A New World

The wind blows through the forest trees, a man with black hair and a jacket was lying there unconscious. He starts to wake up, groaning as he opens his eyes.

"Uhg, what happened?" He said annoyed more than anything. He gets up and looks around to where he found a forest. He looked in shock like he's never even stared at a forest or even wildlife.

The black-haired guy walked the forest, trying to find some kind of trail or civilization. He had no idea what happened or where he was now. Before he was at a city full of advanced technology.

About an hour later he ran into an open field that had a walled-off town in the distance.

"Huh that seems familiar" He was calm as he walks over to the walled area.

He gets to the gate to where he was stopped by to guards in knight armor. He was thrown iff by this, but wouldn't try investigating until he got inside as doing that now could make it hard for him to get in.

"Hold it stranger, you may not enter till you say your intention why you here" The guard says to the black-haired teen.

"I'm uh, I'm just traveling and need a place to stay," He said with a calm tone.

The guard stares at him, analyzing him trying to find out if he was lying in any way.

They let out a sigh "You may enter"

The gate opens with a loud sound from the guards pushing the large wooden gate open. He would then walk into the town.

"Are you sure it was ok to let him through, he was wearing some strange attire?" The other guard asks the one who let him in.

"Yes I'm sure, he didn't seem to show any bad attention, even with his scary face" The guard chuckles out.

The teen would make their way around searching, everything was so strange to him. Nothing was like his old home, he knew it was some kind of old age but didn't think it was time travel.

He then made it too, two grown men picking on a girl and boy. This made him annoyed that they were in his way. He walked towards them and spoke.

"Hey, you're in my way" He said to them trying to get the reaction it was obvious he would get from some low lives picking on those weaker than them.

"Huh, and who are you supposed to be?"

At first look, he wasn't in the best shape but had a some was a cold and scary face.

The black-haired teen chuckles as a small smile appear on his face then turns into a frown, then a big grin before saying.

"The names Echo, and I'm the one who's going to push you out of my way" He says with a grin on his face.

"Uh, were we supposed to know who you are?" The low life says to him.

"No, not really, but why don't you two, wobble your way out" Echo grins.

The two low lives look at each other and laugh. "Oh really, and what are you going to do about it?" They say to Echo.

Echo just stud there, he then laughs like it's been a while. The two were a bit freaked out by this and take a step back. It felt like they were in the presence of a monster by how he just laughed.

The two low lives gather enough courage and step forward ready to attack. He then stares at the two making them flinch.

"What are we doing, we shouldn't be this scared by this kid," One of them says.

"Pff, kid. Really now? Maybe you shouldn't call other kids with the way your acting, I mean wow. Even I don't have the ego you do to talk like that" He scolds the two and starts to walk forward, towards the two.

The to were a bit afraid and grabs one of the kids and pulls out a knife to the kid.

"Stay back or else!" The low life says, the kid terrified and shaking.

"Or what, going to slice the kid up?" He kept walking towards them.

"Yes," The low life was shaking.

"Go ahead, but what are going to do when your shield is gone?" He says.

"I said to stay back!" The low life then goes to move the knife. He then was blown back by Echo, He was able to get in front of them without them reacting. They flew back into the dirt causing it to create dust. 

"Ouch!" He screams from the impact with the dirt. They look in front of them, but Echo wasn't there. 

"Hey, im right here. Pay attention" Echo was behind him now. He felt a cold shiver from fear. 

Just who is this guy!  He thinks to himself in terror. 

He gets up and stumbled back and decides to beg "We're sorry let us go" He gets on his knees begging him. 

"Huh? You want me to let you go? Now that you know you're so weak" He slams his foot into his face, slamming it into the ground. 

"Come on now, don't make me laugh" He said coldly, pressing his face into the dirt with his foot. 

Approached them and speaks out "hey, why don't you just stop it right now" A female voice says out to Echo. 

Echo turned over to the girl annoyed "What? I'm just teaching them to respect others girl" 

The girl walks up eight feet away now "How, with violence?" She says. Echo stops to look at her, she seemed to be wearing a cloak and was a mage of some kind. She has light blue hair and eyes. 

She lifted her staff with a gem at the end of it 

"Now ill ask you to stop this now"
