, he kind of looks up to you all as Adventurers.” These words got odd grimaces from each member of Einherjar…
It was like working for a rich CEO, and then being captain of the football team said CEO was on at the same time.
Indeed, as citizens of America the President was the ‘leader’ or ‘face’ of America, but when it came to Adventurers, only the strongest could lead…
Looking at it from the view point of an Adventurer, the meeting made sense, the man had the chance to talk to a stronger Adventurer team and get advice and he took it, not only that, but it also might give the man a chance to talk to Einherjar about the U.N meeting.
“Yeah, a bit of a whiplash in authority there, but you’d get used to it. In a Dungeon I order the President around as a fellow Adventurer, but outside, I’m one of his soldiers. Not that I enjoy going into the Dungeon with Clayton.” Shaun sighed as a knock on the door resounded.
Opening the door was Dante with a yawn, signs of how tired he was of the nightly Dungeon runs he and Shaun did.
Shaun had permanent panda eyes at this point.
“The President is here.” Dante said, opening the door wider and allowing another man to walk in.
He was immediately recognizable as Clayton Andrews, the President of America, one of his more noticeable traits was that he was of American Indian descent.
Which made no sense at times to Arthur… he had grown up knowing them as such, but he did have to wonder, if they were ‘Native American’ then wouldn’t that just be ‘American’… you wouldn’t call an Arab a ‘Native Arab’ would you?
However, Clayton’s outfit was very different from what he normally wore for interviews, namely that he was wearing comfortable leather armour and had two tomahawks latched on his lower back…
It set a tone for the meeting immediately, this wasn’t President Clayton, but Adventurer Clayton.
“Oh, it’s a pleasure to meet you all, I’m sure you all know me, but I am Clayton Andrews.” Clayton extended his hand to Arthur, showing that he already knew who was in charge of the team, and likely whatever information Shaun had on them at Clayton’s disposal.
“Likewise, I’m Arthur Clive, leader of Einherjar. This is Michael Grave, our archer and scout, Alice Grave, our warrior, Matt Jacobson our guardian, John Collins our healer, and Emilia Vasilievna, our assassin.” Arthur admitted without fanfare, introducing each member of Einherjar, said members nodding at their names being called.
“Again, I’m really pleased to be meeting you all… sorry about meeting you all with little to no warning; I don’t get a lot of time to myself these days.” Clayton’s complain was stated as he scratched his short black hair absently, inadvertently letting Arthur see that the President was a level twelve, likely due to being busy as he just mentioned.
“It’s alright mister President, you are our boss in a manner of speaking.” Arthur surprised his friends with how calm he was treating the meeting…
If they knew how Arthur was internally worrying beyond measure, that surprise would likely drop… but Arthur was a surprisingly good actor when he needed to be.
“Ah, you can call me Clayton, after all, I’m not in a suit right now.” The man joked, showing he had seen through the reason why Arthur was so comfortable with him.
“Alright then, Clayton, what is it you wanted to talk about?” Arthur asked, Clayton taking a seat on a chair next to Shaun’s own…
A roller chair at that… Arthur loved those, and judging by how Clayton immediately smiled and began turning back and forth, he liked them too.
No one really hated those things unless they weren’t on one.
“Right, well, I wanted to talk about the Dungeon a bit with you Arthur, if it isn’t too much trouble. I’m someone who likes theories, be they anything from ‘the sky is blue’ to ‘aliens built the pyramids’ I like hearing them.” Clayton’s smirk said something dangerous was about to be stated.
“And given what I know about the second Area of the Dungeon, I have reason to believe you have a few theories on the Dungeon by now, I got a few of my own just from hearing about that place, the Forest of the Maiden right?” Clayton asked Shaun who nodded… after looking up from his phone.
The man was playing Tetris while everyone else talked…
“Right, well, firstly, I wanted to mention two distinct possibilities, and hear your thoughts on them, as well as any thoughts you possibly have.” Clayton’s question got a nod.
