"As a 'great' Alchemist, of all people here shouldn't you be the one that knew how important the first pill an alchemist made? You know that but you didn't do anything. How can you be worthy as a teacher and alchemist?" Otto opened his mouth to refute Sven's poisonous words but no words came out. Sven's words although disrespectful but all of it made sense and logical that he didn't know what to do

"Could it be just because you two are clanmates you are being too bias on him?" Otto's face become grim. If the academy knew this he would be punished greatly. The Mighty Blood Academy is one of the best amongst the various Dukedoms. Not just because many talented kids enrolled but also because of how they run the academy

Here, you will have an advantage from your origin but there were still limits. If a student has a higher talent than you even if you came from a great Nobility Clan the academy won't let you be so unbridled. As long as the student didn't do anything disrespectful to you, you are not allowed to do horrible things

This also applied to all the teachers. You can be a bit bias on your clan members but only a little bit. Yohan's act was something that the academy won't allow. If they were to know that Otto let it happen without giving punishment even he wouldn't have a good end

Otto sighed and waved his hand and Yohan's unconscious body was lifted by an unknown power and landed on Otto's hand. "Student Yohan's resources for the whole month will be given to student Kence as a punishment. That is all for today, class dismiss!"

Otto was the first one to exit the room while holding Yohan on his hands. He was followed by the students who were eager to gossip and spread the things that happened today. There was only Kence and Sven that was left inside the room

Kence stood up from the ground and carefully placed his pill inside a new glass bottle. "Thank you" Kence's words of gratitude was the most sincere one he said in his entire life. He was ready to suffer and swallow today's humiliation but thankfully Sven did something about it

"I didn't do it for you. I just hate him" Sven answered emotionlessly and walked out from the room. His words were actually true. At first he didn't want to do anything but Yohan's actions really irritated him. He let the kid to say annoying words at first and he didn't reply but Sven's patience has a limit. He was someome who attained the power of Gods before, if he was not weak now how can he let a weakling like that to say such words to him?

Yohan crossed the line and reached the limit of his patience that's why he take action

Kence looked at Sven's back while smiling bitterly. He thought that Sven was just shy to admit helping him and he gained a good impression on the kid. For him Sven's mouth was as poisonous as his Bloodline but he was not that bad and was actually kind hearted

Kence carefully put the bottle containing his first pill on the pocket of his robe and chased Sven. Sven didn't said anything and just let the other kid to follow him

The two went back on their dorm and saw a student that was about to knock on their door. Kence narrowed his eyes and wonder what the student wants as he didn't look like a first year student

Kence walked faster and poke at the man's back. "Hello, that is our room. What do you need with us?" Kence asked kindly while smiling at his fellow student

The student turned his back to look at Kence and was shock to see a beautiful blue hair and eyed kid smiling at him. A fire suddenly ignited at the student's eyes which made Kence to step back uncomfortably. Kence can feel the student's perverted eyes checking his body and he felt like he was standing naked in front of the man.

Kence frowned as he didn't like the way the man look at him. "Hi, I'm here to give you an invitation" the student put his hand on his pocket and handed a red colored card to Kence

Kence used his hand to get the card and immediately withdrawn it as the man took the chance to touch his hand. The sense of disgust that Kence felt made him to have a complicated look on his face

"This is the invitation for Blood Party that will happen one month from now. The 2nd year students has the tradition of treating the first years in a meal and drink. As to congratulate you all we will also give some cultivation resources. I hope you will come, the party will be 'great' I promise" somehow Kence felt that there was a double meaning when the student said that the party would be great. However, hearing that the second year students will give out cultivation resources he really wanted to go

"Hmm, okay. Thank you" Kence said and the man looked at Kence from head to toe before leaving.

The two entered the dorm and Sven walk to his room. "Sven wait!"

Sven looked back at Kence with a questioning and impatient look on his face. "Are you going to go in the party?" Kence asked

"No. I don't like parties" Kence nodded on his mind. He will never believe that a person like Sven would like parties. "But aren't you interested in the resources?" Even if he don't like parties but he can at least attend it and let time pass to gain more cultivation resources

"Naive" Sven answered before entering his room. "Argh you are kind but your attitude still sucks most of the time!" Kence's face was red in irritation. He asked Sven if he is going to attend the party because he wants to talk to him and become closer. The kid helped him a lot of times and he wants to be friend with him but Sven's mouth just wouldn't stop saying irritating things

