Hey guys! I know this is a bit odd but in order to notify you, which you more than deserve, I have to write at least 500 characters. Here goes.

I have had a strong attack of writers' block with this story. I sort of wrote myself into a corner. It was my first attempt at writing a book and while I am very happy with much of it did not go in the direction that I intended. Then I started off behind the 8 ball by not having a large number of chapters to go everyday so the pressure of doing one a day sometimes finishing late at night has led to a lack of revisions and proper rereads or rewrites.

Ever since Travis took off on his journey I haven't really known where to go. I did have an outline of him running into people that were a part of a new magic school and that would lead him to the large compound of which I planned to introduce. But then I decided to wrap up this book so I can get a head start and close out some plot holes, unfortunately I got myself kind of stuck.

What I am going to do is take a break from this story. It is not over; I will finish it. I just got a job at a new video game journalism start up called Pixel Dive. So, I have been writing my article for them and I have forced the last couple chapters. I think they are still solid, but I owe you guys more and instead of just pumping out another 10 chapters to wrap up and I am going to pause and finish when I get a good idea for where to go.

I have an outline written for a couple different stories and honestly, I hope you guys will join me in reading the next one I do. A younger version of myself would have just ghosted this and started a new account but that is not cool and I will not do that. If you do not want to stick around I understand but I feel like I have improved as a writer and given the chance to have 10-15 articles in the chamber so I do not have to furiously type a chapter a day will lead to a better story.

I have 2 main ideas that I am working on.

One is a military based fantasy story with an addition of one or two historical figures from our past. The appearances would not be forced it would be part of the story. Basically two nations are going at each other and in an attempt to seek assistance one of the armies tries to summon a great warrior. This great warrior is leading his troops into Germany as he disappears and shows up in a magical world where military tactics are lacking. I don't think it will be litrpg just straight fantasy but I'm not sure.

The other is something I came up with recently. I have this weird fear that people are going to steal my ideas, strange I know. At most 50 people will even read this if that and you guys are readers. Not to say that you couldn't write, but I digress. The second idea takes an invasion trope but has it happen in a fantasy version of earth with magic. Not modern but medieval I just like the idea of the earth politics. Will the Kings of Europe fight together with the horse hordes of the east or the Muslim (might not be Muslim but a fictional version) forces in North Africa and the Middle East.

I have another 3 ideas that are good but I am not going to start with them.