“Good. Firstly, on the concept of Areas, with ninety nine areas and Hell itself as the one hundredth, we have one hundred Demon Lords or Bosses including Chronos himself. My theory is that each Area could possibly be a world on its own.” Clayton’s smirk showed his surety, leaving Arthur with a narrowed gaze.
“I won’t discredit that idea, but what gives you that certainty that it’s correct Clayton?” Arthur was starting to realize the nature of this meeting as it went on, Clayton was deferring to Arthur’s expertise, meaning Arthur had the ‘weight’ to talk to the President like this.
Surprised at being called out like that, but quickly recovering, Clayton removed a sheet of paper from his inventory.
“Partially, it’s because of what we know of how travelling in the Dungeon works, despite moving up or down through ‘floors’ you end up in a different part of the same Area. At this point we’re lucky the Adventurer Cards still register those parts as ‘floors’.” Clayton said, showing an image on the paper…
A badly drawn one of someone walking up stairs from floor one only to still be in floor one, just somewhere else… still, it got the idea across, even if it used stick figures.
“And secondly, it’s because of that Forest of the Maiden. It had a day and night cycle similar to Earth’s, but after checking, we can’t recognize any of the stars at night, we can’t even find the North Star.” Clayton’s second fact got wide eyes from Arthur who palmed his forehead.
“That does make sense, we’ve never journeyed into the Dungeon at night though we may start doing that eventually…” Arthur paused looking to Shaun for a moment.
“Unfortunately we can’t prove this until the third Area, and only if the third Area is open like the Forest. At that point, we could compare the skies of the Forest and the new Area, and we’d know for sure.” Arthur’s glance to Shaun, and the nod from the Guild Master showed that they understood each other.
Arthur would try and open the third Area, Shaun would go in at night and compare, using this data, they’d be able to determine whether this was just a guess or the truth.
“Hm, proof first before the decision is made, I like it… still, if it is true, then we must also consider the implications, we already know there are ninety nine Areas and then Hell’s Throne. That’s at a minimum ninety nine worlds of resources.” Clayton knew the weight of those words well, as did everyone else in the room.
The Earth was almost damaged beyond repair in two thousand and nineteen, with an estimated twelve years left before said point, and human civilization started more than a few thousand years before.
“Not quite, compare Area one to Area two, the Forest clearly had wood and animals to hunt in some manner, but the first is just a series of tunnels… there will certainly be more Areas with little to no resources… the only thing those places would offer would be free space, and considering we had a population problem…” Arthur’s use of the word had was important when considering Red Sky Day.
Their population was now roughly five billion and dropping slowly with every Adventurer that died… though a baby boom in a couple months could be expected.
People who survived Red Sky Day… well, it was a similar situation to what happened with people who nearly die in a disaster.
You get a new outtake on life, then you realize you don’t have as long as you think to have a child, or something to that effect.
There was some psychological thing about it, Arthur wasn’t quite sure on what it was though.
“I get it, having people live in these new Areas would be a nice way to spread the weight of humanity around…” Clayton considered before shaking his head.
“Wait, wait, we’re getting side-tracked, I had another theory I wanted to share with you… namely, it’s about the Dungeon and how it came to exist, well… it was clearly created in some manner, right?” Clayton tried to bring them back to the other topic of conversation and managed to succeed.
“Yeah… if it ties in with your previous theory, that means that some being or group of beings was capable of messing with space in such a way that they could travel between planets searching for something.” Arthur palmed his face, unknowingly getting Emilia and Alice behind him to point and mimic him to make fun of him.
Arthur was way too serious at times, and they were trying to get him to relax more.
“Exactly, the other proof of these beings are the runes lining the floor of Area two which creates the Dungeon paths. Someone had to have placed them there.” Clayton added, getting a nod from Arthur.
