Law didn't really know what to do once he got his body, he knew he wanted to actually use it for something, but he got pretty bored pretty quickly once he actually went out into the world. So he set his Idol body into something like an auto pilot mode. That was where he would provide the most minimal amount of attention to the body. Once he did that he gave the Golem instructions to wonder the world how it liked. This lead to a somewhat famous legend of a buff man working out on a tortoise made of stone, going around various kingdoms.
Since he dealt with the Idol body Law decided to re vamp his dungeon. He realized that other than some petty tricks and a few strong monsters he didn't have much protection. So he decided to go all out in creating some bad ass dungeon monsters. Though he would still go for quality over quantity, since his Biological Manipulation skill would be best for that. After all it would be a lot easier to make 100 super powerful boss level monsters than 1,000 above average strength monsters.
So Law sent his Battle Bug Trio out in search of specific monsters around his territory. He wanted a tiger, a hippo, an elephant, and an ox. For now he would focus on creating another group of battle bugs.
He had his actual boss monster, he had his Battle Bug Trio who could easily rival his boss, there was test orc who could take down crowds way easier than the previous two, and then a few decentish monster that Law had shown interest in. Law's goal was two make all of his creatures including the ones he sent his BBT out to get to the level of a boss monster.
And so proceeded the month long job of the BBT. Law didn't waste that month though, he started to focus on his test orc. Law decided to try out a crazy idea he had had once he created the poison blower. He wanted to make test orc into a cyborg.
The first thing Law did was he bought an orc arm exactly like test orcs from the dungeon store, it was surprisingly expensive costing Law a full one thousand points.
With the arm Law first cut it open and took out al of the bones. Once he had everything about the bone memorized down to the smallest detail Law started to make metal bones. He first tried out using basic iron; Law used his Mana to meld out all of the pieces, but even with Mana Law had trouble perfectly replicating the bones. So Law tried out some other mortal Mana's. They also didn't work.
After much deliberating Law finally took the hit and bought a Magical metal that is tougher and easier to meld. The first magical metal that Law bought was better than even the best mortal metals that Law had used. He was able to perfectly replicate the arm.
After he replicated the arm Law started to upgrade everything to make the metal bones hollow. The idea he had for Test Orcs first cyborg part was a built in poison blower. After a week Law was able to not only accomplish the goal of hollowing out the bones. He had also designed how he was going to propel the poison out of the arm blower. The blower device was similar to a heart that would activate at Test Orc's will. When activated it would take all the poison in the poison sac that was connected to the blower and pump it out of the tube. Test Orc could change the amount of power that the blower used.
Law then went and made a that connected to the pump. The sac had a small tube connected to Test Orc's thumb. That tube would be how Test Orc could insert the poison into the sac.
Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.
It should be mentioned that the the the blower and sac were situated in the shoulder. It was the right arm that would act as the poison blower.
Once Law finished working on Test Orc he decided to take a break by checking in on his Idol.
Inside of a random forest one could find a quickly moving stone turtle with a tall, buff, hairy fellow doing push-ups. He was grunting with a deep guttural voice that sounded like a the lead singer of one of Law's favorite bands from his past life. ( Signs of the Swarm )
Any passerby's going through the forest would think that a tiger was masturbating. Seeing that his Idol wasn't doing anything special Law decided to focus back on his dungeon. He figured it would good to work on some of his other creatures. He thought about it and in the end he decided to work on his treant.
In reality Treants were fairly rare monsters with only a small clan of twelve or so existing.
Law's Treant was upgraded to act as a large wall for his dungeon. So Law decided to change it up and let it have better attack. He did the thing that all novels talk about when they mention powerful trees. He gave his treant thorns and more roots. The thorns would naturally suck blood out of its victims. He also changed the bark to be tougher and more resistant to cutting and magic.
Once he finished upgrading his Treant, the BBT finally returned with the creatures he asked for. All of the creatures were extremely talents among their race, as was specified by Law. That was the reason it actually took the bugs took so long to gather up on four non magical creatures.
The tiger was smaller than most others of it's kind, but it was faster, smarter, and it had sharper claws. The hippo was FAT. It was easily three times the size of most others of it's kind. It also had tank like legs that could crush metal and a jaw that could easily chew rocks. The elephant similar to the hippo in that it was bigger and stronger than most others of it's race. It also had fours sharp tusks, two trunks and three tails. That suggested that the elephant had already evolved despite not having it's beast core yet. The ox was the most odd out of the picked up teachers. The ox stood on two legs like a human and it carried a smoking pipe in it's mouth. It would inhale through it's mouth and exhale through it's nose. On it's nose was a shiny golden ring. The ox's horns went straight up from it's head and ended in a sharp point. Clearly the ox would polish his horns often.
Law telepathically talked to all four of the creatures.
" You four were gathered to be part an elite force of my creation. Your goal will be to protect the dungeon or accomplish my orders. "
After that Law got into evolving the creatures.
He first started injecting absurd amounts of Mana into each of the four. The ox was the first to gain his core. It seemed he was the oldest and already had the most amounts of Mana, he was already on the verge of getting his core.
Since he had his core Law started to work on his body. At the same time he continued injecting the others with Mana.
Marshall first worked on the ox's brain. For an ox that didn't have it's beast core yet to be as smart as most humans were, was something amazing. When he started to work on it's brain Law was amazed, it was like nothing he had ever seen before. It was just evolved, literally. Law thought that if after millions of years one were to study an ox's brain it would maybe be like this. Law just couldn't get enough of studying the brain, he had literally nothing he could do to better the brain. He could however better the ox's body. He did the usual routine of bettering it's body. Nothing unusual there.
Solomon did the same for all of the animals. You know just better everything he could. He did mess with the elephants skin though. When he first started messing with the elephant he discovered an odd bloodline in the elephant. So he checked it out and compared it with some Dna blueprints he had bought from the Dungeon Store. Marshall discovered that the bloodline was Grootslang Dna. That would make since as to how the elephant was so powerful and had already evolved. Grootslang were one one of the oldest and most powerful creatures that could rival even dragons.
Once he had the four creatures as perfect as he could make Law gave each of them a mentor either from the BBT or his orc Boss. Law was looking forward to how the four would turn out.
