Hearing the birds chirp and having the sun shine on his face, Kenta wakes up refreshed and ready to go. He hops out of bed, leaves his room and walks down stairs.
“Good morning Kenta.” Kaede says, “I hope you slept alright.”
“Yeah, I slept well.” Kenta answers, “I really needed a goodnight sleep.”
“Well that’s good to hear.” Kaede says while smiling, “If you’re looking for Hachi, then don’t worry, he’s just outside work the farm, I’m sure he’ll be back in a while. In the meantime, why don’t you eat some breakfast, we still have some left-over rice from last night.”
“Sure, I’d love some.” Kenta responds as he sits down at the table.
Slowly eating the rice and drinking water, he finishes his meal.
*creak*
The door opens and in comes Hachi. Sweaty and dirty from early morning’s work, he sees Kenta finishing breakfast.
“Good morning Kenta.” He says, “I hope ya’ slept well, ‘cause we have a big day ahead of us.”
“Yeah, I slept well.” Kenta answers, “And what do you mean, we have a big day ahead of us? What do you have planned?”
“Well considering ya’ new around these part, I thought I’d take ya’ through the village and get ya’ familiarised with the place.” Hachi kindly explains.
“Oh, thanks.” Kenta replies.
“I’ll go get ready and when I’m back we’ll head off.” Hachi states as he walks upstairs.
…
5 minutes later, Hachi returns.
“Alright, let’s go.” Hachi says.
Nodding in acceptance, Kenta gets up and follows him out the door. As Kenta gets outside he looks at the cart he left here yesterday. Its empty.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
“Hey, Hachi did the fish get stolen?” Kenta inquires.
“Hahaha. No, they didn’t get stolen.” Hachi replies, “The friend I told ya’ about came by last night to pick them up, so they can be sold in the markets. That reminds me, hold on a second while I go put the cart away.”
Kenta watches as Hachi pulls the cart towards the barn.
…
“Who are you really?” Isamu asks as he comes out the door and stands in front of Kenta. “You better not be one of those bandits.”
“Bandits? What bandits?” Kenta questions curiously.
“Don’t play dumb, everyone knows who the bandits are.” Isamu retorts, “Only a bandit, would pretend to not know about them.”
*Smash*
Isamu kicked a stone lying on the ground towards Kenta. Kenta narrowly dodging, realises that it hit the glass window behind him, shattering it.
“Oi, kid what was that for?” Kenta asks angrily.
“You’re just a no-good bandit.” He replies.
Seeing all this transpire as he was walking back from the barn, Hachi runs over.
“Isamu! What are you doing?” Hachi asks his son.
“Dad, I’m trying to protect us!” He replies, “This guy is a bandit.”
“What nonsense!” Hachi strictly says, “Isamu, go to your room, I will discuss this with you when I get back.”
Frustrated Isamu goes inside, back to his room and slams to door shut.
*Bang*
It can be heard outside.
“I’m, so sorry for the way my son acted.” Hachi says apologetically, “I don’t know what’s got into him.”
“If he does it again, I mightn’t be so nice.” Kenta states.
“Understandably so.” Hachi replies, “I’ll be back in a minute.”
Hachi walks in the house, comes back with a broom and a dust pan, and begins sweeping up the glass. As he finishes and walks away, a piece falls unbeknownst to him.
Kenta seeing this immediately gets an idea. Walking over Kenta picks up the glass and puts it in his mouth. He chews it shattering it inside his mouth, cutting him all around. The now glass dust, shreds his throat as he swallows it. He loses 1 health but gains it back again in a minute.
*Ding*

Skill gained.
Glass ninja: The ultimate stealth technique is to not be seen. You have gained the ability adopt the properties of glass. Using this will allow you to become 90% transparent, unless people are looking for you, most will not notice you. They can still hear you and see the affects you have on the environment e.g. shrubs moving. (This also applies to any inanimate object you are wearing or holding)
---
I guess I can try this out now.
With just a thought, Kenta activated glass ninja and his body, like the description said, turn transparent. Although just like glass you can still barely see it.
“Alright Kenta sorry, for all the troubled.” Hachi says as comes back. “We can head off now…”
As Hachi comes back, he sees that Kenta is no longer there.
“Hey, Kenta! Where’d ya’ go?” he says loudly.
As Hachi is looking in the opposite direction, Kenta quickly deactivates glass ninja, and appears behind him.
“Sorry, I was just looking at the broken window from the inside.” Kenta lies.
“Hahaha, No worries.” Hachi says with a smile, “Now that everything is sorted, lets head off.”