“I’ll admit I’ve thought about it myself, and while it could have been Chronos, I doubt it… So far we’ve found two runic patterns, one which prevents anything from entering or exiting its boundaries, and another which allows us in, but keeps monsters out.” Arthur added, speaking of the red and blue runes respectively.
“Yes, that’s another field of study we’ll be starting up soon, after all, if it was possible to create our own field of runes, wouldn’t a portable safe-zone be possible?” Clayton’s question drew a wide smile and nod from Arthur, who hadn’t thought of such a thing before…
Arthur actually considered that to be a failing of his, considering he was normally the one to bring up things like that…
But between Clayton and Arthur, Clayton was clearly better at exposition.
If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
“If it is, that would be a huge help to Adventurers, especially considering the very real possibility of the Dungeon increasing in size to the point that staying overnight would be necessary to travel through an Area.” Arthur added, a possibility Clayton clearly wasn’t aware of, judging by how his eyes lit up in consideration.
“I see… yes, that does make sense. It would also explain the necessity of an Inventory, to hold travelling supplies while maintaining the ability to move freely in a fight.” Clayton offered while the other people in the room began to understand what was happening…
“I guess Arthur finally ran into someone just as interested in those obscure things…” Emilia offered as she and the others watched Clayton’s back and forth conversation with Arthur.
“Hey, let’s go get some drinks while these two keep talking.” Everyone agreed with Michael’s suggestion, walking out, including Shaun who followed along, still playing Tetris.
The moment they were all gone, Clayton and Arthur’s expressions paused, realizing that there were no people listening.
“So, is there a reason you didn’t want the other members of your team to hear this part of the conversation?” Clayton asked, noting that Arthur had signalled Michael to take the others away.
“It’s because I’d rather I was the only one to mention this possibility to you, but what’s your stance on killing living creatures?” Arthur asked, confusing Clayton for a moment.
“Uh, for the most part it’s wrong unless in self-defence, but killing is a case by case thing.” Clayton admitted as Arthur stared at the president.
“Tell me something, on average, how many monsters do you kill in a Dungeon dive?” Arthur’s question was seemingly random getting a shrug from the president.
“I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure that my team kills over one hundred monsters by the end of the second or third floor, and we got up until floor eight recently… again, I’m not certain on the path of this conversation.” Clayton tried to get the answer out as Arthur sighed.
“Clayton… before the Dungeon, would you consider someone who kills one hundred living creatures a day normal or even remotely acceptable in any profession other than a butcher?” Clayton paused, realizing the implications.
“Wait… are you implying that the Dungeon affects our morality in some way?” Clayton asked as Arthur nodded.
“That is exactly what I’m saying… though not to a huge extent, being an Adventurer changes how we perceive the idea of killing an enemy.” Arthur said, leaning back in his chair.
“It lowers the inhibitions, less reluctance to slitting the throat of a creature, less guilt over blowing up a wolf’s skull. Of course, logically we know not to attack other humans, but given this lack of caring…” Arthur led getting a sigh from Clayton as the president of America palmed his face.
“So what you’re saying is that Adventurers as a whole, including myself, are the least reluctant killers in the world currently… but if that is the case, then why do we not have riots and Adventurer warlords popping up in Africa for example?” Clayton asked, hoping to pick the brain of the top Adventurer for an answer.
“Well I think the reason why is two-fold. For one part, the current status quo is acceptable, we go into the Dungeon, kill things, get stronger, and get paid for it. It’s simple and works for almost everyone.” Arthur paused while considering the other part.
“As for the second reason, it’s because of power. Adventurers are stronger than normal humans… but we aren’t stronger than a country.” Clayton realized the essence of the matter.
“Reluctance to face something bigger than themselves… even you, the strongest Adventurer, can’t stop bullets or survive fighting the army.” Clayton’s words drew a nod from Arthur who agreed.
