Saffy catches up to Tri as they make their way towards the school gates. Tri sighs loudly exasperated over the situation as he peeks back at Edmond. Saffy reaches his side and bumps into his back as he stops. She peeks over Tri’s side and see’s a crowd gathered around the gate.
In the middle of the crowd, a pair of students stand one hunched over and sweaty as if injured and the other standing tall with a big grin on his face. The taller student rushes ahead with a smirk on his face and a clenched fist.
“Eat this your fish eyed loser!” He yells out.
He punches the other student in the gut knocking him back and onto the ground as he writhes on the ground.
“You like that, don’t dare step to me again you little shit!” He yells out enraged.
The other student stops coughing and laughs loudly as he forces himself to stand wiping away the spittle on his chin. “Wow, that felt like nothing.”
“You!” He yells as he charges ahead.
Rushing in with his fist raised the shorter student lifts himself up and headbutts him and throws his weight onto the larger student. Sitting on top of him he raises his fist and punches him in the face repeatedly.
“You see, this is what I mean!” He yells out. “Your nothing more than a piece of crap, nothing more than trash!”
As he punches him a teacher rushes out and pulls him off of the other student. “What the hells going on!?” He yells out.
“Alright everyone, nothing to see here. Let’s move along and head to our classes.” Another teacher says walking up to the group. “Or does everyone here want detention for the year?”
The entire crowd disperses rushing into the school buildings as Tri and Saffy make their way through the crowd. As the pair walks through the crowd, the odd student takes a peek at the crowd taking note of Saffy and smiling as she passes.
“What was that about?” Saffy asks curiously.
“It’s nothing, just another schoolyard scrabble, it’s not really important to think about,” Tri says walking ahead uninterested.
“But that was unusual, normally fights like that don’t happen in school,” Saffy says looking around. “Hey, where’d Edmond go?”
Tri holds out the watch. “He’s most likely in the coin. He said he doesn’t want to interfere with my studies so he naps in the coin during school time.”
“Oh, I was hoping he’d know what’s going on. I’m thinking Phantoms are involved.”

Tri rolls his eyes. “Don’t worry about it Saffy, we’re going to ignore that crap and just go about our day.”
“Oh alright, but if things get crazy, then we’re waking Edmond up okay,” Saffy says seriously.
“Fine,” Tri says disinterest. “Now let’s just get to class already.”
Tri walks into the classroom and makes his way to his seat as the surrounding students gossip among themselves. Tri ignores the students as a teacher walks into the room clapping his hands to get the attention of the room.
“Now everyone, I know we’ve had an exciting morning, but let’s not forget we are in a place of learning.” He says seriously. “Anyway, if any of you notice any more oddities, please inform a teacher so we can handle the situation.”
“Right!” Everyone yells out at once.
“We’ll start the class in ten more minutes so you all can get the last of it out of your systems.” He says seriously as he makes his way out of the room. “And don’t forget to pull out your homework because you're all excited.”
As he leaves the students all turn towards themselves and return to gossiping. “Hey, that was crazy right?”
“Yeah who even was that guy?”
“I think his name was Kyle or something, he’s a complete nobody though totally unassuming.”
“I would never expect someone like that to take on Bale, he’s super aggro about everything.”
“Did anyone even see how it happened?”
“I did.” One student says gathering the classes attention. “Basically, Bale went and crossed Kyle’s path knocking him over. Bale being Bale didn’t apologize or admit to any mistake with Kyle flipping out and yelling at him and then the rest you all know.”
“Normally someone like Kyle would just take it and slink off somewhere, I wonder what happened?”
“Maybe it was drugs or something, he did look like he was shaking a lot.”
“Well, he did get punched in the stomach.”
Tri turns away from the ground and stares at the door waiting for the teacher to return.
Ah, what a day, a weird dream and now everyone’s going crazy over some dumb fight. I really hope that today goes by quickly and easily, I’m already tired of today. Tri thinks to himself. I hope Saffy is staying out of trouble if she gets herself involved it can only end up in more craziness.
Elsewhere in the school building, Saffy sits in the classroom surrounded by other students gossiping about the earlier fight. She smiles and laughs only barely engaging with the conversation as a teacher walks into the classroom.
“Saffron!” He yells out.
“Yes!” Saffy yells out leaping up.
“Oh, good you’re here. I was hoping you’d run to the supply closet and get some supplies before class starts.”
“That’s not fair to always rely on Saffy Mr. Morgan.” A student says jokingly. “You're lucky she’s such a good kid or else you’d be screwed.”
The teacher lowers his head. “I know I rely on her too much, but this is an important task and I still have grades to put in.”
Saffy stands with a large smile on her face. “Don’t worry, I’ll do it!”
“Saffy, you’re too kind.” She says. “If it wasn’t for that boyfriend of yours then I’m sure you’d be twice as popular.”
Saffy blushes slightly. “Tri isn’t my boyfriend, he’s more like a brother or an idol to me.”
“An idol?”
“Ah don’t worry about it!” She yells out as she moves towards the door. “Anyway, I’m going to go get those materials.”
“Wait, I still need to tell you what you’re getting.”
“Oh right.”
As Saffy and the teacher talk, Kyle walks out from behind a corner and smiles as he looks at Saffy licking his lips. He reaches out as his body shakes staring at Saffy with a mad smirk in his eyes.
“Saffron, Saffron, I’ll make you mine.” He mumbles as he reaches for her. “No matter what you’ll be mine, and then this pain will stop.”
