Morgan was sitting in his chair, waiting for the system to finish installing. Well, he wasn't just waiting, he was reading web novels. So basically nothing was happening. It was a large install, and the people who had brought the pod came by the week before, installed it, and got him set up with the system. Ebon Sky was supposed to be a full dive game, with every NPC being AI. Though, from the trailer it sounded a lot like a massive game of D&D. But, hey, that sounds like fun.
After aboout 4 hours the game finally finished installing, so, Morgan hoped into the pod and started it up, grinning.The screen turns on, starting as black and slowly becomeing a landscape with a dark sky, almost black. Hence the name of the game, though, supposedly there was going to be a way to fix the whole sky issue via "beating" the game. Who knows at this point? As the title screen loads fully with the name "Ebon Sky" infront of his eyes, he accepts, and is brought into a white room, with an avatar of him in front of him. It looks just like him. 5'6, emerald green dyed hair, one blue and one green eye, and a cassualy athletic build. fit, but the kind of fit that is just to keep healthy and not more. Its just text boxes, of a blue light, telling him what to do. So, he changes it slightly. His face more angular then round, but keeping some imperfections, moving his height to 5'8, not much of a difference but he didn't want to be completely different. Changed to a more majyk based build. well, steryotyped majyk build. He changed his eyes to silver and violet, with his hair changing to mid back length titanium colour. His build looks neutral, neithr male or female, but his face was clearly leaning to the male side. With that, he accepts and is brought into the world, and begins in a summoning circle, based in the middle of seemingly nowhere. there were 5 others, though, he didnt get a chance to speak to them before everyone was taking hold of. One of the men grinned sadisticly.

"Finally! We managaed to intercept a summoning. This will do nicely for us. Now, let us see what we can do about them." The strange man said, before dark energies twirled around them, and a tugging was felt. Morgan looked around in fear, before his body slumped to the side, not able to move at all. ONe of themen nod, and someone picked him up, carrying him off and tossing him into a pit. A deep pit. Seems like they failed with him, so they disposed of him. While he was falling, he felt himself leave his body, before a white light flashed, and his mind banked fully.

Back in his house, well, what is soon to be left of his house, a bright flash happens, and his body disappears, before the entire house catches up in flame. Yup, majyk. Nope, no one knows what happened. The house burned in minutes, before the fire department got there, it was starting to crumble.

Now, back to his soul. It was being brought to a new body, one where the real Ebon Sky existed. The realm it existed in was called Asterlor, though thats all the knowledge known at the moment. His soul didn't even know the name of the kingdom or empire he was in. And so, he was brought into a newborn child. well. one being borne, with most of his memories about how stuff worked in his world. Though, wether it will help or not remains to be seen. His mother smiles down at him as he's born and looks at a man standing by the door.
"His name will be Stemin."Her voice sounded like a melody. He was borne into a noble family known as the Shorkuz family.
And this is where his story begins, as a mage, a demi human, and maybe, a god. Or not! He may just become a majyk smith. Well, lets begin his journey together.
