Thoughts had been coming for a long time now but not coherent ones. Flashes of color and images here and there. It is imposible to find out when the first thoughts consisting of words started. The first thought I remembered having was "I'm so hungry," followed by "I don't have a stomach how can I be hungry?" thought with great alarm. Those two thoughts were followed quickly by "How do I know what a stomach is? Just what am I?"

I was not expecting an awnser to that question. So I'm a Dungeon Core. Wait, what was that? Dungeon core. Why didn't it do the thing that time. Hmmmm. Let me try something, "I am a Dungeon Core." So what I mean when I say it changes the meaning of the word. Interesting, I will have to come back to this later. So I have established that I am a Dungeon Core, but what does that mean?

That was strange. What did those messages mean? Tutorial already taken by this vessel? Did that mean that I had taken this tutorial before? Before I could ponder any further on these questions, another system message appeared.

With that message, everything started to fade to black. I was starting to panic when I heard a monotone disembodied voice all around me.
"Dungeon cores are forces of nature usually attached to a guiding presence." With this voice a glowing rock formed from the void followed by a ball of light. "The Dungeon Guides, as they are commonly refered to, are as diverse as the dungeon cores themselves. Wisps are the most commmon dungeon guides among new dungeons due to their simplicity to create. Once a sufficient ammount of mana has been pushed into an area a wisp forms. They are knowlegeable in the ways to advance a dungeon like all dungeon guides, but unlike other dungeon guides, they can not be taken away from the dungeon expect for extensive and costly rituals. The down side to this is that wisps can not affect matter in any way and are limmited in their capacity to manipulate mana."
If I am getting this, then wisps are the mosts common, can't be stolen, but can't really help oustide of their knowlege. That's understandable.
"The second type of dungeon guide are animals. They come in varying shapes, sizes, intelegence levels, and ablities. They have knowlege of how to grow a dungeon and can interact with both matter and mana in different ways. The main downside to this is that they are easily captured and dungeons have to protect them."
So animals can be taken but can help out more, I see why some dungeons would choose this option.