Kence just walked back to his room to rest for a bit. His soul power was depleted and he can't continue absorbing his Origin Blood for now. Kence put the invitation on his table before spreading his body on his soft bed and sigh in pleasure

He badly need rest now. In just a few seconds he drifted into the dreamland. Kence slept for a few hours before he heard a knocking sound that woke him up. Kence groaned at the annoying sound. He half asleep walk out from his room and went to the dorm's door not knowing how messed up his hair was

Kence yawn before opening the dorm's door and saw a saint like looking kid that looked so kind with a smile on his face. The two kids looked at each other blankly before Calter broke out in a laugh at seeing Kence's messy hair which returned Kence's senses

"Calter!" Kence exclaimed and opened the door wider to let his friend enter the dorm and Calter tightly hugged Kence. "I miss you!"

Kence chuckled at his friend "we just met yesterday!" The two of them don't have a General Cultivation Class and naturally didn't met today. Kence was also busy on the Alchemy Class and Calter attended the Sword Class

"So what? I miss my friend! Let's eat I brought food!" Calter said while holding a cloth wrapped on something in front of Kence. "And please let me spare with your complaints. I just want to have someone to share a meal with okay?"

Kence was about to protest but Calter already put down the foods on the table. Calter unwrapped the piece of cloth and arranged the small boxes of food inside it in the table. "Come here!" Calter patted the seat next to him for Kence to sit

Kence groaned and sat on the chair without a choice. "Don't worry about the food it's not that expensive!" Calter said and handed a spoon and fork to the unbelieving Kence. "Come on don't be like that. My Sword Teacher gave me money for food because he said that my swordmanship is good!" Calter said proudly

He didn't want to dampen his friend's mood and without a choice sat on the chair next to Calter. "Fine, but next time I will be the one to treat you when I started selling my pills" it was now Kence's time to boast his achievements. Calter turned to look at him with question marks on his face

Kence grinned before running to his room and take his first ever pill with him and showed it to Calter. "Charan! I succeeded on my third try and it has 38% purity!"

Calter's mouth parted in shock. "I'm great right?" Kence grinned again and rubbed the pill bottle on his smooth white face. "You made that? That's amazing Kence!" Calter said with smiles on his face but he suddenly remembered something. "Wait, you have a Blue Bird Bloodline right?" Calter asked and Kence suddenly remembered his teacher's words

Kence nodded and take a sit beside Calter. "I-I'm sorry" Calter apologized at seeing Kence's joy vanished. He felt terrible asking a question like that. "Don't worry Kence, I'm sure you can still become a successful alchemist in the future!" Calter started rubbing Kence's back to console him

"Actually, Sven said he has a way to make me an alchemist" Kence said with a bit of hope. He really hoped that Sven would really help him and has a way. He only made a pill once but the first pill he made, made him want to continue learning alchemy

A teasing smile appeared on Calter's face "Oh, it seem like you two made a lot of progress" Calter giggled as his imaginations started running wild. Kence frowned at Calter's words that he didn't quite understand and it seems like there was something that Calter meant by that

"What are you talking about?"

"Nothing" Calter shooked his has innocently that made Kence irritated. "Argh what's with your expression? How come it makes me so irritated?"

Calter put his right hand on his chest and acted as if he was hurt. "How can you say something that mean to me?" Kence laughed at his friend's silliness and Calter laughed too at his own actions

"By the way, can we share this with Sven? He kinda helped me in the Alchemy Class" Even if Sven's mouth made Kence to want to zip it the fact that Sven helped him a lot of times before still remained. He still don't have money now and don't have a way to repay Kence. Since Calter prepared so many foods that the two of them can't finish it on their own, it was better to share it with him

"Sure, sure. The more the merrier! Share it with your hus-- roommate" Kence glared at Calter who just looked at him with a teasing smile. "Argh stop that!"

"Stop what?" Calter feigned ignorance and continue teasing Kence. "I hope you trip today!" Kence said in anger and stood up from his seat to ask Sven to join them

However, it's like destiny played a prank on him and it was Kence who accidentally tripped on his way. Calter's laugh entered Kence's ears and he glared hatefully at the former

Kence knocked on Sven's door but the person inside didn't said anything. Kence rolled his eyes and took the initiative to speak. "Umm hi, do you want to join me and Calter in lunch?" Kence asked nicely

"Not interested" a voice from inside the room said. Kence clenched his fist as Sven's answer came too quick that it was like he didn't even thought of it and straightly rejected him

"There are a lot of delicious foods. I just want to repay you for your help!"
