After Juan's suggestion everyone is dubious, but thanks to Jesper and Kenneth everyone agreed, albeit reluctantly.

Jesper: "Thank's for the suggestion, I hope it will lighten the mood. Um..."

Juan: "Its Juan. Don't need to thank me. It's an emergency after all."

Jesper: "Still, thank you Juan. I'm also hungry after all! I almost forgot ahahaha. "

If that mood continues I think even I will get depressed. Plus I can't have them turn to useless bums. In this situation we need manpower especially for that "Territory Quest".

Everyone went to the cafeteria counter to get some food. As they neared the counter everyone can hear a faint sound coming from beyond it. All of them tensed. Jesper with soft steps, moved closer to the counter and everyone followed. At the end of their vision, they found... a sleeping person. Its one of the cooks of the cafeteria, a middle aged man named Fernando Fanala. He's sleeping in a reclining chair, he's even slightly snoring with a loose expression in his face like there's nothing wrong in the world.

Now that I think about it, the cafeteria is open when we arrived so its natural there is someone inside but still. How the hell can this guy still sleep? Through all this chaos? Even with that loud scream earlier? Now, I know its still only just a bit over 20 minutes since all this ridiculous situation started but why still asleep? Don't tell me its because the rain damped the sound. The rain sure is loud but not that loud!

Jesper: "Its the cook, and he's sleeping."

Juan: "Yeah I can see that."

Kenneth: "He looks peaceful."

Everyone is a little dumbfouded by the sleeping cook but because of it the students tension lowered just a little bit. Some had their expression soften while some just sighed. Its a good situation.

Jesper went and tried waking up the cook by calling him from the counter but to no avail. He went over the counter and tried shaking the cook off of his slumber. It took a lot of shaking and the cook slightly opened his eyes and looked at Jesper.

Jesper: "Good Afternoon sir Fernando. "

Fernando: "Ah its the president, Good Afternoon."

The cook sits up and looked in his surroundings. He's a little surprised to see a lot of students close to the counter but he calmed down after a while with a nod.

Fernando: "So its already lunchtime huh."

The cook is about to stand when his expression looked a little surprised and he whispered "Territorial Quest?" while stroking his beard.At that moment Jesper volunteered to explain the situation to him and what they're about to do now. Fernando listened while changing his expression to surprised, skeptical and finally grim. Fernando with a firm nod stood up and said to everyone to get some trays and plates. Thus he began serving everyone the food that he already prepared for a supposed tobe usual peaceful lunchtime.

Juan: "Hmm..."

Similar to a game I also have status huh. I tried thinking of commands from RPG's as many as I can think of but it seems only "Status", "Quest", and "Skill Details" work . Too bad the "Pause" command doesn't work. I wonder if "Party" commands work. I want to try but I don't have anyone to invite. 

Juan: "Hmm, this curry is delicious."

When most of the students is done eating, Jesper stood up and faced them.

Jesper: "Okay, everyone now that almost everyone is done eating, let's continue our discussion from before."

At that words the atmosphere tensed, but not so heavy compared to a little while ago.

Jesper: "As I said before we need to confirm and have a clearer understanding of our current situation. And as everyone have already guessed, we're in a middle of a something trial called "Apocalypse"."

The atmosphere got a little heavier.

Jesper: "But that's not our problem, thats for the adults and the government to handle. There is also that "Territory Quest" but our current problem is food and security. We currently have enough food to last all of us for 5 days that is assuming we conserve and the electricity services don't go down. Now if it goes down then we can only last for 3 days including today, we're going to distribute the food assuming this scenario and serve food that might spoil without the fridge and conserve snacks and goods that last long."

Jesper readjusted his glasses.

Jesper: "Now any good ideas for our next course of action?"

Everybody looked down with different expressions, some looked lost while some looked comtemplating on something and some talked with their friends. Among that crowd only one person looked up in the cieling as if he's eyes pierced it, looking in the distant skies.

It can't be helped, I'll say it. Our current situation is similar to mountain weather, you never know when it might go worse. Time is precious so we need to be decisive, its for survival!

Juan: "I think we need to set clearing the "Territory Quest" as a goal."

Everyone looked at Juan with surprised and dubious expressions.

Juan: "To do that we need to beat monsters and get stronger and while doing that we might find a solution for our food problems."

Grace: "Are you serious!? You're saying we need to fight those savage monsters? There's no way a normal person could beat them!"

Juan: "While I agree a normal person can't do that but I think we can because we're not normal anymore."

Everyone looked at Juan with confused expressions.

Juan: "Try saying "Status" while thinking of yourselves."

Everyone looks skeptical, but when Jesper tried it, everyone also did the same. To their surprise a blue window revealed itself in front of them.

Juan: "That blue screen you see in front of you is what you are now. While that may not be enough to fight those savage monster that vice pres spoke of I think we can at least handle some of those slimes that chased the others here. Plus there's no guarantee that this place will be safe forever. What are we going to do if something we can't handle attacked this place? Run off somewhere else? Where? Plus our food is here, we can't just abandon the cafeteria. What do you think?"

Everyone is thinking hard but they still look scared of the outside world, except some.

Kenneth: "I think its a good idea. There really is no knowing this place will be always safe and its better to at least do something than nothing right everyone?"

Leonard: "Its a good idea."

Eusabelle: "We... well if you say so, it can't be helped."

Alma: "Do we really have to do it?"

Aileen: "Don't worry I'll protect you!"

Well I expected this but still, only Kenneth's group?

Boy: "If your going outside to fight then we'll join you."

Oh, three boys who have a determined look in their eyes. They will be reliable.Hmm, how about pres?

Jesper: "Its a good idea and I want to go with you but..."

Jesper looked at the other students  especially Grace.

Heh, so that's how it is.

Juan: "I understand its ok. The same goes for the others but remember this, the world has changed and if we don't try to change to adapt in this world we'll all die."

Everyone just looked down and they look like they're contemplating something.

Hmm, if we do a good job and show everyone our success it might improve their morale. I need to work hard huh.

Juan: "Mr. Fernando can we borrow some knives?"

Fernando: "Its okay but should I also go with you lot?"

Juan: "Really? Thanks, that will be really helpful."

Fernando: "Okay lad, but there's not enough knives for everyone."

Juan: "Its okay we can use the mops."

Juan went to get the mops, place the head in the floor, he raised his foot and stepped of the neck of the mop.

*crack*

Juan: "This should do it. To those who don't want the knives you can do the same to the mops."

With preparations done the group of brave ones went to face the entrance door. 1 grown man with a butcher knife, 5 boys with kitchen knives and 3 girls with a boy holding a wooden staff.

From a strangers point of view we definitely look like criminals, especially serial killers with the knives heh. Still, so we can form a party but only up to 6 people huh. We divided the groups in half so its 5 member per party but I can only see the HP and MP bar of my party members, its a little inconvenient we can't see Kenneth's party members.

Kenneth: "Do we go now?"

Juan: "Ah, its a good time. Haven't you noticed? The sound of raindrops stopped a while ago. So let's go hunt some slimes."

Juan unlocked the door and opened it. He looked straight ahead with firm determination in his eyes. Same goes for everyone.

Everyone: "..."

What entered their vision is a scene they never expected...