“Yes, but we also need to consider that possibility, at some point we Adventurers wouldn’t even need armour to block bullets, and would be capable of such magic that we could fight back… in that case, the only deterrent would be a stronger Adventurer.” Arthur added, and the two agreed, with how Adventurers were shaping up, eventually they’d be walking city destroyers, especially if the level limit was much higher than one hundred like Arthur suspected.
“I see… in that case, I can only think that the Champion Program is the correct way to go.” Clayton’s were spoken aloud, but clearly not in conversation with Arthur, leaving Arthur to send Clayton a questioning glance.
“Oh, I believe you were told about the idea of Champions being representatives of countries right? Well, I was one of those who agreed on the idea, but mostly because I saw it long-term.” Clayton added, leaving Arthur thinking about it for a moment.
“…As Shaun mentioned, the Champions are there to be the first line of offence against the Demon Lords as well as Chronos, and with the reveal of the monthly attacks, should we fail, the Guild Leaders are to mount a defensive response all over the world…” Arthur was clearly just thinking aloud, leaving Clayton a moment to his own thoughts.
“One of the reasons you all want a Champion to be separate from the Governments… it’s to prevent hoarding, isn’t it?” Arthur’s question got a smirk from Clayton.
“Yes, by having an ‘unaffiliated’ Adventurer be the one to kill Chronos and thus become the Ruler of Hell, no one country can hold all those resources. Of course, assisting said Adventurer is acceptable, but the Champion Program does more than just give you good deals for armour and weaponry.” Clayton added with a sigh.
“The Champion Program is also to protect you Champions from external manipulation from any Government. I can’t force you to give America a huge amount of resources without the other countries going on my case. M.A.D in a manner of speaking.” Clayton explained, the Mutually Assured Destruction was the way to prevent wars so far, and now with new ‘weapons’ everyone needed to keep each other in check so no battles would be waged.
“You also can’t force me to fight for the country should we be attacked by another country, as my only enemy is Chronos and his Demon Lords.” Arthur added with a pointed look getting Clayton to raise his hands defensively.
“I wouldn’t, besides, I have Shaun for situations like that. He’s lazy and odd, but very effective.” Clayton admitted with a chuckle, and Arthur had to agree, Shaun was only a floor or two behind Arthur in regards to how deep in the Dungeon they were.
“Is there another reason you agreed to the Champion Program though?” Arthur asked, not quite believing that it was as simple as it appeared, getting a frown from Clayton.
“…I do have a personal reason for agreeing. I don’t want Shaun to be the one all the weight falls on.” Clayton admitted, getting a raised eyebrow from Arthur.
“Shaun was my CO in the military when I joined, he and I saved the life of the other more than once, and I trust him… but take it from someone who has seen war, it hurts.” Clayton said, an aging sigh falling from his lips.
“Shaun is my friend… I don’t want him to have to deal with any more responsibility than he has to. If it weren’t for him wanting the job, I would probably keep him away from the Guild Leader position too.” Clayton admitted getting a smirk from Arthur.
“I get it… To keep Shaun from this problem, you wanted a scapegoat?” Arthur’s question was rhetorical as Clayton smiled.
“Glad to see you understand. I look out for my friends Arthur, and between you, who I’ve only met today, and Shaun, I’m obviously going to work with my friend first.” Clayton said, standing with Arthur, as clearly their meeting was over to an extent.
“Loyalty is an admirable trait Clayton, it also lets me know that you aren’t a bad person, as long as I don’t do anything to threaten you and those you look out for of course.” Arthur returned as they exited the room, looking for Einherjar and Shaun.
Finding them near the small ‘bar’ in the building, the president and Arthur walked over…
It wasn’t a proper bar seeing as no alcoholic drinks were served, but it certainly looked like one.
No one wanted to drink alcohol before going into the Dungeon… though Shaun was working on getting alcoholic drinks for those exiting.
Dante was firmly against that idea on the belief that Shaun would never leave the bar.
“So, you finished your conversation? Anything we should know?” Matt asked as Arthur looked to Clayton.
