Synopsis
Light and Dark are balanced in power, equals intended to share the cosmos and fulfill the divine mechanisms that allow existence to persist. Their curiosity led them to take on human forms, as avatars of the divinities these cultures worshiped, respected, and upheld.
Then the Dark disappeared. Their divine aspect was unaffected, but their human existence ceased. In spite of the Light's insistence that they would return, the world moved on. The Dark became a legend rather than a person; their beloved elements of magic reduced to Death, War, and Chaos.
At a routine governmental speech, Auron, the embodiment of the Light, is assassinated. His body is still warm when a flash of magic erupts, introducing the world once again to the Dark.
Eccentric Adoration illustrates the lives of two deities and the humans that love them, how the world copes with the loss of the Light and reintroduction of the Dark, who is all too nervous to be back.
