Synopsis
Dungeons are alive and much like most alive creatures, they have goals. Most of dungeons goals are simply to survive, while others want to research or try new things as a dungeon. Some enjoy building caverns and filling them with challenges so that sentient creatures can try to overcome them (<--- Much like a DM). The other aspect of dungeons that is normally overlooked is that dungeons can reproduce. Dungeons can make other dungeons much like a dungeon creature, however, for a dungeon to grow it must have its own area of influence. This means that when one dungeon make another, the new dungeon is placed either at the edge of the parent's influence or completely outside. Dungeons choose to reproduce mainly for survival, if it is to divide attention between two dungeons or to make one dungeon "safer" than the other. This is a story of one such dungeon, made on the outside of the parent's influence.
