Devon isn't quite happy with his life, but he's accepted that nothing grand will ever happen to him, and he is almost content to live a boring life until death takes him. So when he drowns horrifically, one of the last things he expects after death is a dark cave and a status screen. But the world is indifferent to his opinion of what the afterlife should be, and it dumps him into a world of unnatural monsters and strange abilities. Devon isn't sure how exactly he's going to survive the new world, but he does know one thing: he wants to explore it to the fullest.
