Therefore she finally broke the silence with an audible sigh, “I see, but there is still more to my theory.”
Abhi sighed and put his coiling emotions to the back of his mind and said, “Please continue.”
Nameless scratched her forehead for a bit before she said:
“You see, I may have not told the complete truth about the ‘Flashback(s)’ I had. Because in reality I have had two of them.”
Abhi’s expression didn’t change as he continued to look at Nameless with expectant eyes.
“My first flashback started when I entered the portal for the first time and fell onto the dark ocean. It went as I said it did. First I saw your knocked up body then time reversed to the point of you standing in front of the school building. After that I followed you through your entire day till you finally reached the conclusion—getting knocked out by the supervisor.
“And that's where the flash back had truly ended, and then the proceeding cataclysmic event with the whirlpools happened. I didn’t mention certain things for various reasons.
“Like I said there were two cracks and two whirlpools with a pillar of light emitting from its epicenter. That is true but not the full truth. There weren’t just two cracks, but rather two lines of cracks stretching to infinity. And on top of each of them was a whirlpool and another pillar of light.
“I wanted to not believe in this but, there really were an infinite amount of these monstrous disasters. The entire left row spinning anti-clockwise and the right row spinning clockwise. And both of them together spinning my head till my damn neck cracks.”
Abhi looked at her with squinted eyes and deep thoughts. He said, “That's quite the tale… hard to believe don’t you think? And why did you not tell me this before hand?”
“Believe it or not up to you, I am telling the full truth… this time. The reason I didn’t say these facts before is because for two reasons. One my theory about the relation of these realm to your body contradicts with the two infinite rows of cracks.
“And well the second reason is simple; I didn’t want to sound more outlandish than I already do. And why should I mention them anyway? These infinite dual rows are quite irrelevant. Just two killer whirlpools or two endless rows of killer whirlpools, makes no difference to me cause gonna die by getting caught in one anyway”
Abhi quietly listened to her ramblings, his thoughts a mystery. Realizing she wasn’t getting a reaction or a reply, Nameless continued.
“But the place, or well time where I really hid my knowledge—knowledge that was actually important and relevant was regarding the event that happened at the end of the cataclysm…”
Abhi’s head turned a bit, expressing a more attentive demeanor with perked ears carefully listening to what Nameless was about to say.
“See brother, I am really taking a risk with letting you know the information I am about to tell you. It could be a matter of life or death to me as well. Infact I would not be so keen on our deal if not for the possibility of another cataclysmic event hitting us out of no where. So you better keep your end of the deal and tell me whats going on behind that big ahh forehead of yours.”
Abhi intently started at her, his eyes containing hints of offense and amusement mixed together. Finally broke out in laughter, “Ha ha ha! You don’t have to worry silly I care about my life too. If telling you what’s necessary will get me to live another day; I’ll do it a hundered times over.”

Hearing that made her lips curl up a bit but she quickly got to business:
“What I said is true, I really did get evaporated out of existence at the end of my first visit in the Nightmare Dimension. But the story didn’t end there.
“When the boundless golden divine light coming out of the two cracks cooked the entire dimension to a crisp, the world itself crumbled and fell through the two cracks.
“As it crumbled the dimension took the shape of a cube, then the cube divided into two and fell down each of the cracks. The left cube of space took me with it.
“But just before I died I saw what existed beyond the cracks, what existed was a mirror. And in that mirror I saw my reflection. I, and this entire dimension existed within… within a pair of eyes—the two enormous cracks were the slits of the two eyelids that slowly opened up.”
Hearing that Abhi’s eyes opened up wide as well. But he didn’t interrupt.
“Those eyes belonged to a colossal creature that looked like a human. He had two eyes, two ears, two hands, two legs, one mouth, one nose and everything else like any other human. I could not distinguish this colossal being from a mundane human if not for the difference in size.
“Then I looked more carefully and realized that the endless dark ocean had actually drained down on his face! The salty water was actually the tears of this entity rolling down his face, only to be obstructed by a contradicting smile.”
Abhi’s brows instantly furrowed, a hint of realization appearing on his face.
“That was the last thing I saw before dying. But for some reason, after getting evaporated by the boundless divine light, I was transmigrated into the body of that colossal being. After taking control of it I soon realized that the colossal being was just a normal human in a mundane world, and instead I was the miniature one.
“But then slowly I also recognized the face of the ‘colossal’ human. It was easy to tell who it was—After all, I spent hours staring at it. The colossal human was-
It was you Abhi…”
Stunned out of his world, Abhi kept staring at Nameless in disbelief. But to her surprise, he was composed just a moment later. He looked down and gently rubbed his chin; his eyes showcased an obscured emotion. Did Abhi just feel an… epiphany?
His head slowly turned to look at Nameless and he finally broke the silence. “Everything makes sense now.”
Nameless tilted her head, unable to understand what he was on about. He didn’t make her wait too long.
“Nameless… I too had a vision. Or in your words I also experienced a ‘flashback’.”
Her eyes widened and the left eyebrow on her face perked up.
“It’s almost in the exact same situation as your experience with the flashback. For all of my existence in the Abyss dimension. I never felt any time of force act upon me. I was either stuck in there unmoving, or was moving at a consistent and uninterrupted speed in nothingness.
“Then randomly I felt a powerful pull act upon my body. And just like you, I was sucked into the portal leading to the Nightmare dimension as well. And just like you, I also instantly started seeing a scene of unknown origins as an intangible spectator.
“The scene started with a young boy sleeping on a thin mattress, at that moment time stopped. But the hands of the clock soo started to move, but not how they were supposed to. Ironically the hands of the clock were moving anti-clockwise.
“The boy rolled around on the bed a few times—as one does while trying to sleep. But the speed at which he was moving around was far too fast to be normal so I realized that the reversed time does not flow at the same pace as normal time rather it's much faster and keeps accelerating.
“Then suddenly the boy sat up in a jump, like a ninja. In high speed reversed time, the sight was quite comical. But then time reached a level of speed where comprehensibility lost its meaning and everything turned into blur.
“This state didn’t last for too long though and soon the reversed time stopped. And continued its normal progressive flow. The final scene in the reversed time—and by extension the earliest scene in the flash chronologically was:
The boy was standing in front of the mirror, he had tears rolling down his eyes while at the same time a vibrant smile contradicted it.”
Nameless furrowed her brows, then asked expectantly, “So you saw your own flashback?”
“...Yes”
“...” *sigh* “How the hell does that even work?”