“Nah, not much more happened since you guys were gone. I still need to know about when the U.N meeting is taking place though.” Arthur added, looking onto his conversation partner for the past twenty or so minutes.
“It’s planned for the seventeenth, three days from now. As for dress code, well, wearing your Adventurer outfit would be acceptable, if not, we can arrange suits and dresses.” Clayton offered, looking at the members of Einherjar as Arthur considered.
“Eh, I like suits, I’d be fine with those. Everyone else?” Arthur looked to his partners who all nodded, Alice and Emilia agreeing on the basis of getting dresses obviously… though Alice rarely if ever considered wearing dresses, preferring jeans and other loose pants.
“Great, Dante will make arrangements for your clothes. You’ll need to take your own transport there though.” Clayton added, knowing from what he’s heard from Arthur that Arthur would actually be against getting a lift…
John raised his hand, as did Michael and Alice, those three not having their own transport methods, silenced by Matt elbowing John and Emilia twirling the keys of her BMW.
There, transport was sorted.
“Okay, we’ll be meeting at nine, but be there around half past eight to go over everything, okay?” Clayton asked, and the six Adventurers nodded, getting a smile from Clayton.
“Good, everything is sorted for now… there is one last thing I forgot to mention though.” Clayton said, thinking to himself before nodding and pointing to Shaun.
“Shaun, you haven’t made public the Kingdom system yet?” Clayton asked as Shaun notably looked away from the questioning eyes of the President.
“…No, I haven’t. It’s not like it’s entirely necessary, right?” Shaun’s question was met with a blank stare from Clayton as Shaun began to sigh, realizing that his argument was ignored.
“Right, Shaun, you should eventually get around to making that public. Anyway, Arthur, as you heard, we were talking about the Kingdom system, Kingdom’s are basically the guilds from games, it’s a step up from the six man teams, and Kingdom’s can hold a huge amount of people, but the minimum is twelve.” Clayton’s words got wide eyes from Arthur, the others not quite getting the idea.
Oh, they understood that more teams could be formed, and that Kingdoms were gatherings of two or more teams, but they hadn’t grasped the reason why Arthur was palming his face yet.
“So what you’re telling me is that at some point the Dungeon gets big enough, or dangerous enough, that Kingdoms would be necessary. There would be little to no other reason for the existence of such a thing, considering we can just meet up outside the Dungeon and decide to work together.” Arthur added, and Einherjar collectively groaned.
Arthur had the bad(?) habit of making predictions as to what would happen in the Dungeon, and then having those predictions come true.
“I was thinking the same thing, perhaps we’ll start to consider the Demon Lords as ‘raid bosses’ at a certain point. Another reason I brought them up is because they are kind of restricted.” Clayton chuckled nervously, looking to Shaun to explain.
“Currently, Kingdoms can only be formed by those with a level higher than ten. For every ten levels, another ‘team’ can be brought into the Kingdom, not counting the original team. As such, with a level over thirty, you should be able to form a Kingdom out of four teams, or twenty four people.” Arthur looked a bit awkward at that, getting confused looks from Clayton and Shaun while the Einherjar members laughed.
“Arthur doesn’t have a lot of friends… I doubt we’re going to be forming a twenty four man Kingdom randomly.” Michael offered, getting nods from Clayton and Shaun.
“Yeah… if I didn’t force him to, I doubt Shaun would have even tried to gather members for a Kingdom.” Shaun rolled his eyes, Shaun having his own twenty four member Kingdom.
“Yeah, they’re hoping I’ll reach a high enough level to bring every Guild employee into my Kingdom… an impossibility, but Clayton has dreams.” Shaun sent a small glare to the President who just ignored the look.
“Anyway, we’re giving you the option… we don’t really let people know about this because of the level ten limitation, and because we don’t want a group we don’t know about.”
Clayton’s words reminded Arthur of their conversation held away from the other listeners and Arthur nodded, understanding his thoughts.
