I was happy I lived with my family. We are very poor we lived on the outskirts of the city our house was small with a dirt floor. My name is james I'm 18 years old I worked for the government in cleaning. I cleaned the large governmental building in the middle of the city. THe city is very large it has close to three thousand people living in it. I walked to work every day. I made just enough money to support my sister and mother my father died from a sickness. As soon as I got there I clocked in and started cleaning I was cleaning a official's desk when I saw a folder that said top secret. My curiosity got the best of me and I opened it when I was sure there was no one around. It had a report on the main square and how soon a dungeon would appear there. I read the entire report and it said the dungeon would change the city. I went back to moping while thinking about this dungeon. I looked up and in the bathroom mirror, I saw myself I was 6ft with dark brown hair and brown eyes and normal shoulders. I worked the rest of the day then I went home. The folder had said that the dungeon would be appearing tomorrow. I wanted to explore the dungeon and see if there was anything good I could find. I ate with my mom and sister. My mom was of average height with a plain face. My sister was small and young she was 10 years old. She had brown hair with blue eyes and was cute. Then I went to bed.

The next day I woke up early and headed to the main square. When I got there I flashed my government employee card and they let me in.

Everyone was discussing the dungeon and whether anyone should try to go in. I volunteered to be part off the first party to enter the dungeon. THey gave us weapons and briefed us on what was expected. With that the leader said lets go.

With that we plunged into the dungeon. As soon as we got inside it was well lit and there were passageways leading away that were darker then the main room. I had been given a sword and I knew how to cut stuff. We moved as a party and went down the right passageway. Monster up ahead the leader yelled. With that I firmly grasped my sword as I was near the front. It was a slime. That monster was something you could find in the forest far away from the city where I lived. The head warrior cut it with a chop. It didn't do anything. You have to hit the slime core I said to him.

He slashed the little ball inside the slime and the slime splashed on to the ground dead. We continued on through the mze of passageways the only monster we saw was the slimes. After we had explored some of the dungeon my team decided to go up to the surface and report. I asked if I could stay in the dungeon. Can I stay here and not go with you guys? The team leader said yes the dungeon wasn't dangerous enough that I needed a party.I watched while they all climbed the stairs to the exit.

I turned around to face the dungeon myself. The team had killed the slimes together so I got very little. There had to be a benefit to this dungeon. And I was going to find it. I walked down the left corridor thinking that I was going to follow the wall. I tried to take every left I could. A slime appeared and I slashed through it until I could find the core. It was my first solo victory. I made my way through the dungeon battling slime after slime. It got late and I had to head back. I still remembered the way back. After slashing through another slime I made it back to the staircase. As soon as I got out I was asked to talk with a general about the dungeon. I told him everything I knew and then I went home. THey said I could come back and they didn't know the effects of the dungeon. The next morning I got up and headed to the town square I was going to conquer this dungeon.
