Chapter 7

Ragnar walked through dark corridors around the underground river, his eyes searching for signs of the flower he was looking for. With every breath he took, his body felt weaker from the effects of the poison raging inside him. Each step felt like an unbearable burden, but his strong determination forced him to keep moving.

Ragnar's eyes continued to scan every crevice in the walls, looking for the red flower with white spots that was a crucial clue. The Guhan flower, as it was called, was Ragnar's only hope to neutralize the poison paralyzing his body. Without it, he would not be able to survive much longer in this dark and dangerous cave.

The longer he searched, the harder it became to hold up his weak body. Ragnar had to support himself by walking while holding onto the wall, relying on the last remaining strength within him. Every second felt like a futile effort, but Ragnar persisted, driven by a strong desire to survive and defeat the poison threatening him.

Finally, after a long and exhausting search, his eyes caught a dim light emanating from a cluster of red flowers in front of him. Ragnar found the Guhan flower he was looking for, but his joy was quickly replaced by astonishment when he saw a Goblin standing right next to the coveted plant. Ragnar's eyes narrowed in nervousness, and he bit his lip hard until blood flowed, restraining his overflowing anger.

Without hesitation or further thought, Ragnar immediately leaped forward. With his last strength, he ran towards the unexpected Goblin. His footsteps echoed in the cave, making the Goblin quickly notice and react, then turn around.

"Gieek!" The Goblin's scream created a frightening echo in the dark corridors. Ragnar quickened his pace, swinging his sword towards the Goblin's neck with impressive speed. However, the Goblin, with incredible agility, managed to dodge Ragnar's attack, although not entirely successfully. The Goblin's ear was cut off, and cries of pain filled the dark air.

"Gieekkk!" The Goblin's cries of pain shattered the silence. Ragnar did not give his enemy a chance to recover. Quickly, he swung his round shield, slamming the Goblin's head hard with the edge of the shield. The Goblin was thrown down, knocked over by the force of Ragnar's blow.

With burning courage, Ragnar immediately aimed his sword at the fallen Goblin's neck. With a sharp movement, his sword pierced the Goblin's skin, ending its life quickly. The Goblin's blood splattered, and its body lay limp on the cave floor, marking Ragnar's victory in the dangerous battle. With labored breaths and blood still flowing from the wound on his lip, Ragnar took the Guhan flower he had long sought, feeling relieved that his crazy plan had succeeded.

With hope filling his heart, Ragnar stepped back and grasped the plant. The Guhan flower, with its distinctive black stem, stretched out before him, and Ragnar quickly took the Monster Core, before rushing back to the underground river.

Ragnar ran with weakening steps, heading back to the middle of the cave towards the underground river. In his heart, the determination to use the Guhan flower as quickly as possible guided every move. His body began to tremble violently, and the poison spread faster with Ragnar's hurried steps.
