First of all, to the readers reading this, I would like to declare that I will be rewriting this story, and I have uploaded the rewritten version so you can read it now.

So explanations, I was totally in over my head. This was my first time writing, and I was so excited, brimming with ideas, settings, and world-building ideas. I wanted to write about everything, explain everything, and solidify the world to make it feel real and not like a half-finished project miraculously working with glue and duct tape. Unfortunately, that just ended up with me saying a lot without going anywhere, writing about unnecessary stuff, making unnecessarily complicated explanations, and not getting to what this story wanted to tell.
