On the continent of Araponza, much of the youth is raised to take on the dangers of the island, killing monsters, escorting people and goods, and scouting information. Matthew Baronia is an up-and-coming prodigy, born to an already pretigous family. With the help of his friends, he can do anything. But for Lukas Baronia, Matthew's younger brother, those words only remind him of his curse. Born without mana, Luke is looked down upon by family and strangers, with no one coming to his aid. His only comfort is that his brother will always protect him, but that time is fleeting; he needs to find the solution to his problem, or at least a method of circumventing his issue. Little does Luke know the malicious gaze watching over him.