“If ever you run into a team that interests you and you want to give them the offer, creating a Kingdom just involves going into the entrance room with two full teams and having someone over level ten denote themselves as ‘King’ to the podium. Oh, and naming the Kingdom of course.” Clayton reminded, because of course, if teams needed a name then obviously a Kingdom would need one.
Arthur felt a shiver run down his spine at the option of people having to kneel towards the ‘King’ to join a Kingdom… that sounded terrifying, and he was so glad that was not what happened.
“For Kingdoms, we’ve found that if the teams of one Kingdom enter the Dungeon from the same point, they can run into each other during their Dungeon runs, helping each other. Of course, the experience would only go to the team that gets the final hit in a fight though.” Clayton warned for Arthur and his group’s sake.
“Well that makes it a bit interesting… what about Demon Lords, have you seen what happens when two teams enter the Demon Lord chamber at the same time?” Arthur asked, thinking about the possibility.
“We’ve confirmed that even if the teams entered from different Dungeons they’d enter the Demon Lord room at the same time, even if the teams weren’t related… of course, it is possible for both teams to face the Demon Lord together and in this case the experience is shared, or for the teams to take turns.”
Clayton’s explanation cleared up that confusion, and Arthur was glad that they had the presence of mind to check that out… how annoying would it have been to find out about that by surprise?
Arthur could just imagine it…
“Well, that’s pretty much all we really needed to talk about here… you all are free to head into the Dungeon now you know?” Clayton offered as Einherjar collectively stood after a moment to finish their drinks, nodding to Clayton in greeting.
“Thanks for the conversation, I needed to voice some of that… I’ll be seeing you on Monday?” Arthur offered as he shook Clayton’s hand.
“Definitely, see you then, Champion of America.” Clayton half-joked as Arthur scoffed, walking away to the Dungeon Entrance after signing in with Ellie.
“So, how is he?” Shaun asked as the six Adventurers stepped into the Entrance room, Clayton sitting next to his friend.
He was so thankful that most people didn’t recognize Clayton in his current getup.
“Interesting, and he looks deeper into things than most people… he seems like the type who would look at a fire and ask ‘why does it burn’ and so on.” Clayton’s comment drew a nod from Shaun.
“Yeah, constantly thinking and looking to understand, seems fitting. Otherwise, he’s a bit… odd, in his personality.” Shaun offered, Clayton shrugging, taking a sip of some juice.
“Eh, I didn’t catch it, he acts like you but less sarcastic. And without the drinking problem.” Clayton joked as Shaun glared at his long-time friend.
“You know I can only drink here… if I drank at home then Sera would kill me.” Clayton openly laughed at that admittance, agreeing with Shaun’s statement, Sera was not to be crossed.
She liked drinking almost as much as Shaun, but given the passenger in her stomach, drinking was a no-go for…
“Hey, how far along is she anyway? And any idea on whether or not she’s going to have a boy or girl?” Clayton asked, having not actually asked about his friend’s child, due to a combination of forgetfulness and being too busy.
“She’s seven months along, we’re leaving the gender as a surprise. Though if it’s a boy I name him, if it’s a girl then Sera will.” Shaun said, Clayton gave his friend a mock worried look getting Shaun to scoff.
“What, I can name him just fine.” Clayton didn’t trust that, Shaun was the same guy who wanted to name his dog ‘Tim the Terrible’. Said dog was a massive pit-bull by the way.
“I’ll believe that when I see you give a normal name to anything. I still remember you trying to buy a hearse so you could say you rode with death.” Clayton’s words drew laughs from Shaun who still thought it was a good idea.
Both of them knew that Shaun’s habit of ‘bad names’ was on purpose, as Shaun only made suggestions like those in the presence of people who would stop him.
“Good times… see you Monday, boss.” Shaun said, standing with Clayton as Clayton nodded, giving each other a quick fist bump.
“See you Monday Shaun.” Clayton walked outside, the armoured car waiting to take him away…
He had his own Dungeon time to think about after all.
