We had done many of the gold-tier quests but we had advanced to platinum when we killed the giant centipede, but we had decided to do the slightly easier quests of gold rank, we sat at a table talking to a possible client since they were rich and had a minor infestation of goblins in their holiday house and they wanted us to take care of it, but we were bargaining for a higher price and when we were about to as I think get a higher price a short woman with white hair walked over and said "I would like to join your adventuring party" I looked to the clients and said "can you give me a minute to discuss with this person" they nodded and when vexx was about to get uo and stoped him and said "why don't you write our adventuring team down for taking the mission" he nodded and the couple took out a paper and I don't know if he signed it because I walked outside with the woman "Dont you know the unspoken rule of adventuring" the chances were I wouldn't accept her since she didn't respect that rule, "Well I think I could be a good fit with your team since you don't have a healer" I shooke my head "it doesn't matter what my team doesn't have its more about how you act and you seem like the type to try to rush us to finish a mission and end up getting us killed" she seemed to understand that she wasn't getting on our team and stormed off, when I turned around a woman seemed to be waiting for me "Hello are you Joel Blade of the brightblades" I nodded "and you are" she extended her hand "I am Seraphina and would like to help with your current mission" she understood how to try to get on a team and seemed patient "Ill let you go on a mission we just accepted, but your not getting paid" she nodded and then I walked into the inn where we had been talking with the client.

we had just finished the tour of the entire place which was huge, they had also showed us to the berries where we would be staying for until we had gotten a high enough rank, then Azura walked by and said "once you complete the basic training ill let you be a higher rank since I personally choose you few" I nodded and then said "Thank you, but what exactly would a higher rank give me" he thought for a second "going on more dangerous missions with the elite squads" I then said "So now what" then the person who had given us the tour opened his mouth to speak but Azura said "ill explain it from here, your dismissed for now" our tour nodded and then Azura said "so our goal is to make sure another war like the one that happened 400 years ago doesn't happen again so we kill demons that could be considered demon lords, we also stop anything that could cause more chaos in the world" I nodded and said "So why weren't the seven sins killed or destroyed" he sighed "it would cause an upset of the balance in the world likely causing a powerful demon lord to rise up and we don't know how powerful that demon lord would be" I understood now "So when will we start our training?" he smiled and said "well depends do you want to be on the normal unit or the Elite unit" I thought and then said "what are their jobs" he nodded and put a hand on my shoulder "So the basic training would allow you to help during a basic encounter with a demon of normal variety along with helping civilians during a prolonged altercation" he took in a breath and then continued "With the Elite unit you would be actively fighting demon lords and high ranking villains, and the completion rate for its training is very low because we don't want people to get hurt from a weak link" I nodded and then said "ill take the Elite training then" then Nyx said "same" and then Zara nodded "same" he smiled and then said"your training will start 2 days from today so prepare yourself mentally and physically"
